Great work and very helpful! I have the same issue and will get it done now. I was going to charge the whole steering wheel shaft. That would of been like $2 G on parts alone.
Haters will hate lol. Great job dude !

@@ledzeppelinrulez12 I will do this soon I replaced a electric steering rack. Now it has a tonnn of play way worst then before. I used a small van yellow torch to heat up that lower small 12mm bolt it was almost stripping on me too luckily it didn’t and got it out. But now I have to pray that too bigger bolt won’t do this lol I’ll just have to use a ton of heat. Also I will update if this part fixes this steering wheel play. Wish me luck guys

Actually its not a breakdown. Its a picture of the old shaft on and symptoms then of the new one on. Why dont you explain how you took it off? Not talking of your symptoms but showning how you fixed them...thats why we all come here. Sorry, thumbs down for me.

I mean, I made mention several times that there’s only 2 bolts that need to be removed to change the part. I’m sure you can use your imagination to figure out how that works. I also showed the results of needing to drill one bolt out because the head came off. That’s just drilling, also easy to imagine.
I made this video because the other videos on this subject are fairly lack lustre and not for the 2013. I think I provided more helpful information and visuals. Additionally, it was a pain in the ass finding all of the correct parts, which I provided in the write up.
If you don’t like the video that’s fine with me. But if you’re going to do this repair yourself, please let me know when you post the video so I can learn from it.

Watch some good how to videos… they show you step by step. What to move, take off, how to take off, etc. no parts cut out.

@@junglejake I think there’s plenty of information in this video. I’m working on my truck here, I don’t have a film crew, a studio, or camera mounts. It’s a pretty simple process really, like i said, 2 bolts in total. You take the old part off and put the new one on. If you can’t make out the process with the information provided, then I don’t know what to say. I’m trying to help people out here.

@@junglejakebro, this is a great video and the only one showing you how to change that shaft on a 2013. I’m no mechanic and followed it very easily…….
