Dankie san.......
I absolutely love this woman so much, I'm not Xhosa speaking but her artistry is beyond the language. I remember singing along with little understanding to what the song really meant but I was hooked nonetheless. I've bumped into her on several occasions and everytime I've spoken to her I left with a hug and a smile, her humility is so genuine. ❤❤❤
DjSbu+Simphiwe Dana=BlackGold 💪
Myself+My son=We found comfort in Zandisile when I lost my daughter(sister)

I thought I was the only one who saw that
@@StuffyNickel315 Great minds think alike 😎
I'm always amazed by the quality of Zandisile. The reach texture and depth of that album is just out of this world.
One of my favorite performances by Sis Simphiwe was when she performed with Asa at Zoo lake. I had goosebumps. Lol couldn't stop crying. That's how haunting her voice is
I was there
I love how she's so calm in her activism.
Spiritual revolution is a harbinger of something great coming....!!! Camagu Sisi!!! Ndawuwe👌🏽❤️🙏🏼
the love i have for this women 😍😍and her proudly African music❤🥺
Other artists should learn from Her esp ... Shes a natural mentor n Her energy is positively contageous to enrich others...
Thank you so much for creating platforms like this ! Definitely one of my absolute favorite artist, not only because I’m Xhosa but because she is beyond amazing. Excellence is definitely her code and she deserves nothing less when one hears the the amount of work she puts in her art. She is really at the caliber of Aretha Franklin,Miriam Makeba, Busi Mhlongo,Nina Simone, Sade and Eryka Badu.
The legend and iconic Ms. Simphiwe Dana our very own Mama Mirriam Makeba and Lauryn Hill. Keep on shining and being inspirational to us.
@Lesego Sirungwa *ululates* well said, well said!!
I wish Sbu could have asked her about the book Pumla Gqola wrote about her music, how that came about? I bet most people are not aware of the fact that her artistry has captured the attention of academics. We are looking forward to so much from her.
A Renegade Called Simphiwe
Sister Simpiwe Dana and DJ Sbu you made my Day "its a Biko Street" ,❤
The incomparable. The seminal. The great one. I love Sis' Simphiwe, she's a genius.
I absolutely love this woman..Her music doesn't expire. It speaks to the soul...Each and every time
This was so beautiful, I love how she's so content, and simple... Sometimes I wanted her to expand more on her answers, but the two or four words she spoke were enough, for that time... Great

Simphiwe Dana and erykah badu are the same musical breed🎶 very rare
I looooove Simphiwe so much. She is gorgeous and her music speaks to me 😘
It's true when they say black don't crack. She's so beautiful. I'm a Sepedi speaking person but when she sings I hear every last word. Her and Thandiswa Mazwai keep me going during my dark days. Thank you Sis for making music not for the sake of music but making it with passion.
Moya is the beautiful, healing experience... thoroughly enjoyed it. We are waiting for more!!

Wow... Beautiful soul... What a phenomenal individual.! Years ago I went to see Simpiwe Dana, she was performing at the Bat center in Durban... I enjoyed the show and had a feeling that Bat center is and was too small a venue for such an Artist... Makwande sana... Your music heals...
I enjoyed this interview, so much depth. She's also so beautiful.

Great interview Sbuda with Simphiwe Dana, I love her music
Oh! Wow... You know... the thing about podcasting...is it makes us views feel like we are living closer to the person we are watching... We get to listen to real stories and react naturally to words that speak directly to our own experiences ... I love honest conversations regardless of whether they are educational or inspirational... I enjoyed this interview Sbu, it was flowing and really felt like a conversation... Simphiwe Dana is my crush in music and in real life... Love her to bits... I love the fact that you guys didn't shy away from talking about your age, I'm also in my 40s :) 44 years in fact... and that you made the conversation about politics and culture more like my favorite cappuccino... It was a very insightful talk indeed... Big ups S'buda!!! Nathi sinithanda nonk' emakhaya...

Siphila ngengoma 🎵🎼💃
I have a big crush on Simphiwe Dana gosh!
Another great interview! 😁🔥
Personally, I think you should stop asking guests "What do you wanna be remembered as?". I know it's not copyrighted, exclusive or anything like that but it sounds a lot like MacG.
Let's please stick to "In 20/30 years from now you'll be....". Just my honest 2 cent as an active viewer/listener of this podcast 😉
Stop watching Macg, 😂
I love love Simphiwe Dana❤️
Soulful voice 🎶
Am loving her humble and beautiful soul ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and I can relate to the ' my theory ' part she has just mentioned , very rich and profound 🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏
Love your show Sbuda keep up the good work 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Sbu connects with his guests so well and I love it ❤️👏
There's an awakening happening with a lot of black people now. Long gone are those days where we embrace spirituality of other nations while we have always had our own. Thokoza
Simphiwe is like a quintessential Goddess, Im fascinated by everything from her poise and just how she carried herself throughout this interview. Another great episode Sbudah!
Here for Simphiwe Dana, I know we are about to get schooled.
Dj Sbu I been on this interview for a while nd thank you so much 😊 and I’m looking forward to watch it every day keep rising bhuti omdala
This is a beautiful interview, I am impressed by both the interviewer and the interviewee, however, I feel that djSbu did not follow up on Simphiwe bait when she spoke of her pain, she alluded to this pain she would not like it on anybody more than twice and Sbu did not ask any follow up questions on it.
Ewe!!!
Thank you Sbuda... Great interview man
Very passionate about everything, love her

Another Great Interview 🚀🚀
Awe, awe
It would be dope to interview Sho Madjozi before she embarks on her European Tour. I would also like to see an interview with Zulaika Patel.
Please add Lieutenant General of SAPS Dr Sibongiseni Thotsejane to your list of powerful women to interview. I heard her being interviewed on The Touchdown. She is a powerhouse. Expertise: Big Data Analytics; ICT Policy; ICT Technology Innovation and Development; Qualifications: PhD, MSc, BSc (Information Systems); Sector: ICT/Telecoms.
Wow
She is a real mbogodo, she comes across as soft but strong asf… noticed when she checked Sbu about the “women in the industry raising kids” yeah that’s what a mbokodo women does, she’ll call you out real quick. Great podcast kodwa 🙌🏾
thank you bra Sbu for bringing us uSIsi
I love this woman so much, I love her sound I think she's has a unique sound in the music industry. I was so happy to see this interview and I couldn't wait to click on it but I was left longing for more from her cause I feel she's such a bad interviewee cause she doesn't go to the depth of answering to questions posed to her and that left me expecting to hear more about her story. Maybe, it's not her but my expectations that disappointed me. Maybe saying she is a bad interviewee is not the word I was looking for but I feel like I didn't get her true story from this interview compared to the powerful music she has put out there. DJ sbu is such a good interviewer because of his ability to listen and not interrupt but on this one they had equal share of talking, it feels like they were interviewing each other.
Love her From 🇳🇬
I loooooovvvveee this woman❤️❤️
Thank you Sbu. This was inspiring! She is very insightful
Build the Virtual Mkuku now (2022) not then (2023) we highly waiting here. It's my opinion 👊. Otherwise enjoying every moment.
