Yeah, Crawford really paid his dues. He’s 35, finally getting his respect. A lot of fighters come out of the gate with unrealistic hype and SM coverage. Other fighters constantly switch trainers, relocate, and fail to just stay the course. I’m happy for Terence Crawford.

Spence in his locker room with family after the fight, seeing the support and love from his family, and Bud's embrace of Spence during their hug at the post fight press conference brought a few tears to me. Spence and Bud both have character, in the places it counts most - not just in the ring. Sometimes you learn much more about people in their loses than in their victories. In this case, we learn of the character of both, Bud in the tremendously historic victory and Spence in the loss with his will and graciousness. They are both good men.

@eduardochavez7925 so using your ' logic', Manny Pacqiauo must've been on PEDs for years, given how he won titles virtually 30 pounds apart. Crawford is just an exceptional fighter who won fair and square and his titles were won 12 pounds apart. If you're so sure he's on PEDs, rather than say so from the safety of your computer and probably a fake account, provide the proof or go public.

@eduardochavez7925 firstly Crawford has not even gone up by 20 pounds yet for 1 fight, which completely invalidates your PED argument if you're using that as proof. Secondly, where has this Victor Conte supplying Crawford with PEDs coming from? Please don't tell me social media. Unfortunately, there are far too many people making unqualified comments like yours treating it as fact, If you have solid evidence, please share it with us.

After watching this FOUR times, a few things: This is By FAR the best epilogue that Showtime has ever released. Joint plays out like a mini-movie. Truly amazing work.
Secondly, I am a true Spence fan and with that said, I have a difficult time trying to see what he could do in a rematch that would change the outcome. Speed & timing in addition to the strength of Crawford can't be figured out by December or even if the fight is moved to 2024. It is what it is.
Lastly, Crawford & the production of PBC & Showtime are a PERFECT match. Bud comes off almost as a superhero with this type of marketing. I am truly happy for him that he is getting his time in the light. Truly shows how trash Top Rank / ESPN are at building the brand of a top tier fighter in this era.
If they do indeed rematch, I remain Team Spence androot for him to get his lick back in hopes that we get a trilogy. Even with that said, rooting for Erroll does not mean I am rooting AGAINST Crawford. These warriors demonstrated how it is supposed to be done & every true fan of the sweet science owes them BOTH support & respect for representing the sport correctly on the biggest stage.

Man that is well said! I really like both these dudes in and out of the ring. Spence is a great fighter! It is just that Terrance Bud Crawford is an All-Time Great Fighter!!! Spence's pressure has worked against everyone, and he brings that level of heat all night long. Terrence is the wrong person to be pressuring. (That is exactly what Shawn Porter told his father. "You cannot pressure Terrence Crawford." His dad was telling him to press Crawford. But Shawn said Crawford's timing is too hard to deal with for that. You have to be patience and smart. According to Shawn, you cannot tell what Crawford is thinking. He is ahead of you and is not predictable.) His IQ and countering are smart, pin-point, on time and vicious. This is the wrong guy to be lunging at and exposing yourself too, leaving yourself open. He will absolutely destroy anyone pressuring him and exposing themselves in front of him. Spence being the pressure fighter that he is, even if he makes adjustments at 154 and gives Bud more trouble, when the heat in on, and the temperature is raised up, with cannons firing, Spence will revert back to his learned style. Spence's style is amazing to watch! He is a like systematic machine coming behind that jab and spraying dudes with power shots. Crawford is too highly skilled to stand in front of Spence (Like an Ugas who stood directly in the pocket) and let him get all this stuff off. Bud is a deadly sharp counter puncher. Spence is not fast enough to avoid getting touched up in the pocket when he sets towards Crawford. So Spence's greatest strength plays right into Bud's hands. That's won't change at 154. Terrance will bring all those skills with him.
