The Hulk can leap insane distances (average 3.5 MILES per jump), and according to the first Hulk movie between his size and leg muscle strength he can run at approximately 300 miles per hour. So him getting from Rio in Brazil to Guatamala overnight is easy for the Hulk.
Security guard at 28:07 was Lou Ferrigno aka the original Hulk from the 70s live action show. Love when they pay homage. Also Adamantium is the metal in Wolverine's body. I believe it is reverse-engineered from Vibranium. Adamantium is stronger btw.
@@ennislawrence9583 Way before my time, also. Born in 97' myself. However, I became a big fan of Hulk and Spider-Man (still am) back when I saw their respective movies in theaters back in the very early 2000s.
You can't even see the fucking movie you got to listen and watch them damn three females during the whole movie and I think that redhead girl likes that girl on the end
Glad that you girls remembered the post-credit scenes! I do agree the Hulk story is quite sad but very interesting especially with the whole duality of Bruce and Hulk concept! Can't wait for Iron Man 2!
I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would. And I think it was because of the focus on how Bruce was treated by the government, which I thought was very sad, but seemed realistic.
I really love how The Hulk was treated in this film; more so than the 2003 film, and far better than what Ruffalo did with him in The movies. I loved it because of its connections to its comic-book roots; as well as how it paid homage to The Incredible Hulk TV series. From the use of the bright eyes to trigger the Hulk out, to the cameo of Lou Ferrigno (TV's Original Hulk) as a security guard. It honored the past, and it brought something new to the MCU. I do hope that you'll at least watch (not react) to the pilot episode of The Hulk TV Series; just to see if you can spot any of the references,
Yeah, superglue was actually found to be usable as a skin adhesive (closing wounds, sealing skin). There're specific formulations used for medical applications that are slightly different from regular superglue (cyanoacrylate), but in an emergency and in the absence of those superior alternatives, ordinary superglue is supposed to be safer than sutures.
It's this Hulk (2008) that we want back in theaters! Strong powerful and dark CRUSHING, saving and CRUSHING and no, this "Hulk Pet" who likes to take selfie 🤦♂️🇧🇷
You must have not seen the first HULK (2003) movie with Eric Bana, the storyline intro would make more sense if you go back to watch it from the beginning. For while they couldn’t find the right actor to play this role until Marvel came across Edward Norton then later he started having issues with them and got replaced by Mark Ruffalo, the current banner/ hulk. *Highly recommend to go back to watch the original The Incredible Hulk (1977-1982).*
@47:48, in the comics the boyfriend here Dr. Leonard Sampon actually becomes a superhero himself through gamma radiation. He becomes a super strong and almost invincible surfer looking dude with green hair. However, unlike the Hulk at this point, he maintains his intelligence and personality. So leveraging his super powers and medical background, Doc Sampson becomes the Hulks therapist. I was hoping that they would bring him back to explain some of the things that occur to the Hulk in the later Avengers movies.
So Samuel Sterns (Mr. Blue), is The Leader in the comics. He's basically a super-intelligent dude and the arch enemy of The Hulk. I'm sure there's much more to him but I'm just not familiar with the guy. But in the MCU continuity, there's a comic where Black Widow shoots The Leader in the leg (immediately after the movie ends) and drags him off to SHIELD custody to be studied and they end up doing nothing with him; probably because Hulk is co-owned by Universal Studios and it'd be a hassle to create another Incredible Hulk movie.
Watching this with Jaq was so much fun! She brings a spiciness to reactions that is needed for an average marvel movie like this one. Dont get me wrong, the Hulk is one of my all time favorite superheroes but i just wish he got a proper MCU movie by himself on the level that the other heroes got up till now.
Glad seeing you girls enjoy watching this movie because Hulk was my best favorite Marvel character of all time even of course, Captain America and Wolverine are also my favorite characters! My favorite line from the Hulk is "HULK. SMASH" 👍🏿
In most iterations including this one I believe, Banner is most directly responsible for experimenting on himself and causing himself to first become Hulk. Heavy Jekyll-Hyde, though there's always some element of tragedy, though with Hulk representing the rage that exists in all people. So Banner's at fault for turning himself into the Hulk, for making the critical choice that leads to it happening, but that definitely doesn't mean the government is at all empathetic in any way, and it is at fault for repeatedly trying to hound him in order to get a weapon out of him for their own purposes (common trope and backstory for lotta Marvel characters, actually). And the '50s to the '90s were a time when it was coming out about government secrets like Area 51, that soldiers got experimented on in various ways, that the gov/military had all kindsa projects for developing advanced weapons, as well as the treatment of soldiers and the military as tools in spite of what it did to soldiers themselves. All this was high on the public's mind and parts of that live on even into the 2020s.
Lol this reaction is just filled with tons of men bashing, yal need to ease up.. you guys overthink certain things... that aside this movie is super underated and had the best on screen Hulk till date.
In the Ultimate Marvel Universe line (which inspires the MCU movies), people like the Avengers are classified as Persons of Mass Destruction. Under this classification, just their everyday movement is closely monitored. In some cases, the Avengers aren't even aware of the levels to which they are being tracked. In a later film, a government official will actually ask Tony Stark about the whereabouts of two of the more powerful Avengers. When Tony can't give an answer he literally compares them two walking nuclear weapons.
I know I’m a year late but I fw y’all reaction. And I don’t fw the Gov either. I like how the sista brought that up The Syphilis thing 🤦🏾♂️. I actually found out about it the same time y’all were watching this. That shit is sad and disgusting. And that’s why it’s insane how much they try to hide shit like that. Lake Lanier and other places were erased. And even now, they’re trying to erase parts of “American” history. History that they barely had taught in schools anyway 😑. Thank god for where I came up, cause my history teacher taught us shit like the Willie lynch theory in 7th grade. And whether that whole thing is a myth or not, it still reigns true in parts of black folks. And some of the other things the gov does is sort of like V for Vendetta. We just don’t have extreme Marshall law yet.
News flash girls, Hulk isn't a killer, never has been, cause pain and serious injury yes, kill, no. Also, you need to listen better, in order for the antidote to take effect, it needs a full reaction, meaning, he needs to become the HULK.
Just imagine in the incredible hulk 2 General loses his career and he takes it out on the Hulk he becomes Red Hulk it wouldve been fucking good but its sad Edward Norton got fired from the role as the Hulk and now Marvel made him worse then before
Ha the security guard was the original hulk from the 70s with green paint

