This is useful. I'll have to try that legendary trick. If you're lazy about merging your mods and run out of room though, the game will merge them for you when you run out of space, eating up your lowest level mods. Which was convenient for me since I got a weird glitch and had a bunch of power level 0 mods that I couldn't merge. The game ate them instead and cleaned them out.

I’m just a casual gamer so thought I was just unable to understand the mod thing. It was good to know a more serious gamer sees this as an unnecessarily convoluted design.
I feel the crafting and mod stuff is completely unnecessary. Just have core gadgets for each character that can be upgraded and have the mods be chips that can be switched out for fighting certain enemies.
Don’t know why they made this complicated system that really slows down the gameplay…

Damn....this actually works! My only problem is I only had 1 blue mod that was a different effect, but I have tons of blue health mods. I gotta hit the streets to find some blues other than health. Thanks man.

I was actually enjoying modding until trying the fusing of modchips. I was assuming I could experiment on it without penalty, as whenever I chose the remove all modchips options before, I would get all my modchips back. The fused chips though seem to have vanished after I sent the suits I did not get results from to scrap.
I had my suit built up as high as 1200 power at level 24, and now with the modchips I have left I can barely achieve 600 power. WB did OK on Origins, but I think after seeing how they do solo their work on Origins must have been due to Rocksteady consulting with them a lot.
This is like Ubi's crappy tiered loot structure they've gone to, you have to hope for luck through trial and error.
I only got the 3 epic one rare glitch once. With one elemental resistance and 3 health,but I noticed with other fusions I try it's a no go. I also seem to be dealing with a glitch where I dont get any defense boosting mods 😂 since the beginning of the game shits so frustrating. Because this is a fun game but theres still a few kinks they need to iron out.

You have to be 30+ and in NG+ at that point if you do heroic assault it will drop level 61 at floor 1 of kelvin

btw the item level scales in story mode for example if you would wear only lv 40 gear then it will drop lv 40 or 1 lv above it but lets say you wear lv 45 gear then enemys scale with you and also the drops so then you will get lv 45 or lv 46 drops and so on so eventually you can get lv 60 mods from story mode instead of just doing lv 30 of heroic assault cause when i play with my nightwing that is wearing lv 60 gear when i go stop some crimes they all are lv 60 and the drops are lv 60 but when i go play with my batgirl that i just started to gear and unlock the momentum abillitys that wears lv 45 gear i only get lv 45/46 gear/mod drops also the heroic mods from lucious can get to lv 60 but they dont have high stats and from what i have seen from comparing a lv 40 heroic mod with a lv 60 heroic mod from lucious it doesnt really increase much in terms of stats
on my pc account that is kind of what i did.. i finished the harley showdown first got level 45 and then when i was doing all the other stories drops would just increase.
In my testing, fusing 4 of the same type like critical damage 100% gives you back a critical damage mod. Maybe it's changed with patches, but in my experience it was pretty consistent
idk.. not for me that is for sure.
There's been plenty of times where I've merged 4 of the same type and got a completely different type. RNG Gods are lookin out of you ig

@@SunnySyde Theres also a mod glitch though. Sometimes, I'll get a legendary damage, only for it to not appear in my inventory. And yes, I always go back to the belfry. Never shows up.
I brought 3 buddies into heroic assault I think they were both level 30. We did floor 29 and they got level 58 mods.

I have played HA2 Kelvin incident i'm stuck on the 14th floor but anyway was getting mythical/mystical mods but yet you can't veiw them let alone use them i am missing something?

When I look at these numbers I am amazed. Right now I only have 16% crit damage mods and I'm at 80 item lvl. Did they nerf these higher mods or is 10% crit and 16% crit damage the max now?
There were some moments when I was using my older low level epics to fuse higher low grade mods and I got legendaries. It only happened in suits and I tried to replicate the process and it didn’t work for range and melee. I had no idea why. Now I know how it worked for suits lol
Also the mods auto fuse when you run out of space

I NEVER was the type of person that really cared about the Fusion thing… Although I colected a Handful of Legendary mods from beaten up bad guys I didn’t think it was possible to make a Legendary mod… BUT someone shared a clip on xbox which was a fusion and what was there final result was a Legendary mod. I was like WAIT, WHAT, HOW?! Thankfully I was able to make 3 level 50 Legendary Suit Mods Thanks to You so THANK YOU🙏

