The mound looked perfect after he applied the drying agent - not one swirl or uneven spot. I heard that it takes years on the crew before you're allowed to touch the pitching mound.
It must be great to be so involved with your favorite baseball team as a job! You get to watch every game (live!) and actually be a part of it. I almost left my Electrical degree midway to go for Turf Management, lol!
@@MrSizewise Outfielders usually leave a good impression on their "spot" after 9 innings. I used to play Center and I used to DIG my cleats in hard in the spot so I wouldn't be surprised if Major League players did it too!
Always loved watching the grounds crew do their stuff during the games as a kid - still do!
You guys are the best.
David Mellor we will miss you ❤️💙
One of the best teams in the league. Boston Red Sox FOREVER.
THE best team, not one of, but THE best. XD
Awsome. Amazing work!
Exactly the content I wanna see 😤
Some of the best in the biz! Shoutout to David, Devin, and Jedi!

Thank you👍🏼👍🏼
As a Dodger and baseball fan, I applaud these man and woman
This guy's far too handsome to just be grounds crew. Someone should put him in the background of a movie once every few years.
Love it. Worked there for 10 years myself.
I think he said they were grow lights. Guessing but probably putting them over the most worn out spots

Awesome job!
My dream job has always been to mow the field in the Astrodome
I worked grounds crew for the blue jays, truly the best job I had ever had, just wish the pay was better, def a underpaid job!
Are grow lights placed in specific locations, such as patch that is discolored? or is it randomly moved around?
Jeff the 🐐
It would be nice to know what the equipment at the end is used for..
Grow lights, I think.
@@SciTrekMan why such a small area?
