"Enlightenment is not an experience. It is not something that happens to you. It is not something to be found. It is simply the recognition of your being. Of the nature of your being". Simply beautiful.
@@aboveandbeyond9844 ..and therefore also can be seen?^^....and therefore it is not me^^ u got the point. I am not in the enlightenment region but I consider myself at least awakened....and that 'awakening' was not a recognition or an experience....it simply IS...have no words to explain it better...
@@TheHoriyoshi... Thanks for responding, I appreciate you doing so. You say that "...and that 'awakening' was not a recognition or an experience....it simply IS...". Thing... Well... Is... For anyone to have realization of "...it simply IS..." requires "...a recognition or an experience..." (and to be clear, "...recognition..." and "...experience..." are one and the same). This is the reality of being... Which is required for there to, well, be an "...I...". If there is not being there is no "...I...". And once there is a being... And therefore and "...I..."... There is "...experience...". Simply put... Being/existence... "...I..."... And experience... Are all the same thing. To be awakened (have an "...awakening...") is only possible to that which has being... And the very definition of the word "...awakening..." implies a being, an "...I...", and an experience. There's no way around it. Perhaps you have no words to explain it better because your "...I..." simply wants it to seem that way in order for your "...I..." to satiate some ego need. A phrase often used in the normal human world of communicating is "...I'm above that..."... And often, in order to try and differentiate ourselves from others in our own minds, we choose to ignore the obvious (fool ourselves). Suffice to say, there can be no "...being...", no "...I...", and no "...experience..."... Without a source by, in, through, and for which "...being...", "...I...", and "...experience..." are made possible.
The clarity descends as we understand that awareness/consciousness is not 'me' - rather that 'me' is a something in awareness/consciousness. If the awareness is perturbed by what it is aware of then it is a 'me'. Only 'me's are perturbed. 10 years ago I would say to anyone who cared to listen that 'I am awareness/consciousness ' - it was something I had read in a book or heard a teacher say to me. It is the realisation that 'me' is something in awareness that changed everything. Awareness/consciousness is not perturbed by feelings- only a 'me' is. Addiction to the spiritual path is a result of the 'me' being perturbed by feelings and sensations and wanting them to not be - 'me' wants to be distracted from them. The 'me' wants to be free of feelings which 'me' says are unpleasant. It is the 'me' that says 'when I am enlightened I will be free' Awareness is not perturbed by the presence of 'me' - it doesn't mind anything it is aware of.
The trouble with the "me" is it desires the pleasant but finds the unpleasant undesirable. They are two sides of the same coin, and so it cannot have one without the other. It only thinks it doesn't want to suffer, but it absolutely loves its suffering and drama. Consciousness' illusory separate self is an unconscious split mental activity and a learned mental conditioning. The "me" doesn't want to admit that it loves its suffering as well but feels guilty so it projects itSelf as a negative entity it calls the "ego." Eckhart Tolle calls this the "pain-body," the negative entity of the body-mind persona that arises only after Consciousness arises from dreamless deep sleep, or Pure Awareness. It is Consciousness in its game of self-ignorance (externalization/superimposition) identifying with its own projection of a "finite mind" which is merely content in Consciousness. Consciousness itself is an illusion in the subtle form of a transient Awareness, a modulation of intransient Pure Awareness. Awareness doesn't mind because ultimately it is without mind and Consciousness. Its illusory nature is relative. Its true nature is Absolute.
@@youarewhatyourelookingfor4496 Well it is word soup after all. 😆 It’s much better that it’s not easy to talk about, the words don’t really do it justice. You must go within, and self-inquiry is the direct path to going within and going beyond the mind, and experience it directly. That’s what I mean by “better” as you experience it directly and the mind cannot get in the way or cover it up with thoughts and a conceptual narrative. Your name holds all the truth, by the way!
Im starting to be addicted to these talks. Rupert is one of the most patient teachers I've had the pleasure of watching. He is the light. I am thankful that we have real spiritual masters leading us directly to spirit.