Hey man, I kept getting epic armor mod but not rare armor mod. any idea where to find it ? i grind a lot at floor 29...maybe its too high ? hence only spawn epic mod ?
ya they seem to be really challenging to get, but try very easy activities and those small white triangle crimes around the city.. also the rewards on crimes like retrieving the hard drives which typically give low level rewards.
Thank you for the breakdown... as you said this system makes no sense. I purposely did not do that Lucius Fox mod fusion challenge because it made absolutely no sense for me to use up my Legendary Mods.

yes, red hood also has a piece and batgirl has another piece.. those are the only ones ive seen. I did a video on the "undying" set if you want to check it out
Still works but the mod reverts back to epic after some time
I received a level 60 mod at level 30,
I tagged along a high level persons heroic assault thing
i kept getting one shotted during the whole thing died 4 times but i made it and got that 60 mod chip
if you havent started new game + yet and u are max level u can get level 60 stuff.
As far as the color ways I saw that my inventory was full and all the old suits I crafted that weren't legendary I dismantled them cause they were from the very beginning of the game how do you know what suits to keep and keep all your color ways?
once you unlock the colorways you keep them even if u deleted the gear to unlock them. so you are safe to delete everything if u like.
@SunnySyde cause when I try to change the suits different masks and clothes they are all locked and can't customize them anymore
@@nerigiron7704 you might have your suit on a transmog.. its kind of tough to tell but go to the suit your having trouble with tab over to styles and hold the "revert all" button
why can’t i add a mod to my heroic suit or ranged weapon?? i can only add a melee mod. i’m so confused.
some heroic gear doesnt have mod slots for some reason.. just depends on the item how many mod slots they have
Not sure why but I only get health mods for the suit. I’m level 30 now and I haven’t gotten anything but health mods for the suit. Is this common?
health mods seem to be the only mods in the game now.. with the updates they did it screwed mods up and none of the others drop hardly ever
I cant seem to earn Elemental Mod Chips tho.. where are they ?!
How did you get something other than Health under your suits? I literally completed the game and side missions, but I think I only have health mod chips under suits section.
mods are a complete wreck.. since the last update all the other drops seem to have disappeared.

Does this still work, I'm into legendary gear now, no mod chips yet, but I've wasted some elemental chips trying to fuse them and they turn into the increased elemental effect. I'm assuming that's more of the gear specialty may be!
Also forgot to ad, I'm getting 45 gear and my level is 30. I went into heroic assault after unlocking it in the story and have spent the last few days playing neglecting finishing the story. So I'm not sure. HA is fun but it seems my character is way to strong to go back to gotham. The enemies are now 43 and my level still says 30... maybe because i haven't beaten the story yet and have played HA> I matched with some ppl at 60 first couple of matches...it was weird and too fast how i leveled.
u can level your gear to level 60 if u wish from heroic assault only being level 30.. the mod system is totally messed up alot of the mod chips needed for the legendary fusions dont drop or are just hard to find.. honestly there is no need for u to do NG+ unless you want to do the story again or get the additional 10 AP... level does not go past 40. The game is incredibly easy even on the most difficult level. You level very very fast doing heroic assault as each new floor gives higher and higher gear. Once you complete the story you can do Showdown with talia and she will drop level 60 gear to every character and the world will then drop level 60 for everyone.

how do you add mods to gear. I can't get any attached to my stuff.
on your equipped in your loadout.. push down on the right stick.. mods will pop up and u pick whichever one u want
all I have is health. I can only assume that you gotta be ng+?
When u get level 80 gear I can get the fox mods at 80

Ayo, idk if somethibg changed or not but I've been getting lvl 61 gear from floor 1 of heroic assault.
BTW, you didn't create a Legendary health mod, it's a resistance mod. Health + defense.
Yes.. kind of a situation were you look at something, know what it says in your brain, seeing what it says in your brain but something different comes out of your mouth lol. I do make those mistakes sometimes for sure.
I have a distinct feeling they may have changed the rules with the patch this past Wednesday. I've followed the recipe exactly and it's not working for me.
that is weird, i have heard others say it doesnt work either but it still works for me.

= legendary defence
7 mins past he still reads what he sees on the screen
The storage caches on new game+ after you have lvl 60 gear give you lvl 60 heroic fox mods on each time you run and beat the game.

