One thing about bismuth: it adds a "elemental modifier" to all rares in the map. And as we know - more modifiers on rares, more loot. So actually if you are strong enough, its worth clicking bismuth asap in your map.
Maxing out the mining area is the best thing to do first. It matches your ore with a gold bonus increasing the reward from doing the in map events. I dont think i heard this mentioned in the video at all.
In my short time with the mappers. I found that if they don't 100% the map you get next to nothing. So you want the best people you can get doing maps that have the highest % of completion. I think a lvl 1 normal non magic/rare map that's 100% completed is better then a lvl 5 rare map that's only 20%.. Found a couple cluster jewels worth 30-60c just for the base.

I've unlocked everything at tier 11. Other than for the rares you get off shipments and gambling, so far everything is a huge waste of time. Add to that that red maps are very unrewarding with the changes to item quantity and rarity on mobs and div card drop rates... and it's starting to feel like the least rewarding league in a long while.
yesterday I got a disconnection in the middle of the fight to rescue my ship. I do agree that we should take down bosses from full life to zero, but no being able to retry the fight is horrible. RIP shipment :V
Anyone done the science on gold efficiency of higher tier workers? What level miner requires the least amount of Gold to process a fixed amount of ore for example? Intuitively it should be the highest rank but maybe you're paying a gold premium for the speed
For your map running, I would suggest only putting maps in there with a chance to complete 100% of the map. That expected completion percentage is based on how much of the map they will complete, not the chance of completing the entire map. Even white maps yield way better results than what you showed. Also, you only have two map runners. If you have a full team go in, that number will greatly increase. As I'm watching more, I see that it was a possibility that you had two mappers die lol Good video for sure though. A lot of info.
Amazing clip but there's one thing that is not accurate... 23:28 you're talking about the secret boss and you said "if you die you're locked out", that's not true I died a couple times and been able to get back in and continue the fight. So it's either how you said and I was somehow bugged or they have changed it and now you can go in even if you die.
The mapping isn't bad, but don't run maps with 0% chance of getting 100% completion I've had 1 div and about 30c running rare t2's. i agree that people dying is definately not the 1% advertised. I've lost 2 over about 50 all with a 1% chance. Nice video!
The itens you get from the shipment have good odds of being at least decent, im not sure if i got lucky but im curently using a glove and helmet that i got from there and sold a chest for 50c. So imo its not that bad to sent metal bars on it.
If u run T1 maps u at 100% completion u get better rewards than if u run T10 at 15%. I personally think its only worth if they can complete the entire Map.

I got them running t5s with a few upgrades and they get barely anything its fun though
@@epyjacek i send lvl 5+ map runners off on scoured white maps and they have a 95% mortality rate and have never once finished a map
@@epyjacek They're pretty useless
yesterday I got a disconnection in the middle of the fight to rescue my ship. I do agree that we should take down bosses from full life to zero, but no being able to retry the fight is horrible. RIP shipment :V
Could use a QoL adjustment
@@PathofEvening I forgot to tell in the last comment, your video helped a lot with the types of rewards from ships! thx
Anyone done the science on gold efficiency of higher tier workers? What level miner requires the least amount of Gold to process a fixed amount of ore for example? Intuitively it should be the highest rank but maybe you're paying a gold premium for the speed
Following
god im loving this league mechanic
Excellent!
do bars or other crafted things have a hard cap or is it possible to produce unlimited and have a unending storehouse?
No cap!
100 km = about 62 miles
We use those wild measurements here
For your map running, I would suggest only putting maps in there with a chance to complete 100% of the map.
Yep, 2 died and Llarold didn't feel like recruiting more at the time.
@@PathofEvening haha fair enough.
“I’m going to teach you how to make currency and be rich”, he says while leaving tons of currency on the ground lol
Step 1: Stop picking up everything. Speed is essential.
Oh, interesting!
Brought to you by the guy that was the worst worker at every job he's had. 😂
Indeed
The mapping isn't bad, but don't run maps with 0% chance of getting 100% completion I've had 1 div and about 30c running rare t2's. i agree that people dying is definately not the 1% advertised. I've lost 2 over about 50 all with a 1% chance. Nice video!