Because the Shift that happened is still here. Still awake. Still free! So your comment does not Match with my own experience.
Great!! According to Rupert enlightment is the end of any kind of expectation and the acceptance of the present moment as it is. We hear that 1000 times but never make the klick
Enlightenment is the end of identifying yourself as a person, a personality, a separate self. It is the the realization that the you that you THINK you are isn't Real, and has been self-constructed, manufactured by your own mind, and all of conditioning and programming you've experienced. Does this seem clear?
The acceptance of the present and the end of any kind of expectation and desire leads to the "brainwashing" and retardation of the human mind back to a stone or a vegetable after the mind has evolved during billions of years to achieve the current performance of the human mind to want, to imagine, to create and to materialize the desired thing. There are "spiritualized" civilizations that after thousands of years of "spiritualized" oriental teachings still live in the greatest chaos, misery, poverty, stupidity and ignorance in spiritual, mental and material plane.
@@carriegracefexa2598 thank you for that response. It may be the clearest I've ever seen. But I want to ask you a question. What happens after death? Please tell me what you and Rupert and Mooji would answer. Maybe you have a link where this is discussed? Thank you again!
Once you recognize your true self you will recognize your power as well. The whole nervous system will flip, body will go through changes you will experience everything the body goes through, the experience will be entirely your own.❤️
Remove thoughts, remove your body, remove every experience, past present future, remove your name, remove your job, remove everything, what do you find - enlightenment! Peel every layer. You are enlightened already. Mind is a monkey mind, don't attach yourself to it, you are separate , you are pure awareness. It's a constant practice for me, constant reminder
@@aboveandbeyond9844 Nah, I'm with Alan Watts there: "The biggest ego trip is getting rid of your ego," Besides, I think an "I" trying to get rid of itself is like trying to pull yourself out of a swamp by your own hair... doesn't work.
@@methei... For lack of a better word (pronoun), I agree with you. I'm just trying to get some understanding of why there are people who choose to think that they can get rid of their "...I...", or come to a kind of realization of their "...I..." as the center and source of their being. To me, this is all convoluted mumbo jumbo speaking that constantly contradicts itself. I pointed this out in a very thoughtful comment that was quickly deleted from this page. One point I made was that you can't have a realization apart from experience, which means that Spira's speaking regarding this was foolish. And I've asked some questions for clarification but have not received any straight answer. I don't know who Alan Watts is, but for sure trying to get rid of your ego is an ego trip... Of that Judeo/Christ scripture is clear, and I try to hold to what this scripture tells us. And yet... Human history has exposed man as having no way of saving itself... So then what?
This is again a great video! Rupert's conversation was really powerful. Finally the lady needs to understand that even the urge to find something more, the feeling that something is missing is her live is also the mind. She needs to understand that the feeling is not reliable and she is not feeling it from the position of herself.
The woman’s plea for release was beautiful to listen too. I felt like she’d already got it but preferred to be a seeker; possibly for the thrill of finding/feeling what was already implicit in her experiences. Craving for enlightenment seems to be the complementary pair of letting go of craving for enlightenment. Cultivating awareness of and appreciation for this profoundly dynamic (ever-unfolding and uncontainable) interdependence of opposites has helped “me” discover and rediscover the mutual reinforcing qualities of whole-ness and individual-ness. I love how Rupert points the way to wholeness/oneness (enlightenment) through a process of deeply exploring who “I am”.
Nice. Agreed. I hadn’t thought about polar opposites, being mutually exclusive in relation to this. I love being a “seeker“ and I love my suffering too. the action figure does anyway. Interesting view. Nice sights
@@youarewhatyourelookingfor4496 thanks for your thoughts. I assume your action figure also loves standing on the top of the mountain you’ve extended yourself to climb. The mutual interdependency of effort and achievement is like that of seeking and finding. The ultimate challenge is what do you do when you’ve “found” what you’ve been searching for? In the past, I’ve tended to put the diamond back in the dirt and forget, just so I can keep searching. These days though, the seeking and the finding have unified into a deep appreciation for their interdependence at the level of my action figure and a deep contentment and detachment from either state at the level of witness consciousness.

