Franks was the definition of "Laid back" in his sound, vocals, arrangements, etc...Such a signature sound..you knew it was him every song and as ya noted, very likable.

My oldest brother turned me on to Michael Franks many moons ago. I also had the pleasure of seeing him perform at the KOOL Jazz Festival in NYC back in the late 1970's

Love this song. It used to be on my mix tape romance playlist. It sets the mood just right. It was on heavy rotation back in the MTV days, way back in the 2oth century.
