Frankly, the only "secret" thing that should be talked about is how lvl 40 is locked behind NG+ which not a lot of people know and if you collect all the batarangs, landmarks, and murals (which also shows in the database tab) you'll get a total of 3 extra ability points to spend on your character.
With all the negative reviews, I almost cancelled my preorder. Glad I didn’t - I had a blast last night playing this on PC. I adjusted the graphics settings and bumped up my frame rates to 60fps min, game looks and plays great for me. I also got the Deluxe Edition around $60, so that was a decent discount for launch day.
At 1:13 you claimed that Nightwing's transportation ability is the only one that lets you fly up. That's wrong. Robin's also allows you to fly up. Hold shift while teleporting and you will climb upward as you are teleporting.
Batgirls traversal also allows to fly up, you just have to increase the speed by flying slightly towards the ground and then pull up. You can cover great distances without touching the ground or using grapple hook.
Robin’s secret ability is definitely the coolest “looking”. But I like Barbara’s the most with the bats. I also couldn’t stop using her in the game. Lol I was just unstoppable
Sad that a lot of the negative conjecture and supposed bad opinions for this game were before most of those say ing it had even played it. These games are meant to be fun, not impress tech snobs.
1.) you can go up and down on Robin’s traversal. Given that you can do it back to back(no cooldown), I’ve had no issue getting across the whole city or to any height. 2.) Robin’s traversal is such an awesome idea, but horrible execution. 3.) they should have incorporated his teleport into his evade. Unlock ability to hold O to do a teleport evade a bigger distance or incorporate fear into to make it a bit of CC/open enemies for combos or after teleport evade enemies are disoriented and you can tie it into his stealth damage buffs(makes sense in my head, not sure I’m wording it correctly to get the point across). Give him some Nightcrawler vibes. 4.) Robin was so slept on and ignored from the get go. I’ve been maining him since launch… ZERO. REGRETS. He’s amazing!!
Got the game early yesterday and I don’t get the hate. It’s kind of divided. Looks great on PS5, yea it’s 30fps but geez. I am having a good time with it and I get bored quick with many games. Can usually tell after playing a game for a day if it’s going to hold my interest or not. Seems like a lot of different options going on here with this one. If you liked Arkham knight, trust me you will enjoy this one a lot!
The only issue I see with this game is that's just a really good game. It's not transcendent or better than the Arkham games. It's just a good fun game. Maybe games have to be more than that.
The thing I love the most about this game is the potential like DLC characters potential Batwoman ,Huntress ,Damian Wayne, Azreal and honesty this game is the base for a proper Turtles game 😅
The nest is good not for the damage but the healing cuz there is a perk u can get heals 100% while u or ur team is in also helps for when u are playing alone helps for tht clutch moment man i can’t count number of times nest actually come in clutch to bail me out 😊 also I mostly play alone cuz no one to play with so nest is perfect
the 10 premeditated crimes need to be account wide? is that what this guy said? that would make completting the knighthoods so much easier and a bad thing, people would then complain they have nothing to do or no reason to hop onto a different character. i think the levels and ability points being account wide is enough. if they make everything like that, there is no insentive to play all of the characters and have fun with them.
Yup you can clearly see who his personal favorites are. Nightwing and Batgirl. And that is okay of course. But if you want to show something, don't impose your personal preferences. He also barely shows anything of Robin. Then you have to distribute them all fairly over the length of your video. That's what people want to see. Personal preference doesn't matter. Amen

Why shouldn’t it do damage? He’s still kicking enemies and his sticks are flying at speeds that would give a normal man a concussion so if anything it should do more damage than the max they probably gave it.
barbara can fly upward too just need to glide up then down for less than half a sec then stop gliding and then start gliding up again and repeat the same, i made a macro so i can fly easily, also i recommend using the superjump out of a grapple to start with momentum

The only secrets I've found in this game.. is those odd green glowing crow walls that u sometimes come across while doing bike races if u listen to Alfred while ur racing, he tells you as soon as ur near one

I was convinced without playing a demo or over a friends' house that this game was a flop and probably the most disappointing game to release. I just don't understand why so many people cosigned that general consensus. if your "Batman" fan you are doing yourself a disservice. I put batman in quotes because i mean batman in the most general sense. If you're only a fan of the Arkham games manage expectations because this aint that. If you're not really a batman fan but really like a d.c. character closely associated with him hero or villain but not a member of the bat family i could see how you might find it underwhelming. But it should be experienced by every "Batman" fan not fans of the animated series or Chris Nolan's dark knight trilogy a specific run of comics or graphic novels but all of it in general those are the fans that will appreciate this games story. The gameplay is okay but is better if you think of it like there is one best character or a specific successor but think of them like bat suits that you change based on circumstances your find yourself in specific to this game not past accolades or favorite character. That's why the lvl progression is universal so if you hit a wall all got to do is fast travel to base grab the suit (character) u needs to overcome said wall or obstacle. then your free to either swap back or keep it on until next obstacle presents itself. The game provides all the tools you need, and you decide how and when to use those tools. i.e. You wouldn't use a flashlight in broad daylight so don't use Red hood when u need to be stealthier. You can prolly power through or you can swap to robin and do it effortlessly. I'm done ranting.
Can someone explain the easiest way to deal elemental damage to enemies? That is one of the trophies that I can’t get. Am I not using the right abilities to deal this damage to 50 enemies? Maybe I try a Nightwing escrima stick with fire/shock and this whirlwind.

Robins teleport actually lets you go up and down. Look at the right side of the screen by the momentum abilities and just above it to the right will have the controls for robins teleport
I just played the trial for this game and WOW it's so bad,the frame rates are terrible The combat controls are delayed and frrl like a cut scene with buttons

There's no such thing as secret abilities in this game, you unlock all abilities through quests and there is nothing besides going through the story to get them show how to unlock them. I get the need to get views, but this game ain't that complicated. the tutorial is really fleshed out and there are no secret abilities.

He does, but it's not really a secret ability (It's only a "secret" because you don't get to do the challenge to unlock it till later in the game). Not sure why he's baiting it in the video cause all the abilities that can be unlocked show up in the characters challenges tab. Red Hoods "secret ability" is a tackle/charge, its good when you're surrounded and don't want to get stuck in a gangbang. If you collide with an npc that has low enough hp you'll grab them and stick a concussion grenade to them then throw them.

You must be set up wrong with the wrong elemental damage versus them as it's scalled by your melee weapon. Grt the right element and watch it eat their hp
A question about the story missions for each character. Do they umlock even when you're not playing as that character. For example, when playing with Batgirl, do you see the icon for Nightwings story missions, and then you know you need to switch characters? Or do you need to change character and look if there is a story mission available???

Not sure why he's baiting it in the video cause all the abilities that can be unlocked show up in the characters challenges tab. Red Hoods "secret ability" is a tackle/charge, its good when you're surrounded and don't want to get stuck in a gangbang. If you collide with an npc that has low enough hp you'll grab them and stick a concussion grenade to them then throw them.

A question about the story missions for each character. Do they umlock even when you're not playing as that character. For example, when playing with Batgirl, do you see the icon for Nightwings story missions, and then you know you need to switch characters? Or do you need to change character and look if there is a story mission available???
