She reminds me so much of Mama Mariam Makeba, if you watch her interviews she is so reserved almost shy and yet such a powerful voice. Simphiwe exudes the same spirit. Don't be fooled by her demeanor. She is a force ! Such an inspiration, so smart. Love her ❤️

She mentioned something very significant that even though she liked to look beautiful, but that was not a dependency for her carrier. Instead, her strong point was her intellect and who she is. The self love first of being black. You can hear it from the voice, she doesn't sound like anything she's not. But you can hear a Xhosa or an African speaking English with outstanding context due.

I've been thinking that I am weird... I always want to hold my brothers hands when we walking but most of them don't like it so I had to stop it. and most of the time I do this so unconsciously, it just happens nje. Unfortunately a very close brother of mine who didn't mind me holding his hand passed on In 2015 @ the age of 20, were of the same age...

Dineo's so right about Zulu men walking hand in hand. I see that a lot in rural areas and it definitely has nothing to do with sexuality.

And it's something still prevalent in some parts of Asia. I remember watching a clip of Europeans asking an Asian woman why this is not seen or identified as homosexuality and her response was to question why Europeans are so obsessed with naming every act instead of letting males who want to hold hands be.

@@ziziphohokwana626 Wow, interesting. They're correct too about this obsession with labeling and categorizing everything.

The Bible talks about men kissing! Please it’s not Christianity’s ‘fault’ that we have sexualised everything!
