The Sims 4 is so strange because sometimes your sim can squeeze through a space that’s 2 centimeters wide and other times they suddenly can’t move when there’s 82 miles of space between a couch and a fireplace 😂

And then sometimes they just walk right through a wall even though there's plenty of room, but won't stop yelling about how they can't use the easel because, I don't know, it's slightly too close to a plant lol
You should do a series that's like building your subscribers dream homes. People could leave comments on what their dream home is and you can build it off of that. That would be really interesting.

Definitely a dream home series where you attempt to build some of your subscribers dream homes! Have some basic info they provide and then you can just go for it. Bed/bath number, era/style, home world, single story/leveled, basic color palette, some ideas for the family members interests/hobbies. Then away you go! That would be really neat and would lead to a lot of community involvement!

You said you'd love to see a whole world of starter cubes... so hear me out... rennovate either Oasis Springs or Willow Creek but change every starter home to a starter cube while maintaining some of the aesthetics of the original lot? I'd love to see what you come up with!

I have always placed my oven and stove top on the same counter with no issues. They will even use the stove top to prepare food as if it were just a counter.
Love this cube. I think it would be fun to do a series where your subscribers/followers submit their homes for makeover/flip houses.
Deli I would love to see you build dream homes based on the different worlds/climates. Like a Tropical Dream home, Desert dream home, Winter dream home etc.
Or, you could base the home on the life stage of the Sims it's intended for, like a dream home for retired sims, or a dream home for a family with young children or pet lovers. No matter what you come up with, it's a big YES to dream homes from me. Love downloading them too and using them in my game ❤️
I love building tiny homes in this game, its a good challenge to see what you can come up with to maximize the space to best fit your sims. Love your content, I find a lot of inspiration from watching you. Thanks for sharing your awesomeness!
This is adorable and now I'm going to attempt starter cubes. I tend to make larger homes even if only one Sim is moving in. Then I go build something else and never play. LOL

Dream home series where you take your subscribers idea for they're dream home and attempt to make it! If you want you can go even further and attempt to connect with them in a call or something when it's done and see they're thoughts in the video and not just in a comment section.
Love this house! Cute, practical, and modern. Only thing is that I would change the back door (to the ladder) to not be glass, so that my bed can't be seen by neighbors or anyone outside. Love your videos because they inspire me to try building these things myself!
My work-self cries when you put the parasol/sun shade on top of the roof! It would fall and break with the smallest breeze and all my customers would complain 😂 "what, I can't do it like that? No one told me!" good thing the wind in the Sims can't do any damage 🥰
Deli, Aside from your amazing creativity, I LOVE listening to you talk. Your voice is like therapy to me. Very soothing. The way you pronounce your words is also pleasing to the ear. I find myself repeating words that you say out loud through your videos because I like the way things sound with an Australian accent. I, being American, have always been infatuated with Australian culture and lifestyle. You inspire me to be creative. You show us that if you continue to do what you love that it pays off. I am so excited every time I log into my sims that it shows you as a featured creator. Congratulations on all of your hard work and dedication. Thank you for inspiring and uplifting. oh man, that starter cube was one of my all time favorite sims 3 builds! I made a copy of it in almost every save I started 😂 funny I was just thinking about it the other day- so cool to see an updated version!

This was such a cute build. And yes, sims can use the corner counters to cook and prepare food. Sometimes I put the microwave in the corner.
Deli, I’d love a new series where you build your favourite Grand Designs builds/designs, attempt to build it in the Sims 4 and change the things you don’t like about it. You could talk us all through it!

My current appointment I moved in found food in the fridge and pantry all open and half used lol so yes it happens lol
Can confirm: People leave random stuff behind when moving out. When we bought our house the previous owners tried to leave a broken recliner in the attic, and they did leave some random vases in a cabinet. About a year after we found a random picture stuffed into one of the drawers as well.
I just moved and I found a half used bar of soap in the shower 😢
I love ❤ when Bowser sneaks in and falls asleep and snores! It’s so precious!
I also love ❤️ whenever you and James drops into each other’s videos! Like when I was watching James and DrGluon doing their “Rags to Riches” Burger Boys series and you popped in!

I usually make gigantic homes, but I've just started getting into tiny houses. I took the starter cube and turned it into a refurbed, simple living farmhouse! Super fun challenge!
Defo a dream home series!!! It would be amazing if you could stream again as it was so fun working together on it and chatting - It was therapy!
They can cook on a corner counter, it's something I've done in every tiny house I've made.
Or rather, they can if they can cook at all. I tossed a brand new randomized sim into my tiny build to playtest it and he immediately set the stove on fire. Luckily I had saved just before I started playtesting so I could close without saving and not lose any progress.
Love if you made a starter cube for every place; the surrounding area looks. Like a breath island bungalow for Sulani, an adventures cabin for the jungle one, one that looks like Klamping For the woods one.
Another great build! I'd love to see you go through the buy/build at random and choose a bunch of items and you have to base your build around them.

I have an idea for a build, making like a “subdivision” or neighborhood on the biggest lot. You could build several houses and a road/driveway to each house. I think it would be cool for a legacy challenge and you want the whole family together. I’d use it! 😂

It might be fun to make sort of a 'series' of cubes, each with a different pack. I'm thinking smaller ones like stuff packs or kits, if they're 'rich' enough, but others would be cool too. So then we'd have moschino cube (probbaly for a photographer sim), paranormal cube, jungle adventure cube, parenthood cube,...

