As a psychiatrist, I have worked with men who have done much research (internet specifically) on ways to increase testosterone or what low testosterone looks/feels like, this information is often given by people like Kinobody. Often times, after getting test done by an endocrinologist, they come back with regular/normal testosterone levels which surprises them because so-and-so said x,y,z were signs of low testosterone. After running mental health screenings and other tests, often times men have mental health issues such as depression, mood/personality disorders, ADHD or autism that shows the same signs as having low testosterone. As serious as having too low or too high testosterone levels are, I feel often times only attributing men’s problems physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually to testosterone causes a tarp to be put over other very serious problems like mental illness, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular or even reproductive health issues.
Yes, but are “normal” testosterone levels the average level, or are they an actually normal level which is healthy? I’ve heard (take this with a grain of salt) that testosterone levels have been decreasing significantly over the past several decades.
@@orppranator5230 It's a well studied phenomenon. Testosterone levels have dropped by a whole 15% since 1985, more if you look further back. I completely agree with the original comment that men far too often assume their issues stem from testosterone and aught to get a therapist. I have one myself, and I would suggest men everywhere to get a male therapist as all other men I know have had far better experiences with them empathizing and understanding our perspectives without getting defensive. With that being said, I simply cannot believe that the massive reduction in testosterone across time does not contribute to the ongoing mental health crisis among young men considering its significant role in male mental health. It doesn't have to be either-or, it can be both.
@@orppranator5230 There has been claims and studies done to show that testosterone has decreased in men over the years, yes but not so much as to say men are now having actually low testosterone levels. Men’s levels of testosterone can lower over decades, while still balancing out to become normal for majority of men. These decreases in testosterone have been linked to things such as sediment lifestyles, high stress levels, obesity, depression, diabetes, etc. However, we cannot keep telling men that they are having problems simply because they have low testosterone and that be it. Low testosterone can be a symptom of, but not the cause for everything. Generally, there is a range for normal testosterone as with every hormone or even neurotransmitters. Some days are too much, others low but overall are normal which would make them healthy. We can’t say “Oh, because a man cannot get erect he has low testosterone.” When he could simply be stressing, not mentally there or just doesn’t have interest. I feel too that linking high testosterone to being an ‘alpha’ or a ‘man man’ only creates even more problems for men in general psychologically and physiologically.

10/10 ad placement there! And yes, you should review more of this mad persons stuff!
You’re very good Mike, sometimes I can’t discern your satire from the truth. But the reality is Kinobody gives solid advice: lift heavy on compounds, do rest pause/hypertrophy on isolation, eat 1-2 big meals per day. Lift 3 days a week. Walk everyday. I mean this all sounds healthy and efficient for the average dude
Thank you, Dr. Mike, this video was very informative and entertaining😊
Thank you Kurt angle!
I remember Philion roasting Kinobody back in the day. Watching Doc now is equally as entertaining 😂
13:38 was gold 🤣🤣 that plug was the best
I remember when I first saw his video with the lambo headlight burned out, I thought the video was satire
I'm sure he definitely owns this house and car! Lol
@@BrofUJu He makes videos all the time in that house, I think he actually inherited it from his father who was a pretty rich guy. He's made enough money over the years to afford a house of similar size. I don't know if he owns the lamborghini though.
@@playboss101 ah, so he's just a privileged asshole, lol
@@playboss101 I think he owns a 911, but he did say he owned a Lamborghini Urus, can't say if thats true but he sure can afford it.
@@BrofUJuHe actually owes them. Though for years implied that he "earned" everything he has through his powerful mindset/body and if you bought his program/classes you could have it all. It's that easy. What he left out was his dad was a real estate model who died and left everything to him and his mom. He even denied using his dad's money after people found out and claimed he was "self made." He was one of the top fitness personalities for a while until most people used their brain
I'd love to see a Kinobody review part 2, discussing more of his actual training advice. Personally I think Kinobody is an example of someone who has ridiculous marketing that's easy to poke fun at, but he also has pretty solid training advice in the scheme of things, and programs that work well for a lot of people.
Agree. His advice is extremely practical for dudes who just want to look great naked with minimal lifestyle interruption that the more "bodybuilding" themed gurus can't provide.
Marketing is cringe but his target audience is college kids and it works extremely well. If anything, Greg has a future in the marketing industry.
I'm new to this channel, this is great!!!! Don't ever change!! 😅
oh boy kinobody. let's enjoy this one
I took his supplements and you'd be amazed at how much scattered ass that gets thrown at me the moment I leave the house... I'm bustin nuts every hour! 😂
Hope so, it's the only form of training that worked for me long term ( that I could stick to) and it's worked very well. I tried many other styles, nothing else worked long term.
Like most influencers the lambo and house are very likely leased.
@@rhetorical1488that’s his dad wealths Lmaoo wdym
@@jjjjz9811 lol could very well be daddys munay but its still leased. there is a certain lack of maintenance visible in the video, a tell tale sign
Is his headlight out at 9:40? That’s Big Altima Energy.
Thanks for the versagrips, daddi!
Bro he got me this time with the RP hypertrophy placement
Yep. Gold Standard
The perfectly placed jump cut to the RP app ad kills me everytime. Good job scott
PLEASE do more!!! This was great
Bro those versa grip thing commercials are amazing. Thank you
4:14 Anyone else get that American psycho feeling the way this is shot
top tier roasting, had no clue who kinobody is but definitely want more commentary videos on his content 😂
Nobody’s heard of him in the last 4 years or so. He was mildly popular years ago but his trust fund won’t allow him to just go tf away
He was pretty big back when intermittent fasting wasn't that popular. Right now he has lost lots of viewership. And is just trying to sell his stuff.
@@playboss101his clothing line is actually awesome. The first form fitting shirts and pants I’ve gotten that actually feel good and are high quality. His marketing and persona may be funky, but his stuff works 💪
Dude, you are the man. Have been waiting for a critique of kino for long time. Well done.
The versagrip placement absolutely killed me!!! That water part had me dying! 😂
10s from the back I'm dying 😂 15:42
Yesssss we needed this video 😂😂😂
Yes, keep going on kinobody please. That was so fun😂
I can tap the like button on this video 3 times a minute
Those are rookie numbers
Def need more on Kinobody🔥
