    I tried this addon on UE5 but i can't change the lens flare and bloom effects. I used to do this with PostProcessVolume but i can't right now because the plugin can't be used together with PostProcessVolume. Please help, am still a beginner

    Ultra_Dynamic_Weathr Actor - Details Panel. The Dynamic Landscape Weather Effects Attributes are missing. Therefore, I can't select Enable Dynamic Landscape Weather Effects and I am stuck. What am I missing here to get those attributes? Thanks and keep rocking, cheers

    The puddles shouldn't be "pooling" on slopes lol
    Would this be fixed just by using a slope mask or something?

      @@Mikyplayz aha, like how do you use it for another project do need to migrate to blue print in the contente folder where the blue print is? I did try it that way but it doesnt work or unreal said that there some things wont migrate etc etc

      There is a 'flash lightning' BP that allows you to choose the start and end locations, or randomise it.

      @@hubertserafin9635 Oh and I just learned you'd need to use UE5 for the updated version of this BP to be able to use both the start and end point of the lightning. UE4 will not have both.

      You may need to readd UDS to your project.

    quick question would the rain particles drip on the character mesh too ? like if I did a close up shot will it should raining on the character?

      With UDS, you can do it. For that, you need to change the character's material. Check the UDS document for that.

    Unreal 5 doesn't have the option to select a landscape actor in the weather blueprint. Do you know if this works in Ue5?

      Landscape actor selection is no longer needed in the latest version of UDS. Yeah! It works on UE5 but not the displacements.

    Hi! Is it possible to have the seasons change during gameplay? For example a few days per one season and weather changing accordingly? I tried different approaches but can't seem to change the preset season after begin play.

      That's totally possible. You just need to set conditions in blueprints that are linked to the settings.
      If _____ then weather condition. Make sure the event that triggers it isn't begin play. That's too labor intensive. Put it on a timer or something.

    i thought tesselation was disabled fr ue5?
    or is this demonstration done in ue4.26?

      Yeah. This is 4.26. In 5.0, you don't have tessellation. I tried to use Virtual Heightfield mesh with this, but the result is not correct. Will do another post, if I found a way to do it.

      I guess, it is supported. But, I haven't tried that myself.

      I've just done this , and yes, you can render out a cinematic including the audio.

      @@karmapolice3335 I’m not sure what you mean. Just add the dynamic weather to the scene and it works. Create a cinematic and it’ll render as you see it.

      Nope. It doesn't work with HFMesh.
      And for this demo, I use 4.26 but I don't use tessellation.
      The default normal maps are just enough.

      @@27kmaster tessellation is not available in UE5. POM is not cheap & not even good looking for landscapes. POM works best for even terrains.

      There's very related to OpenLand in this video. We use a Material Instance & it uses a Material function provided by UDS.
      You can pause the video & check the name of that function at the time I am explaining it.

    Hello, I do work with Openland & UDS & they are both great products, I do have a question though. You are applying a component on the feet of the character in order to be responsive when he is walking. In my ultra dynamic sky folder there is not any DWLe bp in order to add it as a component. Do you have any idea why? The product iw updated up to now & I use 4.26.2. I am really interested in this footprint effect but why is missing from the folder? thank you in advance

      It's not a blueprint. It's a component. Add component to your characters blueprint and it will show up on the list as you start typing in DWL......

      @@buddelexperte5956 That's because of RVT blending. Which is not related to this weather system at all. It just get details from the ground & render it on the rock too.

    You are using OpenLand for the landscape, so basically your tutorial is useless you don't show us how to use it on basic landscape material.
