Your video was very helpful, I was able to do it without taking the wheel off due to my long ams. But still had to get the creeper out to really get the bottom bolt tight.
    Thanks again. Very much appreciated.

Great video, thanks! With this as a guide I just put WD-40 on the intermediate shaft knuckle to prove it's the problem on my 2017 Ram 1500, and then greased it as a short term fix. Part is on order and will do this when I do the brakes and rotors later this month.

Thank you for the video! I went ahead and gave the old u joint a bath with about 2 cans of brake clean while turning the steering wheel. Then took white lithium grease and put it all of the u joint, turned the steering wheel, applied more, and so on. It works great now! Hopefully it holds up, I’ll reapply grease once it warms up. I’m not going to bother replacing it if it keep working.

Your video is a lifesaver. I’m a subscriber now. How much movement of the steering shaft does it take to mess up the clock spring?

Thanks, got the part ordered and will give it a go once it gets here, until then I'll keep spraying it with WD-40 oil which seems to help for awhile.

Sir, i went ahead and replaced the shaft with some used shaft i got from the junk yard. It works fine, but steering is a little tight. The part from the junk yard was almost new. Do you think i need a new one,?

My truck is binding when going left like it gets tight as I’m turning could this be my problem ? I don’t hear anything from the outside only hear it in the truck and feel it inside only

Should be left and right turns like hard sports to turn if only left jack it up support it stands and remove tie rod ends from knuckle and move steering knuckles right to left in both sides to see wicth side is stiff

I'm having the same issues with my 2018 I thought it was the rack but fortunately for me it's not so I sprayed a little bit of WD-40 silicone WD-40 on it it freed up a little but it seems like I have to do it everyday if I want a smooth steering so that being said I think I have to replace the entire setup over there on the the steering system and this video just said give me confirmation that it is my steering components anyways thanks for the video I appreciate it please make some more I'll subscribe to your channel and maybe I can learn how to fix my own God damn truck
