All he kept was his MacBook Air. That didnt last two months for he came right back with AirPods Pro, and iPhone 12pro TB version and his watch! Makes sense if you keep your devices for a long time because of their update cycles (nowadays at least 5 years), it evens up a little. For example: You buy an iPhone (1200€) and have about 5 years of updates, which means per year you would have spent 240€ (if you do plan to use that phone for that long). Not every company is able to replicate this feat and those sell their phones almost as expensive as apple does.

Apple has also been against gaming for the most part as the Mac cannot run 99.9% of what I play, let alone the rest of the Steam library. @@_Ace._ But you dont really need samsung stuff to do that. And syncing between devices is important in an age where we surrounded by a lot of them, smartwatches, phones, tablets, laptops, bluetooth earbuds, smart trackers, not mention other family member’s devices.
      My problem with samsung was the fact that i had all of their flagship devices and they didnt really communicate with each other. Watch and phone counted steps independently even though i had both of them with me, it was especially strange when i went for a bike ride started a workout on my watch and my phone counted steps.
      Galaxy buds hated my galaxy watch and it only connected to it if i turned bluetooth off on my phone. They had a partnership with windows so you could sync photos with your pc but it took me a month to set it up.
      And they dont have airdrop or handoff.(now they have something like it i think but buying a samsung tablet after apple putting M1 in their tablet is a bit questionable decision)
      With apple most of my problem is with the airpods automatic device switching. And sometimes cross device copy paste fails but its a once in a week type of thing.

As mentioned, everything offers a quality individual experience, but together they work so seamlessly with each other that the experience is enhanced tenfold. It's all about simplicity and convenience. Yes, one tap after opening the case to connect AirPods. What was missed out, however, was that with that one tap, you are paired with all your Apple devices. One click and you can switch between them with ease. Sometimes it doesn't even take that.

      @Darth Hideous Ah, yes, a mansion controlled by others telling you it is a luxury is simply like living in an insane asylum. Even if it was a mansion, if you were stuck for years in quarantine in a mansion, you would go insane.

    I’ve started with iPod -> iPhone -> iPad -> TV -> Watch -> Mac
    I must say completing “the circle” made my life just easier, I don’t worry if I saved a file or transferred it I just work on iCloud gets synced, all is synced my calendar my reminders my alarms my calls my music it just works so seamlessly so you won’t use your time to fix or sync stuff yes you can do some of the things with 3rd party on windows and android but Apple guarantees you that it’ll work without any extra things you need to do

    I think that the ideal ecosystem has you using one device at a time. When at your desk, you only ever need to touch your desktop, then you can use your laptop when you need to be somewhere else, but you don't need to be portable, then you can use your tablet when you need some portability, but still have some sort of bag with you, then a phone can handle tasks that require you to be extremely portable, and you need to move around constantly or can't have a bag, then a smart watch is good to provide quick notifications and tell the time without needing your phone.

    I have the HomeMini, iPhone 12 Pro, AirPods and the Watch SE & everything works seamlessly. Sometimes i wish i had a MacBook/iPad because there are times where i wish i could just stop doing something on my phone and pick up on another device.

    For me, it all started out with the iPhone 6s I got from work. I hated it as first. Didn’t take long for me to switch from android, and when the time came to upgrade from my HTC, I went with the 8+. Then I got the OG AirPods. Then I got my Apple Watch series 4. Then the AirPods Pro. Now I’m rolling with the 13 pro max, AirPods Pro and Apple Watch series 4. I’m so glad I was given that 6s as my work phone. I absolutely love Apple
