I played Gotham Knights yesterday and my main is Nightwing because I love him and he’s the leader. Also he’s the most oldest and wisest I just love playing as him.
I think Batgirl's grapple kick is the single most useful hidden mechanic to take down brutes without OP gear. You can tap it twice and she'll kick the brutes twice in the face, and that literally put full health brute in the red and knock them down, and there's no cool down. You can chain this to hell and stunlock brutes once they get up.
Finished it with Robin and starting again on New Game+. Heads up, something they dont tell you, finish unlocking ALL the momentum moves first otherwise you will have to wait till you progress to that part of the story again to unlock a move. Either choosing Red Hood or Batgirl next.
I know this is random to ask of you, but I can’t find out and at least you play the game, what do I do to cloak as Robin ? I absolutely can not find anything on it
@@woahningenius it unlocks naturally through the story make sure you look at the challenges tab at knighthood they should be there and if it isn’t look in abilities in the momentum tab and it is right trigger and O if you are on ps5 right trigger and B if you are on Xbox and I have no idea for pc😂
@@uncomfortabletruths7990 it all depends per person for me Personally red hood was too sluggish in combat but I built my robin to be adaptable especially to combat with building him off cryo damage plus his inate buffs from the tinkering tree… robins the best for me personally following nightwing but it all depends on how you like playing. Robin is versatile when you build him good
I find Nightwing nest to be quite useful. Plenty of times during a battle nest came in clutch for me on some survivability playing on hard. I do a momentum build with him and love it
Batman made Damion drop the sword it’s a lethal weapon! So if they do add Damion there would be no sword but the biggest factor is in this universe Damion would never EXIST!!! It’s impossible.
Honestly batgirl was the way to go for me I just love her whole kit she’s so balanced and since I don’t have nobody to play this game with she was the best choice for me to run solo missions everyone is fun af in their own regard especially Robin but I noticed while I used the other 3 there were situations where I’m just like “dam I should’ve brought in batgirl she would’ve been got past this shit a long time ago”
I love red hood for the fact that I can grab bigger enemies which helps with alot of situ and with sticky bombs and crits with the pistols he is easily my favorite
Batgirl isn’t underrated at all. To be fair the truly underrated characters would be knightwing or Robin but at the end of the day there are only 4 characters at the moment. Would love to see a Damian Wayne dlc.
@@SadDragonHours Damian Wayne isn’t a bad idea it just doesn’t seem possible given the events of this game they would have to bring Bruce Wayne back have him get raped by Talía and have them do a whole timeskip for Damian Wayne to be possible they just didn’t set up the universe to include him if anything they might have Batman as dlc he’s more of a possibility cause he flew that batwing straight into one of the pits so he might actually still be alive
Man honestly I love Robin but I wanted a Damian Wayne Robin. Imagine the whole plot where Damian ultimately fighting both his mom and dad as final bosses ! 👀
I maxed Nightwing to 40 and beat the game on hard Solo with him. I think nightwing takes skill to master because you have to fight everyone head up but I like the engagement
Robin is definitely the best. He has one ability in the skill tree where he can throw down a smile bomb after doing a grapple kick, which allows him to escape undetected without wasting a smile bomb. And once you unlock his knighthood ability you can literally use the teleport any time during a fight to escape you enemies making them lose sight of you and you can do takedowns while your in the teleport mode. Even if your not into stealth all it would take is to do a takedown, teleport out and wait a few seconds until they start to lose you, then go back in and rinse and repeat. Also robins microbots are OP, just like all the other special abilities for each character, and they do fire damage as well as constantly do damage to enemies and they do quite a bit of damage to multiple enemies at a time
Robin has been my go-to with wearing the Night-ops outfit in the blackout colorway. His stealth feels the most like Batman, and his combos and animations are badass! I wish he had the gliding option like Batgirl does, but I love the slide-ways traversal especially doing stealth and knockdown takedowns with it.
For general play and combat, Red Hood is best in my opinion. Solid close and ranged combat options and his mystical jump is superior to all the others as far as traversing the map.
My Favourite Knight/Bat Family Member is a tie between Red Hood and Nightwing love them both if i had to choose one NW but its really close. Honourable mention BATWING. For the Game i'm definitely excited to play Batgirl SOLO (as she plays the most like Bruce) and Nightwing on another playthrough or through multiplayer.
Yeah, I just bought it, didn't play it yet but after seeing she's the only one that has the glide like Batman, it's a no brainer. Plus her combat is nice too.
Her second wind ability is so good and you can upgrade it I'm at level 25 with her and I'm going for the max this game is real good in my opinion I'm not disappointed at all
@@andrenapper8802idk. Her glide sucks compared to Batman's in the Arkham games. She can't even gain height, she always needs to grapple. I prefer either Red Hood or Robin myself. But the best in terms of traversal is Nightwing followed by Batgirl and then Robin and then Red Hood.

