Before i saw the first trailer, I was expecting it to look campy and just a silly remake. But the first trailer hooked me. And subsequent trailers have gotten me even more excited. I believe that this is going to be a very good movie. I can’t wait!

He's certainly built himself a little empire out of the genre. They ain't all gems, VERY few of them are, but he is "the guy" if you want to make a horror movie in Hollywood these days.

Jamie Lee Curtis is amazing!!!! The reviews have been incredible!!! 87 percent on Rotten Tomatoes!!! A huge box office debut for the film and it could be the first Halloween film to gross over 100 million!!! I am excited and pumped. To do a film like this takes a long time to get done. Jamie loves this film. And it is so relevant to what is going on now in society and with women who have to deal with severe trauma. Jason Blum may not be the Horror King but he has definitely changed the Horror genre. Also Jason is kind of HOT!!!!

When the crossover question came about regarding if Michael could do a ‘Freddy vs Jason’ movie and who would it be with, I was hoping that they said Michael vs Chucky. That would be gold!!!
Remember she has a son John from h20 and sadly he's forgotten with his girl they need to come back . Allyson n John are her last family roots with Karen dead. LL cool J should come in these are the last survivors now that they ruined Tommys chance of hypothetic lly taking over Fox Loomis intense desire to lock him up. Wouldn't it be weird to see Meyers die along with Laurie but bring get son John back ad a new Meyers...Someone who snaps like Laurie but with a rage to everyone who couldn't save Laurie . Or maybe Allyson becomes the first female Michael Meyers and kills for revenge but keeps on killing as her rage is so severe from all the trauma. Remember Jamie stabs her stepmother in Mikey's costume...Tho she stayed not evil I could see Allyson killing every Halloween like Laurie she sees her friends family slaughtered. Who wouldn't be screwed up after that. Either her or John could take over Meyers role it would be for revenge but the rag e stays and every Halloween after becomes a blood bath as either Allyson or John go home to kill. Its not about family anymore its not about revenge anymore its about the Meyer curse which Us basically the Meyer rage. In between the rage and kills they can use all the flashbacks to set the rage off. Just saying since they stupidly ended Tommy big mistake there. Tommy was a lit like Doc Loomis in the way they saw his evil. So here us John Laurie's son got away with his girl and they both were such a joy to watch. Not once is H20 in a flashback and with with she cut off the wrong mans head.They put Mikey in the van. That was another dumb idea. Just say oops I only cut his mask off that rolled in the grass. H20 was on point. Well written cept for the end beheading. Face it Laurie n Mikey grow old we need new blood pardon the pun. But no more stupid stuff like Tommy acting big like always and making him so weak one swing and gone is Tommy. The sexy nurse shoots herself not epic not a real Mikey kill just him kicking the door so her gun gets her. Tacky killing. Maybe he tortures her before he outs her n hubby on the playground ride which we don't see. All in all its a keeper and I still watch Halloween 6 despite people downing it. For Donald Pleasance and Paul Rudd and Kara n Danny. Tho they are not a Meyer the Strode name irks Mikey. Which is why I wanted Kara n Danny back and John ll cool J little Julian from 2018 they write him off with a one liner.I thought Cameron would make it to Halloween Ends his kill was too soon in my opinion. So I've summed up pretty much the dumb stuff in Kills yet it Delivered. I'm betting Sheriff Hawkins dies in Ends but was glad he cane back. Too bad sheriff Hunt from Hallween 2 was not brought back. He was so handsome and at least understood Doc Loomis hunting Mikey. So in kills The Tommy Cameron kill was not good IMO. And the sxy nurse kill was dumb. You would think a more horrific Mikey style. I'll have to deal with it. No more cool Tommy and a lousy script for him. Thankfully I've got Halloween and Halloween 6 to satisfy my Tommy n Loomis team ups. I cant vision Ends with everyone dead but the last 3 or 4 I should say I see no storyline left except maybe one dies. If blumhouse bring back Halloween with a whole new story after Ends it better be good and it needs to bring the final survivors in from Allyson to Lindsay Hawkins if he survives Kills. I am very hesitant about seeing the new Halloween movie but I will give it a chance. The Halloween franchise is my very favorite horror franchise of all time. Every year I watch the Halloween movies in a marathon during October. The trailer seems so much like Rob Zombie's trailer of Halloween. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I mention this because I became a big fan of the SAW movies and then Saw 7 happened and it felt rushed to me and questions unanswered. Then they followed up with the prequel which wasn't so bad but it needs to continue from SAW 7.
Well i think you dont have anything to worry about because as i am a big Halloween fan also with John Carpenter on board i think we will be ok because he didn't like Rob Zombies movie's at all and he has never really been this involved since the first masterpiece

She's willing to do anything to protect her family. Learn self-defense, bars on doors, secret rooms, flood lights, target practice, etc. She'll go to any length and do whatever it takes... unless that means being politically incorrect of course. The most popular rifle for home defense and most popular rifle used and owned my millions of Americans for defense, the AR-15, or any semi-auto rifle whatsoever for that matter, completely absent from her gun rack. That killed believably in her determination and character immediately. A couple of shot guns, mostly bolt action hunting rifles, and a lever gun. But I'm to believe she's not capable of using one of the easiest rifles to use but more capacity and ability than a lever gun and she wanted to be, instead, sensitive, to gun ban efforts. What a crock of PC stupidity.
I've already seen enough of Jamie. She will probably go back to Hollywood as soon as this makes money. The hype for this movie is laughable considering they are merely making another Halloween movie with Jamie basically remaking H20 no wonder why horror is in a rut. Have fun.
Bc thats Blumhouses whole M.O.. they believe in quality filmmaking on a budget.. and it works! This is gonna be their 4th straight horror/thriller release (Get Out, Split, Upgrade) thats made on low budget but blows the audiences away. Upgrade was really underrated, IMO.