Ooooo I didn't know either of these facts. I love that the actor was from the original Hulk show. So cool!
Way before your time young lady. 😆

i was a kid when the tv show aired. it was a big deal back then. but i absolutely love the movies better
You don't need to explain who Ferrigno is lol! His famous from pumping iron!
You can't even see the fucking movie you got to listen and watch them damn three females during the whole movie and I think that redhead girl likes that girl on the end

With how he got to Guatemala I’m pretty sure he jumped there. He can jump far as Hulk so I’m sure he did a mix of jumping and running
The security guard is the INCREDIBLE HULK from the TV show

Your name makes this comment even better.

Has anyone mentioned that the BUFF security was the ORIGINAL HULK from the old TV shows????
Edward Norton was the most realistic hulk ever
@47:48, in the comics the boyfriend here Dr. Leonard Sampon actually becomes a superhero himself through gamma radiation.

So leveraging his super powers and medical background, Doc Sampson becomes the Hulks therapist. He’s the only one left to return to the MCU.
So Samuel Sterns (Mr. Blue), is The Leader in the comics. He's basically a super-intelligent dude and the arch enemy of The Hulk. The best hulk imo! Norton was fucking fantastic

Aww thanks love!!!! I love the Hulk as an overall character he's the ultimate Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde!!!
I always forget this is a MCU movie
Also the scene with the lightning and rain was homage to the original show. The night bruce first became the hulk, it was during a thunderstorm
😂😂😂😂 great reaction
The game Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction was beast
Bruce banner can’t die he can shoot himself in the head and the hulk would just come out and be unaffected
Glad seeing you girls enjoy watching this movie because Hulk was my best favorite Marvel character of all time even of course, Captain America and Wolverine are also my favorite characters! My favorite line from the Hulk is "HULK. SMASH" 👍🏿
Movie Reaction! Marvel's The Incredible Hulk (2008) with Mana, Shelby, and Jaq!
48:38 💀💀💀💀💀💀
@36:22, at this point Blonsky is at more or less the same strength/agility level as Captain America.
Adamantium is the metal in wolverine body
I like Jaq. She's got a dirty mind. I respect that.
She cracks me up fr haha 🤣

I love how ya’ll mention the Hulk Vs movies. I always loved those when I was younger
