Yes the Typhon 3s is a gateway into the hobby, but if I could do it all over again I should have saved a little more money back when I got my Typhon 3s and instead opted for the TLR. If you get into the hobby, you’ll want to upgrade the parts and components and it’s just not worth the cost. All of Arrma’s 3s vehicles are great platforms to get into the hobby. After 20 years away from the hobby, when I gave the Typhon 3s the full 3s 100c sauce at 100%, it was more than I could handle. It took me time to learn to handle the power. Plenty of fun can be had for beginner with this Typhon. Classic platform
@chrisginoc Well said! I think at its price point, it's a fantastic buggy that can go on track and also be bashed. The TLR is awesome, but a lot more involved financially, and as it comes as a roller, you require some knowledge when choosing and fit all the electronics. May not be suitable for some newbies. Thank you for supporting the channel, it's really appreciated!
To be fair I think its fast enough for what it is on 3s. I have other buggies that are 4s and 6s. etc... but yes if I did run it as a 4s it would be incredible!
Definitely getting one on Black Friday!! Putting a 6s esc and running 4s and enjoy! 💪🏾💪🏾 nice content
@@williamlambert3465 That thing will fly! Enjoy!

The 3S BLX or even Megas with brushless fitted are great RCs.!
I agree! I've not had a mega yet, though 🤔
I have a Gorgon, and that's great out the box. Even takes on a skate park 🤪
My 3s Typhon is my favorite messing around on a track RC and I have a real good selection of RC’s but my 3s is built real nice too👍🏻
Great car! it was nice to run this after some time.
The Typhon is an absolute weapon 😮
Yes it is, so are the other 3S BLX cars.!
It's a true classic, in my opinion, by Arrma. Never gets boring! So versatile!
Big rock 3s 💪🏼

@ Arrma has the TLR RTR now.
@chrisginoc oh yes, they do! How could I forget that!😂😂😂
I was thinking of mine as I have the roller.
Brilliant video

Noice!
@@markcole6475 thank you!
Hard to film and drive on these type of tracks need to go faster give it some full throttle your feathering it lol
I thought it done well given the space! as the track is not big and it's very loose on the surface.
I got another track planed! bigger and wider 🤔
@@thercstore. yeah saves the damage tbf I can’t drive hard one handed
@butchmeister80 it's a skill in itself!
They are tested on that Chinese dirt so the tires will hook up great in China… you need some UK style ProLines and you’ll rip that track to shreds!!
To be honest the tires are not too bad to be fair! I have been running big heavy rigs recently. Using this after so long it felt mega light. 😂
@@thercstore. yeah, that makes sense..
Typhon is king of 3s😁 even better on 4s🫶