@@AJ-nf9rg yup he’s clever but not a master. He hasn’t experienced awakening himself but just has a conceptual understanding on it. Very different to the real experience
A hint is that if what you seek requires time, it is not the path. An experience implies time. Self is timeless. It requires no time to realize self. 🙏♥️
Actually, for me, it has made my life better. Awareness of my essence, getting out of my head, meditating daily; life is quite blissful, actually, but being human is also about learning lessons so it’s not a perfectly smooth ride even with the recognition/awareness. But for me, the duration of suffering is lessened because I now know that most of that suffering comes from the false narratives of my past conditioning. And I have far fewer expectations, though I still have “intentions” and now I just let them go, and if they are meant to come to me, I’m grateful. Since recognizing what’s spoken here today, strangely, my life is perfectly OK as it is and my gratitude for my peace of mind is bringing me a lot of those things I used to be driven to have or achieve. And he’s right: once you’ve found that peace and happiness you don’t need to be on a “path.” You just ARE.
Ok, I agree with what you've said totally, thank you. But please tell me what you think happens after death? And if you've heard Rupert or Mooji answer, what happens after death please give me the links. Thank you again.
Sending love and support to anyone having an especially difficult day. Reach out to friends and other support when you can. Keep letting go. You got this!
I liked your comment, but I would put it this way: These individuals caused you to reflect, look within yourself. The awareness and paradigmatic changes come from within YOU.
I like Rupertji, & Mooji!!. To the first questioner. Do not TRY too hard. ‘It’ is very subtle, it is not known (or perceived) by the mind (as in a thought). But is felt by the ‘heart’. ‘It’ is a feeling, like an inner smile or ‘love.’ It is also what remains when ‘you’ are just being (only the feeling of ‘I am’ (period), and not doing anything else (including thinking anything!). It has been described as, “the space between the thoughts.” If you are relaxed, and breathing slowly, sometimes there is a glimpse of this feeling right where your exhalation ends, and before your inhalation begins..Notice this point, perhaps pause a moment and feel.. Namaste 🙏
The woman is so funny and honest, love it!! 😂.. She literally crafted in words the frustration many of us feel. Either let me have it God or take the desire away, that's a fair deal. How can Rupert not get this? Surely you have felt this way too once upon a time.
He gets it. He's trying to help her see that to seek something not already present is to continually overlook what you are seeking. Discarding this moment in the hopes of finding something in the next moment is like a dog chasing its tail (or as the 3rd Zen patriarch wrote, "the faster they hurry, the slower they arrive" - Verses on the Faith Mind).
@@jacquin8511 Well, I guess you are right...Notice how 'fully' present he is with her. I guess that makes all the difference! @@shoonyah this period in history of our world requires the most of us, in the most humble and less humble places and walks of life to realize this simple truth. So don't be contented with yourself chasing your own tail, you're stating in so saying your own defeat. This truth is only saying that before you think, I am, before you feel, I am, when you go unconscious, I am, when you sleep in bed, I am. Whatever misery you're facing, I am is always there and it needs not a one who struggles to find it. Either thinking or not about it, you are You! What you are is unique, only you are the way you are. So pain, lust, need, search they all come to everyone "thanks" to society. But either being lusty or greedy, I am is there anyway. In yoga they teach Nyama and Dyana, the moral rules, in Christianity, Islam and all the rest of religions is the same. Not because it's right, but because they mirror the energy of a Seer, one who finds its own truth is easily unlustful and unneedy. So you can be a Seer now. If you're escaping your own energies you will realise it because in yourself there's psychological future. "At that point of my life I'll be, I'll do" and so on. But by seeing this you can narrow down to now the psychological resolution of your psyche and face now what your mind is preventing you to face, you'll find most likely suffering and by being present and watchful it will be released. So do not postpone the facing of who you are tomorrow and also **do not expect you'll be 100% healed or pure spirit, you're human after all** Face it now, in every Now that you can. Good bless you