When you said you wanted to create a village of starter cubes, you made me think of the Weißenhofsiedlung here in Germany. That’s a village that has been constructed under the supervision of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. That village is made of multiple white, modern, bauhaus builds. Super interesting, I recommend everyone to look into !!
I actually often do a 1x1 custom shower room using the clear door and moveobjects. The Sim can use it easily. I usually use the Snowy Escape shower. Also as for weird things being left in a house, I moved into where I'm living now and the previous resident had left a ham in the fridge. It was gone off and totally gross.
I've been watching you since Sims 3, about a year before TS4 came out...and I watched James about a year longer.
The original starter cube was the video that introduced deli to me!!!!!

I loved this! The colours work so well and I really love how you managed to work that orangey wood throughout - I never use that wood shade but you made it look so good!
Also I love the starter cube idea of being more open plan, I might try this myself!

It is actually the first cube I watch because I have only been following you for a few months but I really love and it actually looks like it would be so nice and easy to play in. Also, I am totally up for a new dream house, there is never enough.
When we moved into my childhood home in the 90s, the previous owners left a lot of "treasure" in the basement and the shed. I'm not sure we ever even emptied it out either. The shed had yard tools and some sleds with metal runners and the basement had some wood working equipment, extra paint, and stuff like that.
As far as I know, sims can in fact prepare food on inner corner counters! At least according to a simsie video from some time ago when I learned that!

Your idea for a starter cube village reminds me of when you were trying to build 5 (or maybe more) homes on one lot on your twitch channel several years ago. You built yourself one and James one, but I don’t remember you doing any more. I think it would be so cool to revisit that!

We have a spoon that was left in the dishwasher by the previous owners. It is the best spoon for filling tamales! I don’t know what about it makes it better than ours.

Id love to see a glass house challenge! the sunroof made me think of the saying "those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." so how would you go about building a home in the sims where all the exterior walls and roof are glass
You should do a survey and build the results. For example the first question is style of home the second how many bedrooms, 3rd how many bathrooms, 4th open living or seperated rooms or cramped, 5th style of decor, 6th colour theme, 7th world to build in etc who knows what you would end up building?!

Deli i been around since that starter home i made that u said was for an indian sim and u was utilising the hell out of create a pattern. I feel like that was ur USP back in the day. You kind of inspired me to be more explorative with that tool and challenge myself to use more colours.

I've been really inspired to do shell challenges lately so I'm really excited to do this starter cube and see what I come up with!
I think the OG starter cube was a little before I subbed but I remember the build because i remember loving the couch 😆 Also, totally down for more dream home builds. I definitely have many different styles and versions of dream homes. My authentic mid century turquoise kitchen wouldn’t go with my Tudor exterior so they need their own homes. I also want a 40s themed sage green kitchen so that’s another house 😌
The family before us left some coupons, measuring cups, and the public works calendar I assume so we could figure out our garage day. I thought it was really sweet

if you can only have a bathroom as internal walls, put it in a space that makes other spaces. like on the corner near the door then a bedroom behind it so its cosy and feels private 😊 still open plan and no rules broken 🤷♂️

You could always build your viewers' dream homes. They send you a mood board or Pinterest board and you make your own version of it in the Sims?
@Deligracy About the dream home idea....what if you took ideas for a dream home from your viewers? Basic wishlists like # of bedrooms/bathrooms, size of the family, and special requests. Maybe they could even set a budget for you. You could even do this on stream (since you recently mentioned streaming on RUclips) and have the person in chat so they can give you feedback or answer questions that might come up. Could be fun!

this is so cute, i want to build a tiny cube now! i never understood why tiny living didn't come with a single tile shower or one of those toilets where the sink is in the cistern. the stuff in that pack is a wild mix of huge and tiny, odd.
Edit: you can actually use the dream home decorator oven and hob together, you may need moo, but if you add the oven first and then the hob it works. Hob then oven seems to block the oven out for some reason
My dream home:
A small tree house in a forested area. 1 bedroom, one bath. I would want at least a 3 seater couch and two fully accessible counter tops (corner counter doesn't count imo). The bedroom and bathroom can be small but storage is a priority, so like, no pedistool sinks. I would also like a built in closet, and a sky light above the bed. I like bright colors, mixing patterns, and odd art.
My PC went kaput around the time they released tiny living and I haven't been able to fix/replace it yet so I'm just hoping someone will build it and I can live vicariously through them 😅

You should try do a futuristic dream build! For what youd imagine for yourself in 20/30 years. It'd be alot of fun trying to guess what would be considered 'modern' in the future 😄

I love the Murphy bed but I never use it cuz I’m to afraid of it killing my sims. That would happen to me a lot when I used it in the sims 2.
You can place the dream home decorator stove and oven on the same counter! The look of the stove glitches a bit, but it works perfectly fine :) I do it all the time because if I place them next to each other it looks so weird to me
My Sims can never use the oven whenever I do that- even with the moveobjects cheat 🥲
I can definitely place them on the same counter, just can't use the oven.
Sims can definitely cook on corner counters if anyone's wondering 😊

I can confirm that people leave weird things when they sell their house. My sister just bought a house and the people who sold it left a couple shelving units, a bookcase, their washer and dryer, a whole silverware set, a microwave, and a little plug in night light. Probably more that I don't remember.
