Ive been watching through all of the spider man tv shows and was surprised to see him show in spider man 2017, also swarm has one of the best original concepts in comics imo
He has been recycled in the Spiderman animated series as the alternate identity of Miles Morales's father. He got sick of the violence in his neighborhood associated with Spiderman so he was coerced into undergoing a genetic experiment to have the power to get rid of him. The revelation that one of these versions of Spiderman was Miles and in return Miles was shocked that swarm was his dad taxed them both. His current whereabouts are unknown
As much as I love everything that is old school Marvel, this makes the Whizzer's origin seem sane and normal. Still enjoyed it though. Happy Times and Places (and yes that was a Marvel reference there, sort off...)
The first time I saw this character was on an episode of Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends. He would zap people with a ray that would place them under his control. Plus, they would grow wings, and have insect-like eyes... All they would say was... Swarm .. Swarm...
When i did work on Swarm in my marvel universe i always intended for him to be female and be based on Doctor Tramma who ended up getting her neck broken by Norman osborn when he is injected with the goblin serum and would be brought back in a robotic humanoid Insect bee body that can break apart and turn into swarms of bees and be based on the tracker jackers from hunger games
I can just imagine Red Skull checking on the scientists like: "Alright, gentlemen. We are being defeated by a guy dressed like a flag, a guy on fire and a guy on a speedo with wings on his feet. What do you have to beat them?" and each of the scientists says their projects: "I have radiation!", "I have robots!", "I have vampires!" and Red Skull just tosses all of their projects away saying: "Idiots! None of this has worked. We need something new, something bizarre, something they could never expect!" and the guy in the back says: "How about bees?" and Red Skull slowly turns and yells: "YES!" lol
They’re gonna use Spot in SpiderVerse 2 as an antagonist, and considering one of the first six Spider People literally fights Nazis, adding Swarm in SpiderVerse 2 would be a good fit.
I think people tend to "make fun" of Swarm, but I always liked this dude. Why? Well, I'm a late 70s baby, 80s kid. So when this guy popped up on my favorite shoe as a kid, SPIDER-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS, and gave him this eerie, kinda scary, voice: SWWWWAAAAARRRMMMM..... SWWWWWAAAAARRRMMM"...... 😆 it was one of my favorite episodes (despite its now insanely silly, TOO childlike evil scheme lol)
I had never heard of swarm before. Now they're releasing him as a villain in Marvel Strike Force so I wanted to find out about him. Of course he's a Nazi why would they come out with any other type of villain.
He would be an excellent Ant-Man villain in the MCU.
He and whirlwind both
Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends cartoon from 1981. Episode 4 called “Swarm.”
Well he's now one of marvels forgotten characters but he is a cool character and has an interesting concept
They added him in a game called Marvel Strike Force

He was one of my favorites in the 80’s spider man and his amazing friends.
I was just about to mention that classic Spider-Man and his amazing friends episode on this post. You beat me to it.

The Red Ghost and his Super Apes might be a funfuture topic.
I like this character lol. He's/she's pretty cool. Very interesting character.

Only John Byrne could draw this in the 70’s...
Nick Cage: **[Fear intensifies]**

Nicolas Cage voicing Spider-Man Noir seeing Swarm: "Oh no... not the bees."
Swarm is definitely one of my favorite spider-man villains, he’s so cool!!!
I would have preferred if swarm was actually made of wasps since I generally think wasps are scarier than bees
70's headlines, Killer bees coming up from South America and Nazis in Argentina. Marvel editors: yes, we can do something with that!
I think people tend to "make fun" of Swarm, but I always liked this dude. Why? Well, I'm a late 70s baby, 80s kid. DC Nighthawk: Bees. My God.
He has another animated appearance, in Marvel’s Spider Man Maximum Venom 🐝
They remade him as miles dad in a show
Bees, my god.
In first avengers there is a nazi named Fritz and I am thinking it is most likely Fritz Klaue but I think it could possibly be Fritz Von Meyer
I had never heard of swarm before. Now they're releasing him as a villain in Marvel Strike Force so I wanted to find out about him. Of course he's a Nazi why would they come out with any other type of villain.
Super annoyed we could have had a complete sinister six team if they added kraken instead but no instead we get this foo
This is definitely the guy in Wanda vision
Lol
Or just an A.I.M. grunt
"A Nazi skeleton covered in bees!"
As a person who takes a special liking to bees... wtf?
“ Swarm ! Swarm ! All work for Swarm ! “

His one weakness, a can of Raid.
