That little moment at 20min is very telling. The people that have never fought will not understand, but I believe every fighter has a constant push-pull, bitter-sweet relationship with boxing. The titles and the accolades are so appealing and drive every fighter to be the best, but the daily pressure and physical struggles of being a boxer are not healthy for the fighters. I've had 16 amateur fights and counting and every once in a while, I breakdown like Jared did, wondering if it's all really worth it. While all of your friends are relaxing, drinking, going out, and having fun, fighters have to stay so rigid and go through pressure no one but fighters have felt. No matter how many sparring sessions or fights a boxer has had, the deep pressure that a human feels before combat is unmatched. People don't realize fighters constantly think about quitting, but continue to push on towards their dreams because they would feel empty if they didn't go for it. It can be sad to not be able to let go. Jared knows he can't let go, and he won't. But once he retires, which by the way he's talking about his career ("I want to be in and out") won't last too long, he will be so glad he did it, and will be remembered as the champ for generations, and hopefully will have the money to change his family and his community's life.

This was perfect for boxers all ages, I can tell sometimes my son feels overwhelmed and videos like this just showed him he’s not the only one

Roy is real like that......I had the amazing chance to meet him and pick his brain for a few, and once the star dust wore off I was astonished with his humility. Great video.

I like Jared Anderson even more than I did. Massive respect to him. No need to put that pressure on yourself. What will come, will come. Roy Jones is a legend, I hope he has a role in Andersons career and life, they combine together very well and naturally.

Really well-made mini documentary covering Jared Anderson's life and career up to this point. Roy Jones Jr's presence, words of wisdom and narration, made it something uniquely special.
