It was a close fight until the 10th round and a fight either boxer could win at that point. For whatever reason, Oscar inexplicably let off the gas and lost the championship rounds of a fight that was very close.

He said he's been studying Bud since Bud was at lightweight. For him to remember such a minor detail in the heat of the moment says a lot about how thoroughly he does his homework. Even Bud was like "who told him I don't like hot sauce"? Little details can add up to big advantages. Like when Tank told Ryan he was going to break his jaw and Ryan said that he was going to break Tank's jaw and Tank said "You don't even aim for the jaw. You target the temple." These fighters at this level are not basic brutes. They're master strategists and functional psychologists and this is high speed, high stakes chess. We're about to see greatness on display from both of these men.

This is such a great event for all of us boxing fans! And it's so exciting because it could literally go either way. Personally I'm leaning towards Spence but Bud Crawford is so highly skilled that I wouldn't be surprised if he took the win which is why this fight is so anticipated. Even Bud was like "who told him I don't like hot sauce"? Little details can add up to big advantages.
