I think that Vivo is a step ahead in night mode, indoors and portrait. You didnt test the Vivo 2x or the 3.5x for portrait where it really shines and you didnt test the zeiss natural on portrait either. Vivo with ought night mode and with just 1 sec of exposure, usually takes better pictures than the other 2 with night mode enabled and long exposure. You barely mentioned it. But it is a very important feature. Thank you for the comparison though.
11:14 you can see how well Vivo handled the reflection of lights on the ground. Apple and Pixel have light reflections.
The Pixel is simply magical with people, 9:44 looks incredible

I just have a quick question, or request rather. When looking at these photos... Can you let us know which photos are more "real life" accurate as far as the overall scene is (color and tone)? Great content... Been a long time subscriber. ❤️
iPhone tends to take a bit wash out shots from time to time. Vivo on the other hand makes its own colors for the portrait shots but i think that it nailed most of them. Even tho they were much from real, they came out really remorable and Instagram ready. Pixel has weird clipping in the video
Change a couple of settings on the 14 Pro and Max and the images are excellent. Select high contrast in the styles and drop the exposure down to -0.3 it makes a huge difference. I have the Pixel 7 Pro but it isn't as good as the 14 Pro Mad I had before this. It takes great Instagram images but beyond that it is very limited. Also over exposes low light images.

Just want to say that you do excellent camera reviews I am not sure if any other RUclipsr does it better.
Before my current Pixel 7 Pro, I had an S22U and an i13PM, and the Pixel is so much better,so I'm not really interested about the i14PM. If the S23U present something worth switching for then im gonna switch..otherwise the i15PM/Pixel8Pro in the fall will be next. :)

I've been watching your videos for the longest time coz I find it interesting. One thing I noticed is that whenever you have to say something bad about the iPhone, you always hold it back rather, focusing on what is wrong with its competitors. I've been noticing this a lot lately now that a lot of flagship phones were released.

Great video, thanks Danny! Vivo x90 pro+ seems to be the phone to get. Do you have any word on whether a global release is out of the question? I find it hard to believe Vivo only want to release lower end vivos globally. They are not remotely interesting to people who value the high end camera phones

What color option did you use for vivo? Zaiss Natural?
I've seen alot of recent tests that actually has the 8gen 2 chip exceeding the a16 chip in alot of ways, outside of geekbench, so definitely doesn't seem like the most powerful chip at this point

What color mode was the Vivo set on when shooting pictures?
auto, except the one that he mentioned he use zeiss color mode
The more I see, the most I like the iphone's shots. They are "consistent".
Ones from the Vivo are very visual but most times it looks unrealistic and too saturated (like samsung in the s5 era).
Pixel does amazing but I feel that when it makes it bad, it's really bad.

Now, just imagine a Pixel phone with a 1"-inch sensor. The competition would be running away.
They have to change processing as well. Quite often the shots from Pixel 7 Pro look overprecessed because the use the same algorithm as they use on a smaller sensor.

Why is no one talking about network/sim card issues of the pixel 7 pro. I have been having bad issues ( no service for days randomly) with my pixel 7 pro and the only thing google says when i contacted them they are working on solving the issue and there is no specific time on when it is going to be solved!

Ok to keep it totally honest we have hit a tech wall as far as picture and video quality for current flagship phones. As far as tech RUclipsrs and professional photographers, that have to intricately analyze different phone pictures and videos to pick out a “winner”. But the average person taking regular pictures and videos probably can’t tell a real difference in the quality, basically they all are great and have been for the past 4years I would say. Until we get full VR on phones, things are going to be the same for the foreseeable future.
Interesting comparison. All three are very good. I would lean towards the Vivo. Will a global version be released?
About 2 weeks ago I've read global should be issued at the end of January. I'm also waiting for this.

Vivo comes from nowhere , the innovations like in built gimbal video stabilization ziess co partnered , Image processing chip , night shoots they started the 🔥also there was a time only samsung & Apple phones use 2 b compared now vivo being considered among them 4 comparison by mostly all tech utubers is a great thing in itself & its really not a very big difference but the price at what it comes is & its a competitve world so come on this will go on & on........ its jus matter of personal choice , last year the 70 series changed the whole game 80 wasnt that appealing but 90 ooohhh la la am njoying it bro what a camera system ,am a Vivo fan truly by ❤️ , ur doing an amazing job , thanku for ur efforts take care God Bless

what is that 50w wireless charger you are using?
If you want to have 50 watts of wireless charging you have to use the Vivo wireless charger. If you use any other charger the 50 watts will not work.

Which one would you buy taking into account every aspect of the phones?
X90 Pro Plus. Beyond the great camera performance it has: SD 8 Gen 2(which has the best GPU performance of the three chips), best passive cooling, LTPO4 AMOLED screen(latest), 517 ppi(best of the three), UFS 4.0 storage(latest), 80W wired and 50W wireless charging(fastest of the three by far).

@@santiagogladin5651 I guess that is a matter of preference. If you like IOS, then the Pro Max is the only choice. If you want stock Android, then the 7 Pro is the best choice. Origin OS has alot of customization features, so some would choose the X90 Pro Plus.

@@santiagogladin5651 I have not used Funtouch, but Origin is very customizable, everything from the charging animation, lock screen, fingerprint animation, and face unlock to name a few. The only issue is the apps made for the Chinese market (like Jovi), but I just disable them.
Pixel is consistent.. and not as expensive so it takes the price.. but yes it requires a quick pic mode where it can take images of even moving objects.
is funny that on my big screen vivo on front facing video has more details on your face in full hd than the other in 4k so i see no problem with vivo
really nothing beats iphone when it comes to video capture. I hope vivo improves on these part. for still photos, I would prefer Vivo

There is nothing getting close to the x90 pro + right now . Lets see the S23 Ultra . Though i got my doubts.
The S23 will still use a small sensor - so once again noise mecca in low light. I also won't have the zeiss coating and technology to bring out the shadows and retain detail in hightlights like the vivo. They know the s23 will sell like hot cakes, so no need to make drastic improvements. Same strategy Apple is using.

The vivo doesn't do it for me. Yes, night mode is impressive but it super over saturated in some shots, the front cam doesn't look all that good either. Pixel wins here for me

That's why the Vivo has Zeiss Natural mode, for those who prefer a natural, less saturated look.
Vivo have superior hardware and software while Google cheap out on hardware again for another year and rely on software to make it acceptable

Vivo X90 Pro+ looks great to me. Too bad the front camera is the only concern, but the back camera is impressive especially the detail in shadow and overexpose area.

Or buy a certified refurbished pixel 6 pro on eBay for half the price of the pixel 7 pro. It provides 90% of what the 7 pro does for half the price. Bargain right now.ost people only upload to social media anyway and edit them and put filters on them, then the photo is compressed and destroyed anyways.
I took a family portrait at Christmas with the 6 pro and printed it in 12" by 16", it looks great. Most likely the phone you have is more than capable.

vivo x90 pro wow... really2 impressed me alot , their performance for gaming is amazingly good much better than ipohone 14 pro plus and the photo camera is better , iphone 14 only wins on the video performance i admit that. so overall i prefer vivo but when it come to style and accessories iphone still wins it.

The iPhone 14 pro max is very heavy to hold and uncomfortable to hold for long time media consumption ..
I sold it and bought the OnePlus 11..
Vivo for everything else just not for the front facing camera.
