Meditation: Awareness of Being Is Happiness Itself

- Find yourself first as the witnessing presence of awareness in the background of experience. Recognise yourself as that and be that knowingly. 'I' is the name we give to the knowing, aware, perceptual element of experience. Simply know being; be aware of being. Awareness of being is happiness itself. Awareness has no form, but assumes all forms of experience. Why do I believe that I am a temporary, finite separate self and suffer? This infinite awareness must seem to become a finite mind. The infinite cannot know the finite directly, so must do so through the agency of the mind. The faculties of perception and thought are the means by which the one appears as many. You, finite mind, are the localised activity through which infinite awareness is able to actualise a segment of its infinite potential in form. As such, the finite mind is the instrument of creativity, of love.
This meditation has been taken from Rupert's five day retreat at home in February 2021.

Very deep and true thinking. It is not simple to understand because it is highly complex. One must come back again and break it down. You are more clear than some of the revered gurus. This understanding seems to dance away from suffering shed light on fallacies and limits on me ego separate self. Thought so fast and cunning as a brilliant magician who under the shells fools us all. Seems like seeing our reflection in a mirror is me but the image is not really me though when mind intervenes, it tries to convince that my ego is real and that it is another being who can truly observe.

Awareness wants to experience suffering so it imagines a physical body and an individual mind and sets it loose on a huge stage.
This is astonishing! I’ve watched/listened to many of Rupert’s talks. This is probably the clearest and most compelling one have seen yet.... but, while this is a great explanation of human experience,, what about animals, plants and inanimate phenomena? Also, while I see a connection between awareness, the finite mind, and the separate self, how does the body fit into this paradigm?

I found my answer. When I create a narrative or when I objectify it is awareness, however, when I just look and add nothing, that's Consciousness. Technically I can't really say this because when I do I objectify consciousness.

....If we change our perception (be concious of the quality of our filter n the pre-existing dirt in it..and be aware of the content of what we are soaking in through that filter) .. we can slowly design our reality consciously! ....The osmosis n reverse osmosis of content through senses must reach an equilibrium for enlightenment then (?)

I wonder. Not sure the mind can do that being that it is like a computor program limited to its data input. The mind seems a reactionary response to a complex integration of sensations, thoughts and continue external interaction.
