@gainzgaming1 I think Lc/alex is the better pair for multiple reasons over gorgo/lc. First being march speed. Gorgo offers absolutely no march speed to pump what LC has to start with. This makes the march very vulnerable to swarming and a slightly better trading march means nothing if it's caught and swarmed. Infantry relies heavily on march speed for longevity. 2 is mb support. Alex debuffs up to 3 enemy marches making them take 30% more damage for 4 seconds, where gorgo only has a 10% chance to make the target take 30% more normal attack damage with a cooldown of 8 seconds. Alex's is guaranteed each time his active skill goes off, gorgos is never guaranteed. 3rd, most of us already have alex. Gorgo is another 690 sculptures for maybe slightly better single exchange trades. Totally not worth it in my opinion. But to each their own brother!! Great content nonetheless!!! Thanks broski 🫵😎

I run the same two infantry pairs as you. Look for Guan to get a serious museum buff in August 2024. There is no way Lilith let's Guan die away with the next infantry release as he is too important to Chinese history. He will probably get a bump in skill damage and a health bonus because he needs it.

I still use Cheok on my alt account with scippy. Lots of synergy between those 2 commanders. Lots of march speed and skill damage taken reduction

Now that WILLIAM WALLACE is released what other commander aside from Liu Che we could use along with GORGO and should she be primary as well?

Sargon is a bad investment i wouldn't recommend anyone put gh into him (if ur only running 2 inf marches and a low/f2p player)
. i have a tendency to go against general advice , so i maxed sargon.
all his skills are good and strong ,but in actual results lilith have made him average.
Long story short , bad investment
I find it weird when i see Guan lasting longer than Sargon, or william doing much better , though they have mid level damage and no tankiness

@mentalist9167 I think the biggest problems with sargon is his hard lack of march speed, and his single target damage over time, making it easy to just walk away from him. He makes a better structure swarm commander than a true field commander. Guan has a super sick silence that has crazy synergy with one of the best inf commanders in the game. Without scipio, he probably wouldn't be as great as we know him to be.
@@GrowmietheGreen If you check sargons kills in canyon you will see that he has mid level damage. opponents cant walk away in canyon .
Also check pakal, 30% health, skill damage ,shield + healing , upto 45% damage taken reduction.. but he barely lasts as long as trajan.
its all selective nerfing in the background.

I want to be an infantry purist and the pairs I think in of are 1. Gorgo Liu 2. Scipi Sargon 3. Guan Leo 4. Papal Harold and then for a faith march maybe a trariq Alex

Hey I have an arguing point. I believe you’re right when it comes to best inf commander is liu but I’ve been working on building my marches on defense reduction and skill damage increase. Even my city skin has skill damage in increase even having the otttoman gives me increases to skill damage. All I’m trying to say is that I feels as if smite damage isn’t beneficial for my role. Also smite does not work with poison stacks which is important for me. So who would you suggest excluding smite damage commanders
With the addition of LC and Wallace into the game, now being the two top tier inf commanders, it’s obvious that Lilith is moving in the direction of smite being the best for infantry. I will need to update this guide to add Wallace into the mix.
Those were good pairings and Gorgo is worth putting GHs since it's good in openfield and garrison. BTW, try to explore the testudo formation if you're pairing with shielding commanders.

I think Alex with double relic is with Liu Che on the same level as Gorgo with Liu Che.

Same bro, lc/alex is nuts, and stupid fast. Just the fact that an infantry pair can be built to be just as fast as many cav marches is crazy. Not to mention how hard they hit, and how much utility they offer to the mb. Slow downs, healing debuffs, instant proc, skill damage debuffs, forcing 3 enemy troops to take 30% more damage for 4 seconds, handing all that out like Oprah Winfrey bro 😂😂😂😂 I could carry on, but I think I got my point across. Fckin LOVE IT!!!
Don’t think so - gorgo liu > lc alex. I have both and gorgo definitely better in muderball for 900 rage cap
I have Alex, Guan, Lui, and Scipio Prime maxed. I'm looking for a 3rd march I have gold heads to max a 3 march should I continue to for infantry or a cavs or archer instead? I would really want to hear your opinions on this

So I have Gorgo/Liu maxed but I feel she is so slow I end up getting swarmed a lot! Would you recommend using Liu/Alex over Gorgo/Liu in the open field? My 2 infantry marches I'm currently using are Guan/Sagon & Scipio/Liu but I am looking to get some better trades if possible!
I think it depends how the murderball looks, I personally love Alex’s march speed for open field
People forget to use territory everytime you can do it! Slowest marches in game will walk faster than cavs if you click on territory or press back with city on territory

You could try this lineup: LC/Alex, Guan/Sargon, Scipio/Tariq, Joan/Nevsky, Huo/William, that is personally what I would run if I had your lineup

@@ramy22000until you see the trades you get from lc/alex 🫵😎 incredible march, mate. And offers loads of support to your other marches, where as gorgo, not so much. In other words, Alex is going to improve your other marches trades a bit. Forcing 3 enemy marches to take 30% more damage over 4 seconds is a big deal. And the 40% attack buff over lc active skill is awesome. My opinion is alex is still a top tier support commander, particularly now that we have LC in the game. It's also way faster than gorgo/lc.

Is lui che/ tariq viable. Im doing scipio/ martel…. Lc/tariq. Should i change it to scipio/tariq… Lc/ martel?
For me, Martel/Scipio is better because 30% more damage Martel boosting AOE Scipio. I use those pair in KVK 4,5 and awesome result

I'd personally consider benching one, and doing lc/alex and guan/skippy, OR if you're adamant about gorgo in the field, do lc/gorgo, and guan/skippy. Otherwise, if you needed all 3, I'd say guan/sargon, skippy/alex, and lc/gorgo. Problem is, guan/alex is going to melt ridiculously fast if focused, so I would avoid pairing those 2 together if you can.

Need 2 more chinese field commanders to complate my ideal ROK line up: all chinese commanders, and 2 for my garrison (12 overall, we only have 11.5 right now, and one of those is no longer available(LuBU); the half is Genghis Khan 😂).

Harald Alex certainly can trade well. The thing about guan scipio is that you don't really expect to trade fantastic using guan, he's there to silence and that's about it

I disagree about nothing being infantry main. I run pyrrhus\ liu che, gorgo \scipio and quan\alex and I don't have any complaints. Pyrrhus \liu che is way better than what people thinks and it allows me to put scipio with another commander.

I think liu/alex is better than gorgo/liu because it is true that gorgo only need 900 rage req high active skill damage and a shield. Alex has march speed shield and damage taken debuff and a hard proc damage. And you can enjoy your early kvk's by investing on alex😁😁😁
facts. I really like LC/Alex and personally don't plan on using Gorgo even though it would be a great pairing, I'll use my KVK 2 investment and enjoy it haha

FACTS
Liu/Gorgo is too slow. My 2 archer marches kill every Liu/Gorgo completely. This Combo is a Piñata on the Field. Better stay with Alex. Guan is weak as f…! Silencing on open Field makes no sense. You swarm an enemy March with 3 or more Marches. Which difference it makes to silence the enemy?
Silencing in a murderball is huge, which is guan's only benefit right now tbh, and I agree LC/gorgo lacks march speed which is why I really like LC/Alex and personally haven't invested in GOrgo.
Zhuge Liang is the best commander in the game. Liu che is not even close to Liang
