- Hey everyone! I'm excited to share that my first tutorial in my new studio space is now live! In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to paint an acrylic blue cloud painting on a 6x8" MDF board.
This easy painting tutorial is perfect for beginners who are just starting out with acrylic painting. Even if you've never picked up a paintbrush before, you'll be able to learn how to paint your own blue cloud painting!
I had so much fun painting this little cloud and I hope you'll enjoy it too. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill, or just unwind and relax. So grab your paints and brushes and let's get started on this beginner painting tutorial.
Thanks for hanging with me!

Love having you back 💜💜
I really like your tutorials because you take the time to talk through the wise behind the colors you choose, and the medium of canvas you choose, and you’re human. And some other tutorials people just kind of jump right in to the painting and I’m left with a lot of “whys”
Awwwww! That makes me so happy to hear that the way I talk about painting resonates with you! It’s always my goal!
I love the way you teach! I love that you share you sweet dog as well. I have several fur babies! ❤

I was wondering if you’ve ever tried gouache. I just got some and I’m really struggling 😂it’d be super interesting to hear your thoughts on it!
Anyways this was another amazing video!!
Thank you, Sara!
There's a transparent white
That adds to dry time to help wet on wet w acrylics...😊yw
I am waiting for my grey matters pallet paper and my walnut oil alkyd painting medium for my oil paints. 👋🏾😊😁👍🏾 i love you,re fluffy cloud Emily Mackey Art
Brilliant Emily, and welcome back.
Sadly, I'm not overly fond of that greenish tinge you have in the shadows - but then your clouds maybe different to mine...😂
Lol!!! That’s okay! That’s definitely why I gave the option to not add that in the video. For me, it’s all about experimenting with color and pushing boundaries and trying something new! Even if it may risk other people not liking the choices I made. I’ve found the freedom to explore in my painting is far more important to me.
@@EmilyMackeyArt Yeah! That's the spirit!
Slay
That is so lovely. Can you do a cloud tutorial on Sketchbook for those who don't paint on canvas that would be nice.
Thats why artists have so many brushes. So they can trow the dirty ones away🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 LOL i love you,re cloud tutorials Emily Mackey Art

Tutorial + Dog Cam??? Subscribed.
Got a Like in the first 10 seconds of the video just because of the intro😂🥹 she's so cute! Looking forward to trying the tutorial 😊
Americans obsessed with the word super why
"Ew clouds aren't green" a green sky usually means it's summer but you live in Minnesota and ice is a comin' to destroy to tops of your non-garaged car and Dad's new grill!
LOL!!!
I am terrible with clouds, i really need to practice 🩷🩷🩷