Enlightment is not just the recognition of our true nature as happiness, it is the living of this experience , as happiness, contentment every moment ,in the present moment. Knowing it theoretically is easy but worthless. Practicing and living it is difficult. It is this eternal happiness that the seeker is seeking. A living Guru fulfils this desire of Stabilization in Realization - Sirshree.
I liked your comment, I would take exception to the word "difficult" because, as I see it, it is effortless. If by difficult you mean that we go through many attempts in what I call spiritual practice, in what Laozi calls Dào discipline, I agree. However, I still do not experience it as difficult, for even the failures are profound soul moments.
Indeed, it does as it ultimately is love that is entirely unconditional! And the totality of the illusory dream world of separation, along with all the human suffering and dysfunctional insanity, including the spiritual path, is all sincerely quite the playful act from Love's point of view. There is nobody to hold responsible for all the trouble that seems to unfold, and likewise, there is nobody to take credit for the divine intelligence behind all of it in which it all appears to be happening but is actually happening at all. It just SEEMS like it is. Selfhood/individuation is a complete fiction. "To say ‘I do not know myself’ or ‘I have known myself’ is cause for laughter. What? Are there two selves, one to be known by the other? There is but one, the truth of the experience of all." -Ramana Maharshi
That is indeed your spiritual mission. However, a word to the wise, it is not a feeling. It is a state of consciousness, and from that state of consciousness feelings arise. I hope you perceive the nuance.

Great video! So simple and obvious that we don't see it. There is nothing to know or understand. All that is required is to notice what is here.. Still presence. The continuous sense of being that is always here our whole life. Constant, whatever happens in life.
The "I am" is the pure essence, the Christ. Nobody comes to the Father except through our bigger "I", which we all have in common with Jesus, because there is only one mind, there are not separate minds. Love is all there is
If you know the technique of silencing your mind the awareness our True Self dawns. IT shines in our awareness as Awareness / Pure Consciousness. Be Aware of Being Aware. That is called Self Realisation. But it took me 5 years of intense spiritual pursuit to get that shift in my Consciousness. I am That.
I found both absolutely wonderful. Each of them shining throught their unique way to express the Self. Mooji, I found, gives here, a great explanation of this passage of the Bible, gives the key to understanding it.
I know where she’s standing and I do understand what Rupert is saying clearly, but in my own opinion I understand that even for beings like him is not easy to explain in words what it’s inexplicable. He ( as a being ) has to visit the mind to translate and find the closest words to explain in a way we can understand, but still we get confused bcoz it’s indeed for everyone of us an individual experience so we can truly feel it as it was for him, buddha, mooji, Osho, sadhguru etc, you name it. The stories have been told by them! Whatever it was, wasn’t that an experience? We can agree or disagree about this but for everyone of them ( these called enlightened beings , another created word ) they all have described their transitions from their personhood to presence =awakening as a kind of experience, a feeling, a sensation after many years of meditating or seeking in this spiritual path. Some of them have described it like hearing a sound, feeling a vibe, something else, etc. All the definitions, these comments ( including mine ) are coming from our intellect = ego and not from our own experience = intelligence ( for most of us) we are talking from our personality. You can say ok let’s go today sit down and recognize this space inside my body that has always being there and from where everything lives and I react. That’s beautiful and we are searching for it, but is it honestly in our 365 days year experience or it was just for a moment? Why it doesn’t stay? We are all feeling good today and tomorrow we get angry to our neighbor bcoz he/she scratched our car, or we can’t deal with that guy’s ‘opinion who is from a different culture and has an accent. Or you’re angry w/ your boss bcoz he fired you. Don’t we stay in that pain of thoughts blaming everyone, and in that memory for 24h a week or longer? So where this momentary “recognition” went? The day our true experience happens we can say now our recognition is here ( hopefully in this lifetime ) In fact they said we won’t find the words or it will be very difficult to describe it.Otherwise, we are just quoting and saying what we have heard, and read from books, videos gurus, etc. I do know most of us can recognize, observe and see the differences between our personality acting in this society and that beautiful presence, silence, and space from which we see everything as ourselves. We can say I’m neither this body nor the mind and we can observe the observer etc, but all these definitions from where we are trying to find an answer are still coming from our understanding = intellect and not from our true universal intelligence from which all creatures are part of it. The true experience that stays forever in us and we should respond always from. Hence the highs and lows and this duality in our life. This is why he’s sitting in front of us I’m not viceversa. 🙏🏼☺️ The recognition of my being it’s not something I can find by the intellect. Lastly The only thing I recognize in this rehearsal of life is that I know NOTHING and that all my words and understandings are coming from my ego and ignorance. I’m just like a parrot repeating what I have learned. However, I do recognize and I’m grateful for the beauty of talking about a subject that can help all of us to grow up more in this lifetime. 🙏🏼 Id like to say let’s seat down and meditate more to see if one day we can talk from our true experience like he does! These kind of videos help a lot but are also a distraction for our individual and unique path!! Blessings Love & peace to all

