When the man who brought two regulators into reality says, "i've never heard of this" at (0:18) you feel sarcasm all the way. I think this industry owes you a lot @ErnestRowe
Hi Ernest, watched the video twice. Surely when you open the first reg to bleed the pressure off you altered the setting on it?? Can you clarify this as I've a .25 Compact on order already, many thanks for the great vids by the way.
You open and close it just a mm. Nothing that will effect the relationship to the second reg as the two need to be just in the range of 25-40 BAR difference
After watching this video again, I noticed the same thing. I was looking through the comments to see if anyone else caught it. You did and he explained, done deal.
Thanks for the info Ernest. Btw Daystate had a dual reg on one of their FT 12ftlb rifles before they went electric. Model name escapes me at the mo possibly CRX.
Hi Ernie,I'm confuse as you adjusted the first reg to 175 and then you adjusted it again to adjust the second regulator.shouldnt both regs be left untouched once set.help me out please as I've just ordered one thanks my friend.
Once you set that first reg then you went back to it to bleed pressure doesn't that now make that reg go up more than the 170 you had it set at because you obviously unscrewed that reg to bleed the pressure so when you tightened it back down to stop bleeding pressure you now are no longer set at 170? please explain how you bled the pressure without changing from 170!
Well, just did this whole thing on my Maverick. I had to twist the first regulator just a tiny bit in order to degas the rifle. On some videos by just dry shooting it bleeds the air, but in my case it was exactly as on this video - no degas happened until I twisted the regulator just a little bit
you're right , after setting reg 1, bleed air, close reg2 reintroduce air ,slowly adjust second reg to desired pressure. aeac vlog is the better guide,
Hi Ernst when I turn the brass second stage screw (at 2.13 minutes in the video), rather than an internal sound of air movement, I have air escaping from the brass adjusting screw, a bit like a bleed screw. Is this what should be happening? Thanks
Hi , this is Mathias from FX . This isn’t correct. The adjustment screw when backed out to far causes this as the sealing oring gets passed the sealing wall on the inside . Or if you didn’t back out to far the orings on the adjustment screw need replacing . Hope this helps

@@FXAirguns Thank you Ernest. Not a big deal, don’t even have my Maverick yet. I just wanted to know if they were compatible. Have a good one and thanks for the reply. Stoti
Ernest when I tried to set the second regulator after setting first to 180 , after bleeding when I turned the set screw the guage never moved . Air was leaking out of the set screw . I bled the system and started over , filling the bottle to 250. No air goes through the plenum. opening set screw on either regulator air leaks out of either set screw . Blown o-rings ? The reason I adjusted is i bought it brand new and saw that second regulator was reading 120 , so I wanted to set both high and low. 180. 150 . Setting the first to 180 went as if should .Bled , and when i tries to set to 150. the 2nd reg gauge never moved at all .
Trying to learn from you but it’s not working out well on my end. Just not letting air into the regulator. I actually damaged the 2nd regulator because no air will go back into it.
So is this making the Impact obsolete? Are we gonna see a drastic price drop in the Impacts? Sorry for the maybe silly questions, but I truly don't understand, if this is more efficient rifle and can produce more and very consistent shots why would someone now purchase a $2000+ Impact? This rifle IMO is a hybrid of the Wildcat & the Crown with chocolate syrup and a cherry on top.
You forgot the whipped cream! But certainly won't make the Impact obsolete. The Impact is like the high end race car with some very unique adjustments and ability to mod. Maverick and Impact are both pretty much the same power and similar efficiency. Though the double reg on the Maverick is a big step forward. But the Impact isn't going anywhere.
Goodnight. I'm Ricardo from Portugal and I follow your channel. I want to ask a question because I am going to buy an FX and I need to decide which one: What is the most powerful weapon in joules in Cal.22? Impact or Marverick? Thanks

Ernest--question about my maverick. The final regulator adjust screw is rotated too far towards the top of the rifle. Can't get my normal long hex drivers in there bc the barrel is in the way. Only way I can adjust it is with a stubby end of a hex and turn it about 1/3 of a turn at a time (can't get the hex all the way seated). How does one disassemble to rotate the adjustment screw more towards the side where it's accessible? @FXAirguns

My mavrick does not seem to have the second regulator valve??? why and how? got it yesterday and there is no power limit in my country. have they chnaged the placement of it or??can anyone help..
If I want to fire at 110 bar, the other regulator would have to be at 150, if so, could I only fire until I have 150 bar left to maintain the pressure difference?
Preferably Yes, shooting below the regulator pressure of 150 could effect how the regulators interact. For best results if the regulator is set to 150 only shoot down to 150.
I followed this video and was close to getting where I wanted and now it just degasses when I put the bottle back on. I have no idea what went wrong. I wish I would have read these comments before I tried it, I wouldn't have done it.

All depends what caliber, length of barrel and at what speed of ammo you want set in max - min on the power wheel. 25-35b between the 2 reg is the recommended setting.
