This game is not as bad as people are making out I really like it there are a few issues within gameplay but nothing a strong patch or 2 would be able fix
naw a patch for 30fps, more activity in open world, trash combat system, bad UI system etc......yeah its bad
@@drumm394 your expectations are too high, and it's bc of the Arkham series Masterpiece, I understand your frustration but do understand Gotham knights developers said they want to pull away from the Arkham franchise, they're trying to make an entire different game and universe, the game literallt just needs an update to run constant 30 fps and no drops, better optimization and that's it tbh it's overall and great game

I agree 100%. The game is by no means perfect. Given that we got the Arkham games, which are pretty much the epitome of a perfect Batman game, it's hard to not compare. I've been having a blast with the game. Its Batman so naturally, I enjoy it. And yes, I have noticed a lot of flaws, but overall I enjoy the hell out of it.
It's 2022 as a gamer you shouldn't encourage or support mediocre $70 next gen games especially not the ones masking a AAA games.
With that being said I would like these content creators highlight what they like about the game and what WB Montreal can do to improve upon it and what direction they'd like to see WB Montreal take the game in.
Personally I hope they continue to build on this template and improve upon character movements, more gear customization (DCUO) improve combat reflecting more of the Rocksteady Arkham series combat system without completely abandoning the current system and 60 FPS it's 20222.
Long term plan I hope they get with Day Break Games and make a DCUO 2 and merge the two giving us a DC Next Gen MMO RGP for the next 20yrs+.
@@jaykray1820 So I have to ask. Is there a game that is described as "Poorly designed" by others. Yet, you have a blast playing it? You may not like it. Yet, it is all subjective by the end of the day. If there isn't something that is so game breaking. That the game is literally unplayable for anyone. Then, the game overall is good.
Plus, I like to add. People need to stop comparing this game to the Arkham Series. This is NOT an Arkham game. This game stands on its own. All in its own universe. It has no connection to the Arkham games.
If you go into your database and check rhe faction tab you get an overview of every enemy you met and there you can see their weakness so you can plan your gear

Yeah people are dumb asf.
Just to throw it out there, the collectible batarangs are highlighted by a blue light that is of a unique shade that can be seen from pretty far away. When I started the game, I thought it was absolutely insane that I was supposed to just stumble across 60 batarangs while at the same time I walked right past these lights cause they can blend into everything else if you don't know what your looking for.
The ar scanner helps too. Especially if you're closer, it highlights them orange.
No shit 😱 And when you push the Attack-Button you can attack Enemys.
Who would've thought
The game makes everything very clear to people who like to read the database. This is not the first time I have seen people mention that you should look at the color of the numbers to figure this out when I can literally go to the profile section of the database and be told exactly what the resistance is and damage types are.
Game is pretty damn fun. I’ve enjoyed having each hero take on their own case file.
Im loving this game lots of fun enjoying the different combar moves of each. So far my fav is Robin. He reminds me of Donatello with his weapon.
You can also bypass all the security with Robin's invisibility, it's a momentum ability that costs 1 bar and lasts 10 seconds though so make sure to have at least 1 or 2 bars and you can walk through all the cameras and lasers.

Watching these videos makes me really hyped to keep playing this. Currently only level 16 cause I’ve been doing mainly side stuff and just having fun with all of the characters. But I’m so hyped to get robin and nightwing to their endgame builds
Nice tips, but for me for story coherence purposes I’m sticking to one hero till I complete it the first time. I chose Batgirl because she plays more like her mentor but on NG+ I’ll switch to a different hero.
@@axxjazz. with Barbs digital ghost skill you can make all the security systems ignore her. There’s one series of side quests with heavy security systems you can breeze through with this skill.
I started out as just Red Hood. But then I switched just to try out Batgirl. Honestly, the most fun thing is switching characters and having a totally new playstyle (plus you get XP every time you complete character specific stuff so you're missing out on ability points fam!)
Red Hood's storyline feels like the "cannon" story to play through, I won't spoil it but you should check it out when you get to NG+ beat every mission as Red Hood and you'll see what I mean.
first play thru i kept sswapping toons, now im on third play thru with one at a time. Nightwing then Robin now on Batgirl and saving Redhood for last. People can gripe all they want but for me I love this game. Im an old player I started with Atari , this game is something we could only dream of while watching Superfriends on Saturday mornings. I dont get the crying "give me 60 fps or im gonna bash your game even though i dont play it" . To many grown kids sitting in moms house whining that games arent perfect the way they want. the only people worth hearing from are the ones that play a game and want to share their experiences. If someone doesnt like the game they need to move on and not ruin everyone elses fun. ..Just an old mans opinion mind you. and one of the ones that was taught if you dont have something nice to say keep it to yourself. I think parents arent teaching that anymore. Happy gaming folks!! Be your own Hero!