"No one comes to the Father except through me", "I AM the way, the TRUTH, and the Life". No one comes to the father except through a revelation of truth. Jesus was a perfect representation of how man really (truthfully) looks, One with God (John 10:30) and One with all men. This is Love, no barriers, no borders, no me and you, us and them. "Love your neighbour as yourself" because he/she is yourself. This is what repentance really means (metanoia in Greek) a change of mind, changing it from a belief that we are separate from God to one where we are in God and thus each other. "He who loses himself (worldly ego) will find himself, the pure world/object-less eternal being, the "I am". "The truth will set you free" (John 8:32). Love you guys.
well, Jesus did CLEARLY go the advaita way....the bible says: no one comes to the father exept through me....so many misunderstand that....and the Catholic church is on top of that and tells you: u have to be catholic otherweise...no cigar. So posessive, like most religions...we are the only hope....yeh of course...xd. While I interpret it as: be as I am ....(through me)...walk my path (of truth)....
This isn’t right. We have to love others precisely because they are not ourselves. God himself is three persons in order to have a subject and an object of love and action. Repentance is obviously a turn away from sin. Not whatever you want to make it out to be.
@@bpeper1365 and yet Jesus says he is one with God (John 10:30) and calls us to be one with him (John 17:21) "that all of them will be one". Jesus didn't invent a new truth, he embodies the truth, he calls us back to it. As we gaze upon Jesus (the truth) we are transformed into the very image of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18). Sin is an outworking of wrong thinking and darkened minds (Romans 1:21). "In our minds we were separated from God by our wicked works" (Col 1:21). It took a perfect man (a man of pure truth) to come into the darkness of life and declare the truth. It is this truth that is the light that shines in the darkness, it is this truth that illumines our lives so that we also become beacons of light.
@@biblescenes "It is this truth that is the light that shines in the darkness, it is this truth that illumines our lives so that we also become beacons of light." This is said from the outside. That light is the utterly simple everyday 'invisible light' that lights up or illumines (every) perception, and without which there would be absolutely nothing, not even the idea of nothing. There can only be error, suffering and sin if that light (of perception) is first there to reveal it. If one can say 'I suffer, I err, I am' then clearly that light is already present. To find out who is in error, who suffers and who sins, attention must turn from 'what the light reveals' to 'what is the nature of this light that reveals?'. To use Biblical language, one must turn attention away from 'man, whose breath is in his nostrils' (which is to say, mortal fleshy man) and towards that light in whom fleshy man appears. In the non-canonical Gospel of Thomas ('these are the secret sayings of the living Jesus, written down by me Didymos Judas Thomas, and whosoever understands their meaning, the taste of death he shall know not') one of the disciples ask Jesus "if I am not this mortal fleshy person that was 'born of a woman', where do we thinking human beings come from?". He replies "If they say to you, 'Where have you come from?' say to them, 'We have come from the light, from the place where the light came into being by itself, established [itself], and appeared in their image.' " The knowing of these words proves the presence of that light.
@@ianjackson3050 I think for the sake of language (also from the outside) the biblical pictures are/have to be concessions from where to begin. "He who loses him self, finds himself", simple expressions like these are the start of asking the question "How can I lose myself to find myself?" Who is the Worldly self? Who is the self that is found when the worldly self is dissolved, lost?
Forgetting and then Remembering who I am/ who we are is a game we play. When the game gets really intense, we suddenly remember. It is an eternal game.

Yes. You must look within. The one who is awake finds words to describe his transcendent experience. The problem with words is that unenlightened seekers cannot seize the meaning from them that enlightened person sees in them. Words form no bridge. You must form the bridge yourself through observation and meditation, through experience and reflection. Your very own understanding is the bridge that connects to the arcane words of a sage.

To get rid of the wanting to achieve something, just let go of the wanting. Realize that who you really are was never "born" nor will ever "die." In that realization is the fulfillment of all wants. And you can still have wants without the distraction of any fear of never getting what you want.

