Unable to be blocked, attacks cause splash damage
[Creation Destruction] After a long period of battle, will cause arts splash damage, and deduct health point to all our units in the field
1st Phase:
Teleport to every period of time to next checkpoint
[Foolish Punishment] Every time a certain percentage of health lost, two of our operators will be devoured and two locations will be randomly selected for deployment.
[Foolish Punishment] will periodically target two of our operators within the attack range. "Seal of Sluggishness" (requires 5 damage to breaks the seal), making unable to attack, release skills, and more vulnerable to enemy attacks. The next time this skill is released, the operator on the field that has been attached with the "Seal of Sluggishness" will be forcibly knocked down, and arts splash damage will be caused to 4 blocks around it. After being knocked down for the first time, it will be redeployed, and it will deal damage to all our units on the field.
2nd Phase:
Switches to the second form and resets the [Creation Destruction] timer. The second form cannot move and generates a one-way defensive shield to resist physical and arts damage
The attack range is expanded to the entire battlefield, the attack power is greatly reduced, the attack splash range is expanded, and the defense power is greatly improved
Seize command and invalidate all "tuning nodes" on the field
·[King's Edict] Periodically control the variation; during the variation, the enemy's attributes are strengthened and the rhythm of the orchestra is continuously detected. Enemies that are stunned and fail to keep up with the Witch King's rhythm will be marked. At the end of the variation, they will be punished with high arts damage.

I absolutely adore that while everyone in Leithanien uses instruments as arts units, the Witch King essentially uses a conductor’s baton as a weapon.
Well more like the Magic Hitler Simp Club is hot on that (presumably in keeping with their idol's supervillain motifs), saner Leiths are rather less monomaniacal.

@@TChunky from what im gathering they mean the spire casters and their peers who wanted to resurrect the Witch King use batons or adjacent items, while everyone else is more directly instrumental
unless I misinterpreted, honestly the first message slightly broke my brain reading the first time but it makes more sense when you re-read it a few times

I really love how the boss affects the music in his phase 2 theme!
Here's what he does the music from what I observed:
Yellow Note (Variant): Adds Opera Singers/Choir band, dubstep beats, and amplifies the theme
Blue Note (Imperial): Amplifies the piano and adds an old record filter
Rather than a radio... i wonder if its meant to simulate a record player?

The music changing during phase 2 is so fing cool.

adding the music theory in the boss' second phase is so outstanding especially the tempos
ive never seen such beautiful bossfight that uses music arts into full action like that in a game mechanic

His phase 2 boss theme has that similar Calm/Combat feeling of Ultrakill, when the bar is purple the music sounds calmer but once the bar changes to orange that's where the dubstep comes in
And when its neither of them it goes neutral

It’s an interesting mechanism, but if it is random, its better to retreat the operator after they teleport since it may mess the placements up.
Personally, it’s just seems like a lighter insta-kill but with extra steps.

Texas and Kirito didn't existed when we fought Kreide.
Nowadays HG started making story mode boss toned down for novice players to clear too. I'm pretty sure they're going to make us fight the boss on steroids on ex stages, especially the cm mode.😅

Fuck knows what's up with that guy anyway given by all accounts he _really_ pushed the envelope of what you can do with Arts and "reincarnating" him in even a very distant blood relative is an actual prospect, as poor Kreide could attest. I understand the Empresses and their loyalists are dedicating a nontrivial amount of energy and resources to keeping that kind of supervillain nonsense in check.

It's Yato Alt and Texas Alt, the most broken two ops in the game.
All mechanics become irrelevant when they are only on the stage for 5 seconds or less at a time.