Mistake I made. Batgirls perk doesn't work on pressure sensors under the floor. Just every other sensor or camera
I know you said it plays better switching knights throughout the story, but I'm going to be playing this through at least five (5) times. I saw another RUclips video that said the dialogue and interactions are different and can change during the story and game play for each character, depending on who you are playing. So playing through completely once witch each character guarantees "seeing" the whole game. Then after the fourth play through, I'll do NG+ playing and switching between all four.
Still on my first play through with Nightwing (favourite). Then probably Batgirl, Red Hood, and then Robin (saving him for last cause I heard his teleport isn't the best).
The thing about the Heroic travels is just learning how they work. Robin's for example can go really really high, making it great for vertical but not so great horizontally which is fine because the grapple gun takes care of your horizontal movement.
They all have their pros and cons and you can really get a feel for them with the "Heroic Time Trials"
I completely changed my mind about liking Red Hoods travel with his Time Trials and Now I can deliver stolen organs to the doctor fastest with Red Hood
I usually avoid playing with Robin, cuz I thought he was the weakest of the bunch. But your kicking ass with him, think I’ll give him another try!
Hmm.. The combat in YOUR videos look MUCH better than what I have seen in other videos, reviews, walkthroughs.... I mean, it really looks like a ton of fun when YOU play it 🙂

Nightwing and red hood are the most fun in my opinion because nightwing is so acrobatic and red hoods guns are so much fun to use
The combat isn't as bad as the reviews have said. Though it does take hours to unlock more abilities to spice it up a bit. It is grindy.
It falls far short of the Arkham and Spiderman games. But it's not the abysmal train wreck they make it out to be.
I'd say so far the game deserves a 6.5 out of 10. Though I will gladly bump that up to a 7 if they would fix the freaking framerate and add a 60fps mode.

Just beat this today, this game was fun. I managed to do all the story parts for each character before finishing the game.
For resistance and weaknesses. Go to database for each enemy, it tells you what they strong and weak against. Ignore his part of the video for thism

The game tells you weaknesses/resistances in the Database when you run into new enemies. Just check the factions portion
game really isnt bad. only problem I've ran into was huge fps drops when far away in multiplayer. other than that it's a pretty fun game

I’m enjoying this game, at first I kept comparing it to the Arkham series, but I realized that wasn’t fair. There are some things I’d like to see tweaked in the game tho. The elemental effects/gear really make a difference in the fights.
one thing that ticked me off about the game is how with the side missions there were no dialogue like if you save a hostage or how you have to do a side mission to beat up enemies and they aren’t just laying on the street i also don’t like how the batcycle spawns out of thin air the arkham knight animations were badass
Court of Owls become way more frequent once you finish the main story
You are able to get all the skills for all characters, you have to get to max lvl in New game plus, achieve knighthood with all characters and get the collectibles that reward ability points and it will give enough to buy all the perks/abilities for all characters including their knighthood tree.
I still don't understand why the low ratings and complaints of this game in terms of combat and gameplay. The skills is so flashy, and there is combo to master and dish out. Story is so immersive. People just need to stop comparing to Arkham knight, GK is standalone. I never play any batman game and still understand the story of GK.
Exactly people are focusing on what the game isn’t, but what it is is actually pretty fun. Besides the 30 fps I’ve actually been enjoying the game and I’ve never played any of the arkham games.
Tbh this is better then Arkham. I prefer RPGs and not to play as Batman every game. Love the bat family.
Some peoples standerds are just higher. A 70 doller game with ps2 level gameplay and movement is a huge turn off for some people. It also dosnt help the Cort of owls is the main villan that was probably the boringist batman arc in the new 52 I don't know why they decided to put it in a game.

the combat doesn't quite flow right for me, it feels clumsy to dodge around everything, the ranged and hacking are hard to pull off in combat and some enemies spam attacks too much
I think the game looks really fun from what I’ve seen and the replay ability with gear selection and points seems cool.

I find it funny that the most amount of xp you can get in the game is from a gang that isn’t even the main villain at the end of the day. The court of owls were marketed as the main villains in this game but of course like Arkham Origins whoever wrote this script thought that subverting expectations just for the sake of subverting expectations was a great idea even though they got so much shit for it in Origins. The difference here is that unlike Origins where the surprise villain was actually pretty good as Troy Baker did a great take on the Joker, here the surprise villain isn’t much of a surprise for one and they’re just not as interesting as the court.
Can Batgirl throw Batarangs at barrels? When there are no enemies around, they hit the barrel just fine. But if there is an enemy nearby, it always goes directly for the enemy *even when I'm holding L-Trigger and manually aiming*
You have to account for the curve it makes. Once you get used to how it curves when thrown you will be golden I believe 😄

Mistakes I've made; Thinking Red Hood can work as a melee character. He can unga bunga his way through anything with his ranged and vengeance perks.
His crit damage is insane and melts through enemies like butter.
the first time I played through I had a build for red hood as a melee build and he was actually pretty good at it.

