When she was talking about how the Twitter headlines would be "Halloween Actress Dies", it makes me sad to know it's true. Jamie Lee Curtis is such a gift. She's an amazing person and is one of the actresses I respect immensely.
She's real. She's authentic. That will always be my memory of her. Not just her role in Halloween. She's played in so many great movies. She's an awesome person. She's so much more than Halloween.
For anyone who doesn't know her mother is Janet Leigh who played Marian Crane who was the girl who got stabbed to death in the shower in psycho, but she is still considred the first real scream queen of the 80s

Lol...I like Jamie Lee Curtis, but calling her a genius is stretching things a bit far. She tries to sound smart in her manner of speaking, but then she gets into her pro liberal political views which is a big detraction for me. Being articulate or emotional doesn't make you a genius, she's just a decent actress and that's about it.

When the new Halloween movie was announced I really wasn’t that excited that Laurie would be returning again... I just felt like that story had been told already...but I was dead wrong..besides Michael Myers...Laurie is the best part of this new movie..she was amazing.. and now if they do make a sequel I kind of hope she’s in it again 🎃
I saw this movie last night and it's a 9/10. They hit it out of the park. I'm stunned at how much the writers Green/McBride cared about this history of Halloween. The music by Carpenter is back and perfect and the Three Strode women are great. Will Patton was great too. Im going back to see it on Sunday again it is that good.

Matt Montgomery I thought it was very good but I had a hard time believing it was suppose to be picking up from the original 40 years later. It wasn't totally explained how he went from disappearing at the end of part one to being captured and ending back in a mental hospital. I also thought how easy and predictable it was having Michael be transferred and then escape the way he did.

I love how she talks with so much passion and understanding about her character, you can tell she put some thought in her performance, but I wish it had been more discussed in the movie. I LOVED it, but by the way she talks about it in interviews, I thought they'd be exploring the trauma aspect more in the movie. I wish they had put a scene during which she explains what happened right after this horrible night, how she went to school the next day as though nothing happened, how she didn't get support... Instead, we are presented with her being all paranoid and ready to fight. And it works, definitely. But it does make her seem like a crazy lady somehow, if there had been a scene exploring the immediate aftermath of her story, I think it would have been nice.

Jamie is so likeable and relatable. She is fabulous in the latest Halloween 2018 movie and she gives the film credibility. Also great that she hasn't gone down the cosmetic plastic surgery route and with Jamie it is a case of "what you see is what you get", good for her.

The way she speaks just captivates you and draws you in so deep into what she's saying. I love listening to her interviews about the movie because she seems to care so deeply about Laurie and the movie itself. I would absolutely love to meet her someday but even though there's a slim chance of that happening, I'll still keep loving her. ❤

I normally sometimes skip through but when it comes to Jamie and my most favorite Horror film Halloween 🎃 🔪 I watch the whole thing - The only Laurie Strode’s I love Are Jamie and Scout-Taylor but more so Jamie cuz let’s face it no one can ever top Jamie she is Laurie. Scout in my opinion does a good Justice to Laurie I really can’t see anyone else do Laurie better besides those two but really, there will always be one true Laurie and of course that is the Lovely Jamie-Lee Curtis. ❤️❤️👑
She really elevates the slasher genre with her work on this franchise and she's been doing so since H20 I believe. She adds layers to the performance by almost making it an analogy to tragedies or abuse. Of course in real life people aren't stalked by a supernatural killer, but the way she players the character and the threat, it feels metaphorical. So she deserves huge props by allowing these films to be really enjoyable just on the surface level, but also enjoyable on a deeper level too.
I felt the movie was good. I’m a Halloween & Jamie Lee fan & horror fanatic along w/my husband. It was the audience of the theater that pissed me off. I hate it had so many spoilers on the internet in previews bc some ppl couldn’t stfu & resulted in others 🤫 ppl.. Jamie is incredible in EVERYTHING. I loved “Mother’s Boys.” I’d like to see a remake of that but I think Only she holds that crown to play role, Lol.

