The best part I love about Titania is her fear of Spider-Man in general. Not Venom, not man-spider; just regular Spider-Man. To me, that’s freaking hilarious! I can just imagine Spider-Man going up to her and yelling, “Ooga Booga Booga!” Titania would flip out and scream like Courage the Cowardly Dog. Sounds hilarious doesn’t it?
Who would have guessed spider man could make a perfect horror movie monster.

Mary wanted to be a bully all her life but until she became Titania she could only ever dream of doing that because she is in some ways a coward. Of course a guy who constantly cracks jokes and does not seem to be intimidated by anyone or anything would throw her off her game. She realised that she couldn't bully him and that made her lose ALL determination she had at the time because she ultimately has no self-confidence.
Looking at her origins, she could've EASILY become a hero too. Wow
My favorite aspect of the character is her relationship with Absorbing Man

Remarkable spotlight. I didn't know Titania had that much history in the pages of Marvel. I'm really excited to see what Jameela Jamil brings to the role, and what direction the show takes the character. It's cute that as of now She Hulk and Titania have become friendemies.

She brought nothing to table. She’s virtually nothing like her comic counterpart. And Jameela Jamil doesn’t care that the show sucks or is unfaithful to the comics. It’s disgraceful.

Alas, the series got overlooked and overhated.
They're the bad eggs, the bad seeds, the fruit of the poisoned tree. The entire world kicked them down but they refused to not be happy, even if they've got to be the bad guys. They've got each other, and that's all that will ever matter.
Out of all the videos I've watched of yours so far, this one was the most sad.
Titania needs a win.
I think a good idea moving forward would be putting the series and issue number in front of the panels on screen; or even timestamping each panel in the description would be helpful.

@@yungntoxicnetwork94 He literally provides sources for these comics in the description of all of his video, so it's pretty obvious he wants his viewers to actually find them. So why not make it easier for said viewers he's already trying to help by giving them direct reference to these sources.

I always think of her as She-Hulk's arch nemesis. She is a great cannon fodder villain anytime some muscle is needed. I never realized just how many appearances she has made across the Marvel Universe.
Now you have piqued my curiosity for a Julia Carpenter Spidet-Woman video. She has had a lot of changes since she first appeared.
And don't forget RED NORVELL the red headed Thor stand in. I'm still campaigning for him to get a video.

I always thought the creators of the character really got their irony out with the name...and the character design ableit with a certain spin on the pronunciation of her moniker.

The relationship between her and The Absorbing Man is actually pretty cool. They’re one of the few villain couples who have actually stayed together (And are still married .).
How many Scourges are/were there anyway?
As of 1993 there were at least seven, not all of which have been identified. Scourge is more of an organization than an individual.
I have the original secret wars series from the 80's where Spiderman whooped her ass.
@@ahwayzcool4630 - Yeah, strangely Titania had more of a grudge against the She-Hulk for her beating her than she did against Peter. Peter basically humiliated her when he beat her .
Let's note that Mary from a very young age had wished to become someone else. The fantasies she had of herself gaining superpowers as she was reading the comics, as depicted here, show her ABUSING those powers to make the people she's very clearly envious of suffer...while it's understandable why she'd feel this way after years of neglect, isolation, bullying and poverty, it's also no excuse for how she behaves later. A minor example is that she lied to her best and only friend at the time because it was a way for her to feel better about herself but it's also clear that Marsha would have cared for her even if she didn't think that Mary was Spider-Woman. By the time Mary's become Titania, when she gets back at Vanessa Ashwood she's not even registering that it's Vanessa because by that point she's clearly envious of Jennifer Walters and has shifted her entire attention towards her.

It might be interesting to cover all the Spider Women: The Spider-Queen from WWII, Jessica Jones, Julia Carpenter, May Day Parker, Anya Sofia Corazon, Spider-Gwen, Anya Sofia Corazon, Claire Parker. There are enough to have a female "into the Spiderverse".

It's always the bad choices that lead someone down the path of super baloney. Marie didn't have to lie to even her best friend. And she's lucky that she forgave her for that. I can't help but wonder if dooms machines also brought the dark side in Mary's personality. How does one go from worshiping superheroes to becoming a super villain?

Yeah, because accepting powers from Dr. Doom or any supervillain is always a good idea and always ends well! 😏
I mean, she gained superstrength and a lot of self-confidence and as far as we can tell Dr. Doom didn't treat her badly (he did put a device on her at one point that turned her fear of Spider-Man into rage though) or demanded her to do things she'd be unwilling to do. He never bothered to make her life miserable. She did that on her own.
Just like Titania, can you do history of Marvel's She-Hulk villains like Nicholas Trask, The Grappler, Robert Doom, Clockwise, Ultima, The Living Eraser, The American Purity Foundation, Adrenazon, Spragg the Living Hell, Behemoth and Volcana?

I don't understand how she-hulk was able to slap Titania around so easily. At the time, Titania could lift 85 tons and She-hulk could lift 75 tons. I can see Shulkie beating Titania, but not just one punching her out of the zip code.

While Mary is much stronger, Peter had the advantage of speed, agility, reflexes, spider-sense, and fighting experience against bigger and stronger foes like Juggernaut and Hulk.

It’s rather depressing how cool Titania is (Btw I thought it was pronounced Titania like the wife of Oberon and Queen of the Fairies) and seeing how virtually nothing alike her MCU counterpart. She’s not even a well developed character in her own right in the She Hulk show. That show is worse than Batwoman.

Marvel simply has better villains than DC. With the exception of a handful, their’s aren’t as powerful or nearly as iconic as the “Distinguished Competition’s.” No, where Marvel’s villains excel is in their humanity. There’s almost always something there to make them at least vaguely sympathetic. Would say Marvel could do a series, on +Disney, about the low rent villains who’re just trying to make a dishonest buck in the MCU. They pretty much showed how that can work, with the Vulture, in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Imagine a series from the POV of a character/characters like that. Where it’s not about domination or revenge. It’s about highly flawed characters just trying to get paid.

I'm sorry but Batman's rogue's gallery alone blows any villain characters that Marvel could come up with out of the water. They're simply more psychologically complex than most Marvel villains.

Another villain w/ the cliched sad tragic abusive/bullied background. Doom's machine must have included some kind of empathic component to endow Skeeter w/ the exact kind of power she wanted.
Also while reading one of her issues it just seemed weird and kinda inappropriate (though not unique I guess) to have She-Hulk and Titania calling each other by their real names while fighting.