Can you please clarify the last video you made where you said cache respawn every night. Have you found out if that was a bug in your spesific game? Because so many people can't get new caches and others saying you just get 12.
So how to do you craft all of these elemental weapons? (Fire, Toxic, Shock, etc) You should do a tutorial video on this...I've been playing the game without, and been doing minimal damage.
when u go to the crafting section it will have a symbol that corresponds to the elemental effect which u can check in the database to see which means which. Some items don’t have an elemental effect tho so if u don’t see a symbol that’s why. there’s poison, stun, fire, ice, and electric elemental suits weapons and melee
Enjoying the game so far, getting to grips with everything. One question just now, should I be completing all the crimes highlighted in red and triangle white each night? Like all of them? Then go back to the Belfry? Thanks 😊
Definitely do the crimes in red. The small white triangle crimes really don’t matter but they do help you build up your premeditated crimes meter for the next night.
If you go to a White triangle and interrogate someone there you will get a red triangle to do on your map
You can get all the skills with doing all the collectibles an talon caches, no respec is needed 🤷🏽♂️
Nth material is really holding me back. I got all this nice gear but no Nth material to craft them with.
I guess I can call it a mistake by prioritizing red hood on the brawler class as he's way more suited for ranged combat. However the brawler class gets kinda busted once you invest in it and perform a lot of grab throws with him... except against the league of assassins faction as they're immune to grabs. And just because he can grab the bigger enemies at 50% of their health with the right investements makes me not regret it.
You do know you can check your database tab in the menu to look at them and see their weaknesses, right? Like once you gave them once, it tells you their weakness

im level 30 on Gotham knights it crazy how much damage my character does at level 30 plus i figured out how to use the mods system for the game now

So you don't get new blueprints that are above level 30 in new game plus? You are meant to then craft and use all the 30 gear and if you don't you are screwed?
too bad you can't select different Heroes to do different city missions, like if you chose Red Hood you can't switch to Batgirl as suggested to disable security cams, without resetting the entire city
Well, it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to be able to switch between characters on the fly. There are also other things you cannot do until you return to the belfry as well. This makes players strategize what they want to accomplish BEFORE they leave the belfry.
@@ADarklore it would make a lot of sense to be able to switch between characters, co-op players are able to strategize that way... in solo, it seems more odd to suggest only one character goes out on patrol at night, what are the other 3 doing lol

This man is someone who actually understand how this game works. If you don’t play it correctly then you aren’t going to like it. This is not an Arkham game. This game has an advanced combat system. The Arkham games did most of the work for you. Especially making the gameplay look cool. With this game, YOU have to work to make the gameplay look cool. That’s a big point of the training area in the belfry. It helps teach you how to play correctly to make it easier and make your combat look badass. So to everyone saying this game sucks, clearly you’re basic and not trying to play how the game is meant to be played. This game is amazing. Y’all just don’t have the brain cells for it.

The game is really fun i must admit i miss the counter system rather just dodging everything i thought it was real cute how they all have like one ability Batman does and i just wish they had more villains and it was a longer game beside that it was really fun
maybe it was just me, but I like the dodging over counter, mostly because to me the Arkham game's counter was just...too easy.

Don’t dodge just run. Dodging will slow you down and he’ll eventually get you. If you run while he’s aiming you’ll get ahead and stay ahead of the laser

Probably didn't update the game, (can tell with Tina Tina's loot) every patch may screw up RNG loot. Lowering rate of better drops. Here i am testing when do 'bio electric' geer drops WITHOUT touching a single case file.
The games really fun so far, it doesn't deserve the hate it got, really solid game. The color ways are annoyingly hard to get though so far
My plan is to just play Batgirl the entire time even for new game+ I I wanna max her out until there's nothing left to do with her even get maxed out builds and then I was just going to make a new save for each character and run each character through the entire game separately

@@unrulybwoy800 yep same I'm sticking with one character all the way to the end until I have 100% completed everything with Batgirl when there's nothing left I will move on to the next until thier all done and maxed out at lvl 40. Hopefully we get dlc that does increase the level cap and they add in new gear new outfits new skills and perks as we'll would be cool to get exotics with special perks and stuff
Hate to break it to you, but you can have only one save. I wanted to try and hear each characters prologue dialogue and the game just overrides.

Exactly! Completely different studio and they even stated that it takes place in a completely different universe.
This game is not as complicated as they make you believe. I played the whole game with Robin, got all the trophies then completed in New Game Plus to level 40 with Bat Girl just to make it different.
When you finished the game with one character, did it automatically bring all the other characters up to the same level by the end?
@@Mavryck_Tha_Myghty when you switch characters they have same levels and unlocked gear. You just need to assign ability points and mods/ gear

How is your hud different to mine?
1st mistake you made was actually switching characters during the game.. If you level 1 character to 30 and finish the game all characters get brought up to lvl 30. I suggest Robin for a first play thru Pick as his increased speed while stealth, being able to stealth take down big targets, his Elemental build up and chance to elemental explosion helps for dealing with multiple enemy types and not to mention later in the game he gets access to Momentum ability full stealth that allows him to pass thru camera's etc like bat girl only for about 10 secs though.

Good tips, but you can get all the skills, just annoying getting the wrong ones first. The way to get them all is doing all sidequests, meaning, even collecting fucking batarangs.
I enjoy this game.. I don’t get why people claim to “hate” it. There are things I don’t like but they are many more things that I do and to me that is what makes a game good. If the pros outweigh the cons. For example I don’t like gliding with batgirl. At least not nearly as much as Batman in Arkham knight. I do like and dare I say love the interactions between the characters throughout the entire game.