My own experience with 'Enlightenment' was more in the form of an invitation to Ascend. So I would say from my own experience Enlightenment was more than the recognition of one's sense of self. Maybe that is what many people are searching for: The truest unshakable sense of awareness that they are accurately orientated on the Path.
The path to enlightenment is a challenging non-linear path. You'll feel much pain along the way. This is impermanent and will not last forever. All that we seek is ultimately happiness or peace. It does not come to us through activity, objects or relationships. Happiness is who we are. Our essential nature is complete, content, eternal, and cannot be tarnished by experience. We cannot find it out there, because it is our essential nature. Recognizing that truth for all of us, is all that enlightenment comes down to.
I saw myself selling my 2400 sq ft home on 4 acres and moving into a motor home. I was happy with all the things I had accumulated in the home, and I had to give most of them up to live in the motorhome. The home became a place of seclusion, my own prison. So now I live in a 33 foot motorhome that is beautiful inside and out. And it has become a new place of seclusion, another prison of my own choosing. And for now, I am content with this new kind of freedom.

I feel too that through meditation and the recognition of our being we put a space between a thought or experience and the reaction or non reaction taken. Going back to the breathe over and over. It’s also difficult for me to recognize my true being and stay in that state of mind because I am constantly bombarded with the people and experiences in my life. I feel once that recognition takes place I’ll lose all that I love and care about because of my own transformation
In addition to this explanation Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is within you. That cuts out going through an additional person outside of yourself. Interpreting where/what someone is speaking from is paramount.
17:20 - What a great down to earth explanation. One couldn't put it more bullseye than this. . . . . . But, what if you constantly physically hurt because of a disease? How can one find enlightenment when your whole body is in constant pain ?
Excellent quote, but I see it this way: The two are symbolic of duality. When you can conquer duality so that there is oneness, then you will be in harmony with all. The state of consciousness of oneness produces compassion, inclusion, empathy, forgiveness and peace, just to name a few.
@@michaelg1569 What changes my life are my insights: which are the result of my introspections upon my experiences. The paradigmatic pilgrimage leads to the holy land, the sacred space, the center within.
There is what we are constantly as peaceful fulfilled consciousness, and then there is the many experiences, the ultimate thing(s) which you do not explore for spirituality but because why the heck not, nothing you experience will bring you to the place where you already stand, but experiences are mysteriously beautiful and that is all they are. I think the natural evolution from this "seeking of enlightenment" is just pure curiosity and creativity for no self-fulfilling reason, just because that is what intellects which are the human organism do.
No one comes to the father except through me!!! Here the me is the understanding of who me/i is !!! Me refers to ourselves and knowing who we are " Who am I" When Jesus says me he is referring to our self and not to the person Jesus!!!!
Yes, yes and again YES!! You are one of few who seize the true meaning of those words. It's a stumbling block for Christians. The only way to Source is to look within oneself.
So tell us about Abraham. You remember where you were before YOU were born? No. You did not exist. And you will again cease to exist. Man don't waste your time studying this psyops bs that they are doing on people. There's no such thing as "enlightenment". Enlighten is just another word for 'being informed of'. You are already "enlightened", you just don't know it because your trying to chase it when it's already there.
The problem with this is that it disregards the purification of mind that needs to take place in order to attain that which cannot be attained. So it could lead to a lot of suffering because of feelings of inadequacy or delusion stemming from false understanding for the not ripe mind. But it's beautiful to listen to, it focuses the mind on the only thing worth focusing on. I am fully aware that the message undermines my arguments as there is no where to go and nothing to reach, but these are just limitations of mental constructs and language.
The spiritual path is bifold. First, there is the awareness that wisdom is accessible within us, through observation and reflection, through experience and meditation. Then, there is spiritual practice, or Dào discipline, which is the putting into practice the inner wisdom in the context of the present moment.
Achieve the purified " Iness" or the " I am" consciousness with the view point of God, the Holy Spirit, to aquire the God nature, and enter the Kingdom of God.
"Enlightenment is not an experience. It is not something that happens to you. It is not something to be found. It is simply the recognition of your being. Of the nature of your being". Simply beautiful.
Is this "...recognition..." not an experience?
Thank you 😊💜🌟
You are light.
Very well put, thank you 🙏
The trouble with the "me" is it desires the pleasant but finds the unpleasant undesirable.
Perfectly well put! =)

Because we look to the mind for an explanation of the truth.

