A dog ran out suddenly onto the highway. I instinctively swerved to avoid it. That sent the trailer into a rocking motion, bouncing from one tire to the other until it popped off the hitch. Thankfully, no one was hurt and the only damage was to the trailer.
thank god for that im currently building a military trailer chassis with a land rover defender tub .the roof tent will be about the same hight as yours and i was thinking yours may have rolled due to the hight.@@johnnyhousewright5062
The guy I bought it from did not weld it very well. But the reason was a dog ran out into the interstate, I swerved to avoid it sending the trailer into a fit. It popped off the hitch and landed on its side, causing the bad welds to break.