I think Get Out is extremely overrated and thinks it way more clever than it actually is. It's not bad it's just way over hyped. I'm not gonna get into why I think it's so over hyped but that's my opinion. Theres others I much more prefer. Original Paranormal Activity, Insidious (first one), Hush was very good. And a movie that I think had a much better twist than Get Out was The Visit. Creep 1 and 2 are cool aswell.

But still youre kinda proving my point for me.. their first successful film was obviously Paranormal Activity which broke records with the profit it made against it's ridiculously small budget.. but I think that set off something in Jason Blums head about how you can find ways to make really good horror films on relatively small budgets if you just find the right directors and writers and give them the creative freedom they cannot get from a lsrger studio with a huge budget. Its worked very well for Blumhouse so far and honestly.. I hope they keep doing it. Big budgets can complicate things bc when that much money gets involved, studios tend to worry more which leads to executives controlling the film over the directors.
And despite your personal opinions.. all 4 of these movies HAVE blown audiences away when merely based on critical reviews and what not. I think Get Out, Split and Upgrade were all fantastic movies and Halloween sounds like its going to be as well.

I can understand wanting something to be perfect and of course rewrites and tweaks are a necessary part of the process, but I've never heard a writer say in so many words, "I had this great idea for a movie but it took me 80 tries to find it". I am very hesitant about seeing the new Halloween movie but I will give it a chance. The Halloween franchise is my very favorite horror franchise of all time. Every year I watch the Halloween movies in a marathon during October. The trailer seems so much like Rob Zombie's trailer of Halloween. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I mention this because I became a big fan of the SAW movies and then Saw 7 happened and it felt rushed to me and questions unanswered. Then they followed up with the prequel which wasn't so bad but it needs to continue from SAW 7.
Well i think you dont have anything to worry about because as i am a big Halloween fan also with John Carpenter on board i think we will be ok because he didn't like Rob Zombies movie's at all and he has never really been this involved since the first masterpiece
Omg I do same thing every October and on Halloween Night am usually on the last couple of Halloween movies.. Part 4 was the first one I remember seeing when I was younger.

She's willing to do anything to protect her family. Learn self-defense, bars on doors, secret rooms, flood lights, target practice, etc. She'll go to any length and do whatever it takes... unless that means being politically incorrect of course. The most popular rifle for home defense and most popular rifle used and owned my millions of Americans for defense, the AR-15, or any semi-auto rifle whatsoever for that matter, completely absent from her gun rack. That killed believably in her determination and character immediately. A couple of shot guns, mostly bolt action hunting rifles, and a lever gun. But I'm to believe she's not capable of using one of the easiest rifles to use but more capacity and ability than a lever gun and she wanted to be, instead, sensitive, to gun ban efforts. What a crock of PC stupidity.

I've already seen enough of Jamie. She will probably go back to Hollywood as soon as this makes money. The hype for this movie is laughable considering they are merely making another Halloween movie with Jamie basically remaking H20 no wonder why horror is in a rut. Have fun.
Idk why they would skimp on the budget for a movie like this. They are gonna make a killing, no need to skimp on the budget.
Bc thats Blumhouses whole M.O.. they believe in quality filmmaking on a budget.. and it works! This is gonna be their 4th straight horror/thriller release (Get Out, Split, Upgrade) thats made on low budget but blows the audiences away. Upgrade was really underrated, IMO.
@@drewharry88 I wouldn't say all that lol My favorite of those three is for sure Upgrade. I really enjoyed it. I think Get Out is extremely overrated and thinks it way more clever than it actually is. It's not bad it's just way over hyped. I'm not gonna get into why I think it's so over hyped but that's my opinion. Theres others I much more prefer. Original Paranormal Activity, Insidious (first one), Hush was very good. And a movie that I think had a much better twist than Get Out was The Visit. Creep 1 and 2 are cool aswell.
@@chriswilson1968 I forget they did the Creep films... I would 100% disagree with you on Get Out, though, lol. I think its clever for sure but I can see why people wouldn't enjoy it. But still youre kinda proving my point for me.. their first successful film was obviously Paranormal Activity which broke records with the profit it made against it's ridiculously small budget.. but I think that set off something in Jason Blums head about how you can find ways to make really good horror films on relatively small budgets if you just find the right directors and writers and give them the creative freedom they cannot get from a lsrger studio with a huge budget. Its worked very well for Blumhouse so far and honestly.. I hope they keep doing it. Big budgets can complicate things bc when that much money gets involved, studios tend to worry more which leads to executives controlling the film over the directors.
And despite your personal opinions.. all 4 of these movies HAVE blown audiences away when merely based on critical reviews and what not. I think Get Out, Split and Upgrade were all fantastic movies and Halloween sounds like its going to be as well.

The script for this trainwreck was garbage. Saw it on opening day and it was horrible. Jamie's Activia commercials were scarier than this crappy movie.

Im a true fan and the others films after part 2 were a joke.. Curse and H20 were decent but based off reviews so far.. this is the best since the original and it def looks that way from what Ive seen.
Making Michael Myers her brother made him less scary anyway. The fact that he has no motive for killing makes him even scarier

@@TheMiloDavis If anything it shows the exact opposite lol. Vision means you have a set idea and you follow it, like lightning striking the brain. I can understand wanting something to be perfect and of course rewrites and tweaks are a necessary part of the process, but I've never heard a writer say in so many words, "I had this great idea for a movie but it took me 80 tries to find it". That doesn't even make sense; you either have the idea to start with or you don't!
