I’m looking to making a career pivot into HR and OMG I am confident I can do TA as a start 😊thank you for sharing this girl . This also helps to see someone that looks like me doing this ❤
I love everything about you! I truly appreciate that my sister found you and said that we BOTH should be watching and learning from you. I have had two resume reviews from you and I have the green light from you about my resume. Thank you!
I LOVE your energy!!! You are so educated and have this stuff down pack!!! I love it 🥰🥰🥰 I’m learning so much, binge watching your videos!!! This is definitely your calling☺️
Awwwww thank you! It's crazy because I never thought about reaching over 10k folks when I started. Thought I'd be lucky to get a couple hundred. I'm so happy to share with you and I'm so happy you found it helpful.
I love this video. You’re so outgoing. I’m an HR Analyst & I often wonder if I would do well in TA even though I’m very much introverted. I want to branch out to see what other sectors in HR that I would like.
Awww! So happy you love it!!! Wellllll, recruiting is not a good fit for introverts. I’m always interacting with others. I’m an extrovert & it makes ME tired from time to time 🤣🤣
No, you do not. If you haven't started your career, click on the EE to HR newsletter link. If you have, click on the HR to HR pro newsletter link. You can also go to my website www.heyyyhr.com and getting any of the freebies will automatically put you on my email list.
oh my!!! Who do you work for? I am a Human Resources Manager and I've been with my company for 13 years. I am definitely looking to make a career pivot into a different industry because I do not just want to KNOW my current industry.
We're not hiring...we're actually in a hiring freeze🥴 ...My weekly newsletter shares job boards with HR jobs (instead of just LinkedIn and Indeed). Are you on my email list?
Are you wanting to travel in HR or specifically recruiting? I just posted this video (link below) last week on the easiest ways to get into HR. I send weekly emails with details on how to start an HR career & jobs you can apply to. To get those emails, the link is in the description box of this video. ruclips.net/video/VLUX4vbugrg/видео.html
Hi there! I am currently being offered a TA specialist role since I’ve been assisting in HR for a bit now and apparently they see some potential in me :) lol Would advice would you give for a first timer? A little nervous here but I think once I get in the groove I’ll be ok!
Congrats! Be ready to learn the details about other roles in the company, learn tools to use, have constant interactions with others (internally and externally) and to create time blocks. Time blocks are needed to stay in top of sourcing/going through apps, scheduling interviews, responding to apps and so much more. I create email templates to use, save tons of links and still attend webinars to improve my boolean search strategies. I have a playlist all on recruiting and Talent Acquisition, you will find it very helpful. Here's the link to it: ruclips.net/p/PLVwCg9-pb6dNl6adaSLhqq9gv3j76reCt
Thanks so much! I appreciate the words of wisdom. Will definitely go through that playlist. Love your energy and how detailed you get, you’ve got yourself a follower here :)
There many ways but the initial is by brand awareness, so that candidates are aware of the company, industry and type of work. Beyond that, I use LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other AI tools like HireTual/HireEZ, Naukri, Lead IQ, Seekout and Social Media groups.
Good evening! What is the most recognised HR certification in your opinion? I have a business management degree in Brazil and I have to prove that I know all the payroll procedures in the US standards to get a promotion :/
Hi! The most recognized HR certification are any of the SHRM or HRCI certifications but you may want to research payroll specific ones like American Payroll Association certifications. Those ones are US payroll specific & sounds like what they’re expecting you to have.
Hello Timeka. Thank you for posting this video. Can I ask you your opinion as a recruiter? Is it a pro or con if a candidate has been with one company for several years (5+)?

Do I need a bachelors to do this?
For this one, yep. You do or a lot of HR experience.
I’m currently back in school for HR, I’m doing a complete career change. Is there any jobs in HR I can get into now without a degree?
Yassss! There are many of them!
Hello Timeka. Thank you for posting this video. Can I ask you your opinion as a recruiter? Is it a pro or con if a candidate has been with one company for several years (5+)?
You’re welcome! In my opinion, it’s a pro because you have institutional knowledge, so you’re learning curve would be easier.

Heeeyyyyy! See you on our appointment tomorrow! Thanks for watching too!
