Kudos to you for another interesting modern GI Joe af set review. Surprised that, after reviewing so many GI Joe action figures in the past that your weapon identification still have the same problem as Tripwire walking. For example, T'jbang's primary weapons are known as hook swords (thought the curved business end of the sword gave you the clue) and I believe the last reviewed assault rifle of Steel Brigade Commander is a M-14 carbine with bayonet. Otherwise, you still doing a great job reviewing, even though it's an expensive job as a You-Tuber personality and GI Joe collector.
Rats. Updated comment: My bad. You corrected yourself when you reached his backpack and discovered the storage slits for the hook swords. Should have FINISHED watching your video before jumping the conclusion as an error. Bad me (slap) bad me!!!!
Man, want this so bad, I've never been able to afford it. Not to mention Joecon 2014 was the only convention I could attend. So it has value to me. But nice find bro!
+Professionally Unprofessional Reviews - As a matter of fact, this set happens to be on sale during the GIJoe Club Store's Winter sale right now! You may be able to pick it up on their site, and it is a pretty excellent sale price!
Ozone & Flint's helmet, looks more like Matt Trakker's Spectrum mask. Coincidental foresight, because they even did a G.I. JOE Special Edition of Trakker, being a G.I. JOE Weapons Specialist, like Tony Stark's Iron Man. But that's another story.
Great review. I wish the hoses were included for helmets which had backpacks with the top notch. In addition, a little constructive criticism: it would not be that hard to familiarize yourself with fairly common weapons and terminology for the review, i.e. MP5 PDW, M4 series, bullpup configuration, etc. Otherwise I really enjoyed it. The price point of 50th figs, convention figures, convention exclusives, et al, is what killed the toy line. By Hasbro pulling out of B&M stores, Hasbro declared these are not toys to be played with, but adult collectibles. Boss Fight Studios makes better figures for lower cost. Great set, greed drives everything I guess!
I thought about buying this set, but I felt it was a bit overpriced. The briefcases (such as come with Clean Sweep) I think should have a metal hinge, as that plastic piece is going to break after several openings. Altogether, the set looks decent, though after seeing this review, I'm glad I passed it up. Too pricey for what you get here IMHO.
Ben Onyejekwe No, I've never seen any others I felt strongly about. Plus they're always going for ridiculous prices that even if I was interested, I couldn't justify paying.
I got mine from the G.I.Joe Collector's Club. You can start by checking there. eBay has always been a good go-to source, and there are usually some good trades or sells happening in many of the forums around. (YoJoe, HissTank, etc.) BigBadToyStore or BriansToys have these sets on occasion too. Good hunting!
All you need now is the toxo lab, this set looks badass
While I don't like zombies or the pop culture zombie phenomena this set is well detailed
Great set! One I wish I had. Just can’t afford what it’s demanding. So I’ll live vicariously through your review. 😆 nice review bud!
The smg for clean sweep is called a mp5k which is chambered in 9mm
I’m in Love with this toys

Heckler & Koch MP-5K a real classic SMG!
