    My hair journey.
    As a child I had my hair relaxed my hair, I didn't take care if it and that ruined my hair. I gotten so many flakes it wad just uncontrollable I also didn't know my hair texture it type. (It's 4c), my has been very short since then, (until recently) I have been doing my natural hair journey for about 9 years, but me wearing my hair out natural has only been about a year. I am 15 and my hair is down past my shoulders.

    I'm 1 year into the natural journey, my hair was long before at my scapula base. I did not do the big chop, so I still have relaxer at the end. Would you recommend that i moisturize my hair with water all the time? I'm still looking for the best way to continue on that journey. Thanks for all your tips. I'm new to your channel. I like your hair.

    • @HealthyAfroHair
      @HealthyAfroHair  5 лет назад

      Welcome to my channel! 🤗 If you’ve always used water to moisturise your hair and it works for you, then keep doing it. I tend to use water, followed by a hair moisturiser, so that’s also another option. Btw, I recent did a video on the LCO Method, which is another way to moisturise your hair, so feel free to check it out; bit.ly/2OvAvox

    I wash my hair once a month when I have braids, and medium heat to stretch it out once a month and when prepooing and deep conditioning and I can see results ❤
    Also it depends with one's hair,I have a friend who washes her hair with dove body cleanser😂, without deep conditioning or any products, she washes her hair only when the ancestors appear in her dream with a slipper and her hair grows like crazy

    I have natural, short hair. I swim once, sometimes twice a week; a mile at a time. I do wear a swim hat and I wash and condition my hair after each swim. What can I do so that my hair will grow and it will not be a problem with my swimming?

    • @HealthyAfroHair
      @HealthyAfroHair  5 лет назад

      If you’re swimming twice a week, then wash & deep condition on one wash and then co-wash on the next one. So basically, you’re alternating it each time, rather than washing & deep conditioning twice a week. Also, make sure you use a clarifying shampoo (1-2x a month), to help remove traces of chlorine...and ensure you’re hair is well moisturised.

    Do not forget that Jesus loves you and wants to spend eternity with him in heaven.
    Flee from sin and turn back to him and repent.
    He'll forgive you and accept you if you accept him.
    Confess him as your lord and savior and believe that God rose him up from the dead.
    John 3
