Kinda weird how the boss gets his plans ruined by shadow at the last second and doesn’t react at all to it

Because even though shadow did ruin his plan he underestimated super sonics strength.
Basically the exiled didn't react to it because shadow kind of made it easier to destroy the emeralds because all their energy is now inside chips amulet now he just has to kill sonic and break it to unleash a massive chaos control and to continue his plan.
However it's not gonna be easy because it's super sonic he's against.
Also he was pretty close to breaking the bracelet as we could see him at 6:45 holding sonic with his one leg and trying to reach for the bracelet. If he would have stopped bad mouthing earth and gotten straight for the bracelet he would have won

I like how phase 2 despite being a proper Super Sonic boss fight is set on flat ground, so you wouldn’t be put in an endangered situation should you run out. This is unlike most SuperSonic boss fights where you are in space, above water or high above the groind
It does take away from the intensity though, in those fights, you *know* that if you run out of rings, you lose, or in Frontiers, where you know you instantly get ahniliated if Super Sonic runs out, so it's probably worse here.
I actually like the idea that they are on the ground, and it's an up close and personal slug out between Sonic and exiled metarix.

It does take away from the intensity as I said, since you won't instantly lose if you go out of Super form.
You do lose if you run out, it’s just instant instead of falling.
For a fan game this looks so freaking good

I got to admit bad or good sonic last omens beginning cutscene and story motivation is near perfect
I actually love the mechanic for Super Sonic. Building speed when the rings run out for a burst of more is really cool.

Well technically Chip wasn't gone forever remember he's Light Gaia he's Immortal it's just that breaking the band meant Sonic lost the only way for Chip to be with him.

Ngl. I loved Sonic X and i altmost shed a tear when i hear the Sonic X melody remixed. I knew this was gonna be about the emeralds getting destroyed, but the fact that they added Sonic X to the plot took me by surprise

Never really paid attention before but like...the emeralds usually have a way of getting restored....like dead ass Knuckles has shattered the Master emerald before.
I was thinking the same thing, the master emerald has been shattered atleast twice before and been restored. Sure as far as we know only knuckles can do it but those pieces are worth way to much to be left alone. They carry power on there own as we have seen in the past. As far as the emeralds idk if they could be restored but there isn't anything saying that they couldn't be.

imagine a boss like this in sonic frontiers,first form were facing him off as base sonic, with our base attack template. then the second phase would be where we play as super sonic and we have base sonic template for skills but isnt the concept just cool? exiled has cool atttacks and a cool deisgn and his size makes its so he can be agile so the game could actually feel hard. idk its justa cool concept from me

Pretty sure Frontiers Base Sonic would solo Exiled easily, Sonic has gotten stupidly OP recently, especially with games like Generations (restoring time and space by running) Forces (escaping Null Space + defeating Infinite) and Frontiers (literally everything)

Holy shit, the voice actor for Sonic gives Colours Roger a run for his money.
Also, I love how this game's main reason for being made was to explain why the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald aren't around anymore since unleashed, only for Frontiers to bring them back just a few months later. Fucking classic XD.
Even more problematic because it had a role in Generations.

Nah, Sonic's voice in this sounds like he has a stick up his butt.
It would be very convincing if Sonic Omens took place after Forces instead since they Chaos Emeralds would’ve been gone for 9YEARS at that point and thus would be more justifiable as to why Omens needed to explain the disappearance.
But given the game takes place after Unleashed and before Colours, the Chaos Emeralds had barely “disappeared”. Makes very little sense for them to make a big fuss of why it’s gone. UNLESS they’re just showing what happens to the chaos and master emerald that sets them up for their later disappearance. But since they were in generations, we’ll it didn’t wirk

The bracelet absorbed the chaos energy from the emeralds after shadow broke the machine. Then Sonic releases that energy back to the world when he shatters it
That was really a sad moment when he had to brake chips bracelet in order to start the emeralds restoration process

Despite how controversial this game was, the final boss is basically Sonic's equivalent of Metal Gear Rising's final boss especially with the boss music, at least in my opinion.

The cutscene could've use some work but other than that it really was a good game
They were able to do an update on the game, so when I replayed Omens, the cutscenes were fixed! At least they were listening to feedback.

How? That was the lamest boss fight I've ever seen. Dodge like two attacks then spam attack rinse repeat. Didn't look challenging or anything.