They know the ways of the mind, so better to go straight to the root.

To me, this is all convoluted mumbo jumbo speaking that constantly contradicts itself. I pointed this out in a very thoughtful comment that was quickly deleted from this page.
One point I made was that you can't have a realization apart from experience, which means that Spira's speaking regarding this was foolish.

I don't know who Alan Watts is, but for sure trying to get rid of your ego is an ego trip... Of that Judeo/Christ scripture is clear, and I try to hold to what this scripture tells us.

This is again a great video! Rupert's conversation was really powerful. Finally the lady needs to understand that even the urge to find something more, the feeling that something is missing is her live is also the mind. She needs to understand that the feeling is not reliable and she is not feeling it from the position of herself.
I could imagine that it is sometimes difficult to switch from the person to the true self. We are not used to remain in the self.

Realizing the Self is both the journey and the moment of awareness, it is both in time and timeless.
I liked your comment, but I would put it this way:
These individuals caused you to reflect, look within yourself.
Namaste 🙏
What you might ‘feel’ there could actually be the lack of oxygen reaching the brain.
Nice 💚

So do not postpone the facing of who you are tomorrow and also **do not expect you'll be 100% healed or pure spirit, you're human after all**

Great video! So simple and obvious that we don't see it. There is nothing to know or understand. All that is required is to notice what is here.. Still presence. The continuous sense of being that is always here our whole life. Constant, whatever happens in life.
This is the great discovery, the great news ❤️🔥
The day our true experience happens we can say now our recognition is here ( hopefully in this lifetime )
In fact they said we won’t find the words or it will be very difficult to describe it.Otherwise, we are just quoting and saying what we have heard, and read from books, videos gurus, etc.
The recognition of my being it’s not something I can find by the intellect.
Lastly
The only thing I recognize in this rehearsal of life is that I know NOTHING and that all my words and understandings are coming from my ego and ignorance.
I’m just like a parrot repeating what I have learned.
However, I do recognize and I’m grateful for the beauty of talking about a subject that can help all of us to grow up more in this lifetime. 🙏🏼
Id like to say let’s seat down and meditate more to see if one day we can talk from our true experience like he does!
These kind of videos help a lot but are also a distraction for our individual and unique path!!
Blessings

Sin is an outworking of wrong thinking and darkened minds (Romans 1:21). "In our minds we were separated from God by our wicked works" (Col 1:21). It took a perfect man (a man of pure truth) to come into the darkness of life and declare the truth. It is this truth that is the light that shines in the darkness, it is this truth that illumines our lives so that we also become beacons of light.
@@biblescenes "It is this truth that is the light that shines in the darkness, it is this truth that illumines our lives so that we also become beacons of light."
This is said from the outside.
Loved this so clear that Infinite Conscienceness Is Our True Nature. Thank You 🙏
Forgetting and then Remembering who I am/ who we are is a game we play. When the game gets really intense, we suddenly remember. It is an eternal game.
The way that can be told is not the way. -Lao Tzu. It’s so hard to put these things into words. At some point you have to quit seeking outside yourself and quiet the mind and let yourself BE.
True, peace comes from a spiritual awareness. The third person (holy spirit) holds a marriage together and provides joy, peace and Love.
Enlightenment is the absence of "you".
I'm very grateful to them both. 💛
I think that this is exactly the main teaching of Buddha. Suffering is caused by thinking that impermanent objects will bring us happiness.
Thank you Rupert and Mooji for Direct Truthful Teachings. Eureka!😊💜🌟
Seeing the I without adornment. Sifting out the addition of identity. Dropping the story of Me. Abandoning the belief of separation.
What you are looking for is within you.You are the source of your happiness and you are the source of your sadness. The ultimate so called spiritual experience is the simple coming and going of this breath, from nowhere comes this power which brings the gift of life and without which we with all our hopes and dreams cannot exist.Recognise the magic that dwells in the hearts of all human beings and bathe not in questions but in love and understanding.💚
Mmmm I am a person the great spirit within us all is a person we cannot fall in love with a white energy or non person to depersonalize our spiritual lives is spiritual suicide it is insanity of the highest grade the ultimate ego trap I am and you are the supreme is illusion?