The new IT sucked so bad. The reason it made more on opening weekend is because it got more advertisement space than Halloween did. I didn’t see NEARLY as much commercials for this movie than I did for the new IT.
GREAT POINT! If HALLOWEEN had gotten the ad time "IT" had gotten, it would have made $150 million EASY! I remember ads being EVERYWHERE for "IT" but hardly ANYTHING was spent promoting "HALLOWEEN". I wonder why that was?
She's a wonderful woman and I am constantly struck by the fact that she always goes out of her way to mention Debra Hill. Debra, who produced "Halloween," "The Fog" and so many others, died back in 2005. She and Jamie were best friends and it's so nice to know that she keeps Debra's memory alive.

Whom first gained stardom from’78 slasher film HALLOWEEN and went on to star in (insert amount) major movie films. I think that’s a great obituary heading to have! Nothing at all to be ashamed of.
I LOVE how seriously she takes the role, and the character. the way she "sells" Laurie to the camera is quite amusing, as though she's real. i suppose years of playing Laurie (and being paid a fortune for it) will make you speak in such a way. i LOVE JLC. i still can't believe her mother was the legendary Janet Leigh. Psycho (1960) is possibly one of my all time favourite ever 'slasher' films.

the interviewer is so sweet and cute...and giving me a woody. but back to Jamie - great interview. I had no idea she had addiction problems. And I don't recall ANY of her roles in non-horror as being anything less than entertaining and excellent! I will miss the series, knowing this is the conclusion, though - this IS the final installment of "halloween', I guess.
Shew. Holding back the tears at the end of that one. To the interviewer . . . I could tell how nervous you were from the very beginning. It was obvious this lady meant something to you and you pushed through with bravery and I was cheering you on every moment. It's hard to sit in the presence of a living legend, and that woman is a living a legend, and keep your wits about you. You did wonderful.

I normally sometimes skip through but when it comes to Jamie and my most favorite Horror film Halloween 🎃 🔪 I watch the whole thing - The only Laurie Strode’s I love Are Jamie and Scout-Taylor but more so Jamie cuz let’s face it no one can ever top Jamie she is Laurie. Scout in my opinion does a good Justice to Laurie I really can’t see anyone else do Laurie better besides those two but really, there will always be one true Laurie and of course that is the Lovely

She really elevates the slasher genre with her work on this franchise and she's been doing so since H20 I believe. She adds layers to the performance by almost making it an analogy to tragedies or abuse. Of course in real life people aren't stalked by a supernatural killer, but the way she players the character and the threat, it feels metaphorical. So she deserves huge props by allowing these films to be really enjoyable just on the surface level, but also enjoyable on a deeper level too.

I felt the movie was good. I’m a Halloween & Jamie Lee fan & horror fanatic along w/my husband. It was the audience of the theater that pissed me off. I hate it had so many spoilers on the internet in previews bc some ppl couldn’t stfu & resulted in others 🤫 ppl.. Jamie is incredible in EVERYTHING. I loved “Mother’s Boys.” I’d like to see a remake of that but I think Only she holds that crown to play role, Lol.

The new IT sucked so bad. The reason it made more on opening weekend is because it got more advertisement space than Halloween did. I didn’t see NEARLY as much commercials for this movie than I did for the new IT.
GREAT POINT! If HALLOWEEN had gotten the ad time "IT" had gotten, it would have made $150 million EASY! I remember ads being EVERYWHERE for "IT" but hardly ANYTHING was spent promoting "HALLOWEEN". I wonder why that was?

She's a wonderful woman and I am constantly struck by the fact that she always goes out of her way to mention Debra Hill. Debra, who produced "Halloween," "The Fog" and so many others, died back in 2005. She and Jamie were best friends and it's so nice to know that she keeps Debra's memory alive.
I think her death headlines will go on to read: actress and daughter of actor’s Tony Curtis & Janet Lee has passed. Whom first gained stardom from’78 slasher film HALLOWEEN and went on to star in (insert amount) major movie films.

I LOVE how seriously she takes the role, and the character. the way she "sells" Laurie to the camera is quite amusing, as though she's real. i suppose years of playing Laurie (and being paid a fortune for it) will make you speak in such a way. i LOVE JLC. i still can't believe her mother was the legendary Janet Leigh. Psycho (1960) is possibly one of my all time favourite ever 'slasher' films.

It was obvious this lady meant something to you and you pushed through with bravery and I was cheering you on every moment. It's hard to sit in the presence of a living legend, and that woman is a living a legend, and keep your wits about you. You did wonderful.