I'd rate them Batgirl > Red Hood > Robin > Nightwing. I just love Batgirl and her fighting style is the closest to Arkham Batman (for me anyway), Red Hood is insanely useful against heavy enemies since he can grab them at half hp. Robin was a surprize to me, he's extremely powerful. And can stealth takedown heavy enemies. And his teleport takedown is simply hilarious to troll enemies from across the roof. Nightwing is... I don't know. I've played enough with him to feel ok in combat. His AOE abilities are cool. But I feel that he's more of a co-op leader character. Half of his abilities make sense while playing in a group. he's not too good at stealth, not too good at open combat. He's more of a support. For me anyway.
Can someone explain red hoods mystic jump? 9/10 times i use it he just jumps up 3 feet and falls straight down. Makes his agility test impossible. What am i doing wrong
I've been having trouble with it too but I put my mystic jump to hold instead of tap in the settings menu to make it more consistent and I look for higher buildings to jump off or grapple hook up to so I can repeatedly jump through the city. it's still a bit clumsy sometimes as I'm still tryna master it for those stupid time trials lol

Nightwing is my least favorite. Most of his movement or attack animation feel slower compared to the rest of characters. It seems like he is dancing around the battlefield. When I use him it seems I have to click my mouse more precisely because his attack needs time to connect with the enemy.

I am playing as Red Hood for my main, which surprised me. The Arkham Origins game was so good, I can't figure out what went so wrong with this one.
Just say you hate rpg games. Also for the love of god, stay AWAY from red hood if your going to complain about slow combat. If you still wanna try and love the game, please do the tutorials because I bet you didn’t do them. Lastly, the game has a slow start.

I know they call it a Action-RPG buy its not really a RPG. I'm happy for you guys if you like the game, nothing wrong with that but I don't enjoy playing blocky characters on a blocky handling motorcycle and running around an empty city trying to find a group to beat up over and over and over. What is up with the crazy air leaping? The game is just a hot mess. I'm willing to bet money that this game started out as more of a RPG and was going to be an on-line game like The Avengers game was. Then they seen how bad The Avengers game was and that people didnt like it and they tried to change the game. This is what was left.

2 grapple kicks do more damage than her beatdown ability, its insane
how do you do that? I just started recently and She's level 8.
Im currently really enjoying Red Hood, he is super fun to play and his combat and movement is just amazing imo, really liking his character too

Robin is so much more than a stealth character…I built him off of elemental effects and am one shoting enemies he is also great for combat!

Red hood is easily the best in terms of raw dmg numbers you cant hit upwards of 13K in one headshot

levelling up i dont know what levels exactly but at 20 you will have 4 and thats the max
Levelling up will passively grant you more. Some Knight's like Nightwing can get extra bars with their skills as well 😀

Nightwing’s darts (frozen and poisonous) coupled with his agility allow me to breeze through the game.
Red hood has the best special and it's insane to say other wise lmao it clears out entrie groups in one move

If you play the game turn the saturation up to 100 it makes the game look a million times better it was like the game was made for that setting