Are you free from anger and fear, especially sickness and dying?
@@michaelg1569 : You are not bound to anything.
Your points do not give sense. Is the whole idea just to be free from Hunger, sickness and death?
Yes, YOU are creator, cause.
This is absolutely so good! Thank you for this wonderful video......❤
To get rid of the wanting to achieve something, just let go of the wanting. Realize that who you really are was never "born" nor will ever "die." In that realization is the fulfillment of all wants. And you can still have wants without the distraction of any fear of never getting what you want.
John carter s words resonate with me, in particular.
It's like she's speaking for me. So True. Thank you and God Bless Everyone 🙏
Wow enllightenment is the recognition of the nature of our being, perfect
Sounds easy. But even after the recognition, surrendering is one of the most difficult things we will ever do.
He’s wrong on that.
Enlightenment is recognizing that you are an eternal spirit, not a human body. It is recognizing your true Self.

Spiritual practice is not difficult, as I experience it. It is challenging, and I am the adventurer. Difficult makes it sound stressful. I do not experience it as stressful.
Listening to you is always fulfilling, Master.

Make no master to yourself, save the Guidance that is within YOU.
The "I" is nothing other than the "Eternal Now". One and the same.
The path to enlightenment is a challenging non-linear path. You'll feel much pain along the way. This is impermanent and will not last forever. After the dark night of the soul always comes the dawn light of the awakening. If you choose to take this path, there is no turning back. Keep going fellow travellers, we are all on our own journey back to our true selves and oneness with everything!
Pain in the beginning transmutes into delight and peace and connection in the end.
HOW can the highest Hz, essence of all, co-creator of all, of and as which YOU are, be described/experienced as "just being". It never feels that way in me. Joyously Glorious, energy resonating energy, radiant! Start THERE!
Powerful conversation. Thank you 🙏
I saw myself selling my 2400 sq ft home on 4 acres and moving into a motor home.
Great textual citation by Mooji. Very Vedantic!
Realizing mind essence, aka "the self" , ones true nature, "Buddha nature" shiva consciousness " beingness" "rigpa" "Dharmakaya" etc is just the beginning. Then adjusting to it above all ,stabilizing in it ,realising it's always there when it doesn't FEEL like it or when karma is accumulated etc is the next part from there. Until the realisation that phenomenon are consciousness also....then sahaja or completeness. Not a witness to phenomenon in separation but realising all is consciousness.
it s not the happiness i seek but the absense of suffering...i am myself but the layers of suffering and confusion make it impossible to be with myself and feel compleet.
Teachers invite us to say numerous times during the day, “This is a dream” and “I am the resurrection and the life”
Such an important question for most spiritual seekers. Watch this! 😍
It is much easier. You distance yourself from the paining body and the witness Consciousness thus separated is the Self.
Anbukkarasi Manoharan , I keep trying that but I'm not going anywhere with it. God knows how much I desire to enlighten, literally and figuratively.

She wants understanding. "When two become one, one becomes all." The two are wisdom and knowledge; together, they create power.
yes! one must feel it. feel it. feel the vibration.
Excellent quote, but I see it this way:
The two are symbolic of duality. When you can conquer duality so that there is oneness, then you will be in harmony with all.
The state of consciousness of oneness produces compassion, inclusion, empathy, forgiveness and peace, just to name a few.

It IS the acceptance.
imo, the ego blocks us from acceptance.
Let it Be,it just IS.
Just Greatful ... ❤

So tell us about Abraham. You remember where you were before YOU were born? No. You did not exist. And you will again cease to exist. Man don't waste your time studying this psyops bs that they are doing on people. There's no such thing as "enlightenment". Enlighten is just another word for 'being informed of'. You are already "enlightened", you just don't know it because your trying to chase it when it's already there.
spirituality is a nice little earner.

Any question? Yes! "Me, myself, and I..."
yes! one must feel it. feel it. feel the vibration.
That first woman asks a great question