I tagged along with a strong group on level 30 or the highest room on heroic assault and snagged that armor, it was very cool to do the new+ and keep getting 60 heroic mods but yeah you need to have the armor sadly

Man, many thanks for this whole explanation for the mess of design in this game... Now a silly question here; Where do you find the elemental mods at? Cause I have completed my first gameplay and I'm now on New Game+ and I never got to find any of those elemental ones. Are they part of the heroic assault and can only be found on the higher floors within it? Many thanks in advance and keep up the good content 😉
Very welcome. Elemental suit mods do NOT drop in open world, the crit chance and damage mods also dont seem to drop in open world either. Both of which can only be found in Heroic Assault on any floor for the time being.

@@kiskumen2 yes, it currently is only found in heroic assault and yes based on floor difficulty but only in the sense that it is based on the enemy difficulty.. so floor 15 drops level 40 stuff bc the enemies are level 40 but you also need to be level 40.. floor 16 drops 41 stuff and so on.
How do I get the blue not health mod? Where can I get it fast?
u cant really get any blue "fast", but try low level activity and activities that have u collect things or open chests.

@@Mal_Morningstar no.. its very difficult everywhere.. if u need the rares to be lvl 60 id do open world.. but if u can use them at any level id maybe do heroic assault especially the chests.
My game glitched where all I have for suit mods are health mods now. Also I can't level my guys past 30. Weird
if u mean player level its bc u need to start New Game + to go to 40.. if u mean gear then u need to do a showdown challenge and then the city will start going up

@@TheDanny its like that for everyone.. its super hard to get.. the last update screwed up gear and mod drops pretty bad. i get maybe 1 in 100 and that is it.

never fuse crit chance mods together.. i have tried it multiple times and u never get a crit chance back.

Ik this is late but I love this game and been playing it recently they added the kelvin incident which starts at like lvl 60 I did that at lvl 29 and got mythic lvl 60 gear with four mod slots🫣
Your system may only work on PC because I tried it on my console and it doesn’t work you still have to use 4 legendary to get one. Why don’t we just forget that challenge

I wonder what's better 3 legendary Mod suit or 4 Legendary Mod suit
Personally i think the 3 mod suits are better in general.. there are a few exceptions but most 4 mod gear are "modular" elemental and those properties on the pieces are not very good. Even though u can add an extra mod the 3 mod gear pieces are better in almost every way i think.. besides for the very few exceptions.

its really tough.. i farm low level activities and the activities that have those chips or chests in it that you collect. i think with the past update they made the drops worse that before.

ya they certainly stopped dropping almost completely for me as well.
How should I build Robin
robin is design for elemental damage.. so personally for me i like the things that give lots and lots of momentum regen.. and stack some elemental melee and range.

@@caiwenji5855 i wouldnt farm anything until you can farm level 60 gear and mods. until you are there i would just focus on story

enemies scale up to and can have level 60 drops now but its console only im pretty sure

I only fuse mod chips to get rid of them... I never care what the result of the fusion is I just want less clutter
ya me too.. i only do it to delete them at this point. they are beneficial for lower level players but for end game they are not helpful in the current state of the game

One person told me that the kids only work best on PC and not the console, I’m not sure if that’s correct but I will tell you I don’t see any difference with or without mods. Mods are crap in this game and still hard to figure out infusing

i personally have not noticed much of a difference between pc and console when it comes to mods.. BUT the PC is what I use for downloading actually game modes and datamines so I dont really play it the same on there. Either way, mods are not game changing or anything special, just gives moderate boosts to certain things and in the right builds and gear they can be useful. But again, they could certainly be implemented in a much better way.

Doesn’t work. The highest you can fuse is epic. Maybe a month ago but not as of a well ago

I don't even bother with the mods the mod screen just looks very off putting, messed up and time consuming to even consider. They could have simplified it. Its the worse system I've ever seen for modding gear. Will watch your video though and hope it will be all worth it
yes.. the system is definitely one of the worst ive ever seen as well. half the mod chips arent available at lvl 60.. some of the mod chips needed for legendary fusions seem to be next to impossible to find.. legendary fusion isnt even available in melee or range, and thats just the beginning of the issues. very poor planning and design for sure. but u can still get something out of it if u know what ur doing, so hopefully this helps.
