As a player who ONLY plays solo I for one appreciate the events that can be done solo .
we are two ladies' playing this game and we are loving this game and we are a family
I wanted something like this. Something new, something different. Okay, hear me out. Let's give it a chance.
Edit: Noodle, 100% I'm shooting for the Gigablossom crown.😊
Nice!
I'm really looking forward to getting those flower plans and planters. The eyeball flower looks wicked. With those new flower crowns, we could do an in-game version of the A Midsummer Night's Dream play. Another great video. Many thanks, Noodle and Oskapt. ❤
I'm one of those people that are interested in plants. Noodle the Sporeplant has its name for a REASON. It's a reference to Fallout New Vegas. The spore plants in New Vegas were actually contagious. They had a disease that turned people into spore people, basically plant zombies. They came from vault 22. The whole vault was wiped out. Until Fallout 76 this was the only instance we had in the fallout universe of parasitic plants. So to me its actually really cool to have this reference in the game now that we have the Overgrown, which are ALSO infectious plants. Sure they infected ferals, supermutants and floaters, not people, but ferals and supermutants used to be people. Now, why are the carnivorous plant objects called that? Because they're sundews. Sundews don't move very often or quickly, usually just slowly curling their leaves up to eat an insect. Their killing power as a carnivorous plant comes from their sticky leaves, unlike the venus fly trap. The dust that comes off? Probably pollen, not spores.
You mentioned Belladona, well it's actually the source of an important and very annoying medicine. Drops derived from Belladona's poison, atropine, dialates the pupils of your eyes. Now this sounds like something terrible. But if your optomatrist has ever dialated your pupils, you've used atropine. They do this horrible painful thing to you in order to check your eyes for signs of damage from diabetes. People can go blind from that, so its actually a pretty good thing. So much so that the world health organization considers Belladona to be an important medicinal plant even if its poisonous as hell.
To answer your question Oskapt, you make a starchy paste and soak the hat in it. You'd have some kind of wooden or plastic form underneath to help the hat keep its shape. The band looks like it could have been woven on a backstrap or inkle loom, both of which are really simple to make once you know what you're doing. I can think of a couple of things that could be used, wonderglue diluted in water, vegetable starch diluted in water, razorgrain flour diluted in water. IRL flour, glue and water are used to make paper mache. The real question making this hat though, is how do they keep the glue from being sopped on so thickly that it looks like exactly what it is, burlap dipped n glue and formed into a hat. A lot of craft stuff requires threading a metaphorical needle, not just a literal one.
I would totally wear a flower hat. Then keep my glowing mask for the ash heap. The dirt works with the florist's outfit, it does not work with the other things. As for the crystal cup, do you know how hard it is to get blue pigment in nature? It's nigh unto impossible. Most of my blue pigments as a dye maker are from anthrocyanin rich plants such as berries, flowers with black petals, some can be gotten from black beans and some from purple cabbage. They can also come from red or pink pigmented things such as hibiscus tea, which starts pink and dries to a blue when exposed to oxygen. It's visually very interesting to me to watch a skein of hibiscus dyed yarn slowly turn pink to blue on a hook. (BTW, if you want a stable intense pink, use cochineal and look up directions for how to get pink from it.)
Hm... ok, if YOU say so, coz you know your plants. But it's totally dumb to have a plant that actually eats people called SPORE and the the plant gives off spores called CARNIVOROUS :D hahaha I can't live with it.
@@Gamer_Aviator oh the sundews, I don't think those are spores. I think its either perfume or pollen intended on drawing in food. Their real world method of hunting is to lure insects to land on their leaves.
An entire event based around flowers. It's good to see that developers know what the players want. 🙄
Looking forward to camp building with these additions! I dove deep into 76 this winter after dismissing it at launch. Wow did I miss a lot over the years, sitting in my corner playing 4 and NV on repeat 😂 👍🏼 Thanks for the great content guys!
You're most welcome. Glad to have you with us.
I have the perfect camp for flowers but guess how much budget I have left...
hahahaha does it start with zer....?
I see nothing wrong with tea time, I actually enjoy that event , thanks for all you do guys!!!👍🏼👍🏼
Oh we do as well, it's just that it's not very popular anymore. And, thank you kindly.
I’m looking forward to the event! Thanks for covering this in detail. Two questions though: 1. do the flowers perish when we let them sit in our inventory/ stash box? And 2. does „green thumb“ apply when collecting the flowers from the meadow.. does it interfere / stack with that green tea stuff?
Thank you again guys ❤
Our pleasure. We do not believe that the flowers spoil, but sadly Green Thumb does not apply to them.
Ngl, my main goal for this is using these flowers to make a lovely camp. I don't care much for min maxing and if they make the xp drink a pain...i just wont bother.
One concern i have is that you seem to plant flowers to harvest later..and i worry that a camp full of these will become a target for players to come in and pick all your flowers. Hoping they can only be harvested by the owner, considering you can harvest/collect anything unlocked at a player camp, im going to assume its open season.
My main camp is garden themed so I'm super excited about this upcoming event and all rewards :)
Why do they give us dirty clothes and stuff. I mean, I've noticed they give us clean shiny things for our camp and next thing you know. They dirty it up. Not everything would be dirty. I bet you there would be warehouses full of clean stuff post appoloytic.
Midsommar!!! :) :) 👍 NOBODY step in my way of being the Fasnacht Mayflower Queen. 🔪🔪🔪
Oh, that is BRILLIANT! Best costume ever!
This looks and sounds fun.
yeah! we're looking forward to it
My ghoul will be wearing assorted flower crowns
Im would probably only use the rewards if I ever get round to making the tomorrow house but that's just me I'm more rough raider type style I can see some nice house builders loving this
I would mostly be excited about the flower crowns, but I have been enjoying my horned skinner hood, so I don’t know how much I’d actually wear the crowns 🤷♀️
Carnal Weeper? I think I know someone like that
hahahaha, that's funny
This new event looks good. The flowers are amazing.
Is the new xp/dam tea stackable with other xp buffs? If so, then it is so very worth it. Stack tastey squirrel stew, mothman tome, well rested, Lunchbox very well rested, Leo's cranberry Nuka-cola buff, Leadership bobblehead, Live and Love #8, and Double xp weekend. If I could add that tea in without it replacing one of the others... well that would make it extremely valuable.
of course bloodied build unyielding armor with int 2 star legendary
on each piece with max int...
I can't wait to play the new event
Same. It's so pretty.
Burlap hats just like that one are widely available. :)
hehehe indeed
Would have been better if they added another raid , enclave enemies , weapons and gear from other fallout games. Not this
Personally, I wish they'd lose the tie for the female suits.
I went through a tie phase when I was in my 20s. It was a good look, but I did keep my shirt pretty unbuttoned. I agree, this is too formal. -Noodle
Interesting....but sounds like WAY too much work!!!
That's what many people on the PTS are saying.
... But make it simpler and people complaint after a week: it's not enough content!
😔
Quit playing awhile back... I just like the name noodlepants.
Awww thank you 🥰
I will wear the flower crown.
Awesome!
Ghostedeadguy will be in bloom
Way cool.
When?
Definitely spring, but no exact date yet.
Buuuuut, can you stack that xp buff?🤔
Nor really interested in any of the rewards, honestly. I'm not into flowers
Any weapons
As event rewards? Doesn't appear that way. Much like Fasnacht only drops masks and camp decorations as its main rewards.
76s best days are clearly in the past fallout 5 please
It's definitely ... different.
Not a fan of flowers
not even ones with eyeballs?
@@Gamer_Aviatormaybe ones with eyeballs