We learned more since making the video
I think that the last update they have changed that Idle workers still cost gold
Nope.
Feel super bad when ships get robbed.
Oh yea
55 dust for 2x returns, 520 for 2.5x returns, about 5250 for 3x returns btw...
Word.
Fun fact: The map runners are based on the skill of the average PoE player.
That's right
since food returns currency, wouldn't you focus solely on only sending out food? since everyone wants more currency?
Only if the place you're trading with requests it (to get the most benefit and return)
The itens you get from the shipment have good odds of being at least decent, im not sure if i got lucky but im curently using a glove and helmet that i got from there and sold a chest for 50c.
So imo its not that bad to sent metal bars on it.
Unfortunately, currency rewards right now are VERY lacking
@@jordi6153 Well, I've seen LOTS and I mean LOTS of screenshots of players getting back divines. So It sounds like you are just having bad RNG.
Sending out food is good, but there's a justification for sending out everything depending on the bounty at the ports.
Just sprinkle some magic dust (crack) on your crops when shipping
Pretty much!
expedition gives ok gold..get from some mobs and chests as well.
true
Just subbed good stuff Here
Thank you! We appreciate you!
don't think of this as darkest dungeon - you wanna use your workers then throw them away when they're no longer useful. - pick one.
ok
If u run T1 maps u at 100% completion u get better rewards than if u run T10 at 15%. I personally think its only worth if they can complete the entire Map.
Yeah, that lines up.
Best way to get a lot of gold is to let ur ships be captured and kill the pirate boss, it gives you 46k and he's easy.
Max out risk and do the short shipping routes or long ones?
@@theragingkirbz2168 if you rly want the gold then do short ones so you can try it more often and with high risk, I haven't tested it yet cuz I dont need that gold asap, doing it now. but it is easiest and fastest gold you can get
Supposedly risk doesn't impact boss spawns, so spamming shorter trips to get more is probably the best approach.
Imagine dieing to a tornado :D (Melee build with 90% block laughing at them)
They nerfed it about an hour after this video went out! 😁
Did I miss the Part with how to make the divines?
Seems that you did.
If you play 24/7, yeah max rank makes sense. For casuals the rank 1 army puts in some work for slave wages.
true
Not even close to uograding this fully lol. Im struggling to get through maps. Danb things wont drop the right ones. Been lucky on orbs of horizon
RNG is fickle
I got the information from over 50 shipments that when I go even near the 10+% mark with risk its always a bad event that kills my entire or 50% of the rewards, happend every single time so far except when I stay under 10% risk then nothing happens ever....guess my good luck.
RNG is RNG!
red map mappers gets really good, i'm getting most of my bubblegum currency from them with the occasional stack of chaos / divine surprise
Excellent!
Oh yeah, I feel executive. My navigator team got back from a 5% chance of getting into trouble and got scammed for 75% of the product. Everyone under the bridge! Yeah.
Buy! Sell! Downsize!
🤣
Amazing video
Thank you!
My Sanctum build kinda forced into mapping for this mechanic == quite suck but it is wat it is i guess
Unlucky
Is there a better way to farm Corn, weath, pumpkin etc?
put higher level people on em
Bingo
Ya need higher level map runners or else they will bite the dust lol. Try 4x Level 8 map runners
Expensive!
55 dust is double value, and like 5500 is triple. No need to go more than that
Fair enough.
You should run maps that give you 1% chance to die especially while the mapping device hasn't been leveled up. Your issue in relation to that is brute forcing them into content above where they are at.
That is correct.
Weapon effect mtx?
Imperial Sun Weapon, old Supporter Pack item.
@@PathofEvening I mean the blue weapon effect
500 dust gives you like 90% of the gains
Yup, the diminishing returns fall off very fast.
PLEASE tell that one guy in global 9 about this T_T
lol
How is blight with the gold ?
Not great. takes additional time and low gold rewards.
Pretty much that.
Blighted maps are especially bad gold per hour
