+Sugarcoated Nanagrams - AGREE 100% that I have such a special friend! Hope you get yet your box of decorating goodies!!! (Even if it's a gift to yourself!) ;)
Bucket List Retreats - my friend made these cookies for me. It’s a sugar cookie base. She used royal icing and ‘flooded’ the cookies to make the canvas. When you make the icing flavor it with lemon and it will taste better.
@@emiliaw9249 - did you use the Wilton color right brand like I showed in the beginning of the video. That one dries pretty quickly liked I demonstrated.
@@emiliaw9249 - oh no, really? I diluted mine w the water (or vodka) so it was like a watercolor consistency and I used a little on my brush. Try leaving it out over night. I live in an almost desert climate (dry heat in the summer). Another suggestion maybe put them in an oven w lowest temp setting and door propped open - farthest from burner and see if it will dry out that way. Good luck!!! 🍀
Karen needs to HIRE you to paint her cookies... before she goes Broke giving you all her cookies she could sell.. (laughing)... You two would make a great team... Hire me to be the person who Taste Test them... Cookie Control...
@@LifeAfter40IsGood Wow! that Betty Walker needs to get laid or take a chill pill or somethin. idk if that would even help. what a biotch! lol...anyhoo I loved your video and thankyou for sharing. :) oh as far as painting goes do you think regular food dye would work or should it be the gel kind and if so I need to figure out how to make it gel style and save some duckets. guess Ive got some googling to do But maybe yo know off hand. Cheers! & Thanks again!
Meowsers Pedersen - 😂😂. Thanks for your comment and kind words. I was just so excited to receive this gift and wanted to share how to do this technique because at the time I could not find any videos on how to do it.

Very helpful! Thanks for the tip about using water, I was afraid I could only use a alcohol-food-dye mixture. 😁
Haematic AJ - Glad I could help you! Hope you have fun trying this out!
pretty! How much do you use to paint?
Estrela Guia Acessórios - i dip my brush in the color. Looking at the plate, there isn’t very much per color. A little goes a long way.
These looks amazing! How long do you dry them after painted? And how do you store them without the paint smudging in the humid climate? Thank you.
It dries almost instantly since it uses alcohol. No smudging either!!! ❤️
@@LifeAfter40IsGood I placed them in a ziploc bag and the paint started spreading :( any advise?

@@LifeAfter40IsGood that was the same one I use. I store the in a Ziploc bag, and all colors expanded. not sure how to store them at this point.

Karen is a good friend lol.
K H - she IS!! Heart of Gold!
This was so sweet, I could tell how much you love her. I'm just now trying to get into baking and this video made things a little less scary.
K H - Good luck w you’re baking!!!
You can also use lemon extract and dries faster than water, I like it better than the vodka 😄
Ana M - Great tip Ana! Thank you for sharing! 😘

zayn kataw - Thank you so much!

Why do you prefer using water instead of vodka to paint?
I didn't think I found much of a difference, the vodka dries faster. Water is cheaper than vodka though! :)
Really nice video! Thanks for not speeding this up and just chatting! ☺️💝
The Calico Heart ❤️. Awwww thank you for saying this! ❤️
