Babu should tell the Bible of Marvel, and have someone transcribe it from his words. Only someone like him, from his experience and background, could truly see the important, bible-like messages the stories of the MCU tell. It is a new pantheon, he could be its orator.

You should show these guys the movie Apollo 13. Let them know it is based on real events and is considered extremely accurate to history. Both of them love science, both love America and seeing tales of incredible achievement and bravery. They will be absolutely stunned to know it really happened.

@@bus6292 It's a great little moment in the film, but my highlights are based of our friends' reactions, and they didn't react to Ferrigno at all (for obvious reasons). Some things are destined to get lost in translation unfortunately.

My favorite thing about Hulk is that his strength is virtually limitless because his strength increases the more angry he becomes. But the third transformation in this movie is amazing. I love how we actually see his bones and muscles stretch and his skin turn green as it progresses.
This was something that was set for us viewers since 80's series: Hulking Out *IS* very painful.
Not in the new Avengers movies, Marvel decided to go more towards humour and iam not a fan of that so

Fun Fact: The Security Officer who got the free pizza is Lou Ferrigno, a body builder who played Hulk in the TV series back in 1977-1982. Yeah, he is a big strong guy! Also, the old man who drank the gamma poisoned soda is played by Stan Lee, the creator of pretty much the entire Marvel Universe!
This was a very fun watch. As a lifelong Hulk fan, it warmed my heart to see how Babu reacted to the on screen destruction. His reactions are always tremendous, he cracks me up. BTW, the street battle between Hulk and Abomination was filmed an hour away from my home, on Yonge St. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
I can't wait until they get to watch The Avengers films, especially the ones containing Thanos. More heroes in those than you can shake a stick at. P.S., don't wait too long to show them IT: Chapter 2. While the first one is still somewhat fresh in their minds.
This will be their greatest movie journey and I think they will enjoy it more than anything they've seen so far. Please tell them about Marvel Comics and how most of these characters have existed since the 60s and have appeared in thousands of comic books.
I don’t know, this movie is weird in the whole MCU but that’s largely due to it being made by a different studio. Still like Ed Norton’s take on the character, the side plot about him discovering control of his body is one of the best subtle set ups for his arc in avengers.
And glowing praise from Raeen. He absolutely loved the worst outlier in the entire MCU. The one where people, including me, felt emberassed about showing it to them.
The MCU was released by four different studios: Paramount, Universal, Disney, & Sony.

Fun facts: most of this movie was shot in Canada.
-the South American actors were all local celebrities from that area.
-the humvee flip over, was an accident caught on film and was kept in.
-the great big security guard was played by Lou Ferrigno. He was the HULK on tv.

If he's about to die the hulk instantly absorbs whatever happens to him and can not be killed conventionally. The more damage you do to him will only make him stronger.

This one will always be special to me because it was the first MCU movie I saw in theaters
I was a child of the late '60's and collected Hulk, and Avengers Comics, so 50 years later seeing these wonderful gentlemen introduced for the first time to this is fascinating.
Babu's insightful comments are amazing.
Babu is so wise, that he always notices the moral of the story.
In China, Hong Kong specifically, there's a type of movie called "Martial Arts". They're not about fighting, thought they almnost always have a lot of combat. Martial Arts are about controlling and changing oneself. All Marvel origin story movies are inherently martial arts movies, Iron Man, Ant Man, and Dr. Strange most especially.
Loved seeing them so happy to see Tony at the end.

I want to know where Banner buys his pants. No matter how big and strong he gets, the pants fit. I've had problems when I've eaten too much.
The ideas for the movies in the MCU like a man of iron and a strong green demon come from American comic books, which if they don't know are illustrated magazines telling the stories of superheroes and other fantastic tales. Comic books have been around since 1842 and have been adored by children and adults alike.

I remember my own MCU journey , amazing movies and characters (and actors). But when they put them together in The Avengers, that just took it to a whole new level, the best there is. When Bruce Banner was born, he had it throughout his body. An accident with gamma radiation made him the way he is today. The one he is fighting is no match to him, so he better not get the hulk real mad.

It’s not necessary to see the earlier one. This one starts things off pretty well. They may have also read that the earlier one is not an MCU film, because technically it isn’t, and if they heard about the MCU and wanted to start the MCU journey, it makes sense that they would start with Iron Man and then this film.
