I have always been a snob when it comes to plugins, 95% of them are unusable garbage imo but this one is dope. It always works, its modular, everything is exposed no "magic boxes", a ton of features, works 100% on its own and doesn't break anything, easy to use, looks great, runs great, and all of that for only 45 bucks. 10 out of 10 would buy again, in fact pretty much everyone I know has bought this plugin.
This tool is such a masterpiece but it was difficult to find on the UE marketplace when searching for words such as "dynamic weather system" and so on. If possible, I strongly recommend renaming the product to Ultra Dynamic Sky and Weather so that anyone who does search for 'weather' will be able to find this amazing product. Thank you for the great work on it and keeping it updated for newer engines.

I purchased this plug in a few weeks ago, and it is the best purchase I have ever made! I use it in every project now. I have actually wasted HOURS of my life just playing around making beautiful skies and weather in UE5. I also didn't realize it came with Ultra Dynamic weather when I bought it.. what a nice surprise! It has been a game changer. ;)
Simply stunning! Playing around with the limitless combinations of sky and weather I almost forgot I was making a game XD. This is going to help so much especially in the level building and scenery phase as the mood can be set ahead of time and placement of windows and other meshes can be guided by how shadows and light fall in the scene. Such an amazing product :D

Fantastically helpful video. I just acquired this asset from the Marketplace 20 minutes ago. So far I've integrated UDS and UDW into a test scene, added the weather effects to my landscape material and the material for a static mesh, and tested out multiple weather and time of day settings. That's about as easy as one could possibly want. Well done!

omg. I just spent 1 hour trying to figure out why my clouds are not visible from high altitude. 5:28 This! Somehow the Volumetric Cloud Rendering Mode was switched to Background Only Clouds! Thanks for clarifying this in your video.
An awesome tool, no doubt. My only thought is that it needs to have a time offset relative to distance for the lightning sound effects - as we all know, light travels faster than sound, and you NEVER hear the sound of distant lightning in the same moment you see it! Something for the next iteration? Sorry if it seems nit-picky, but it was pretty glaring to me! Otherwise, fantastic stuff!

I have a material which has these three plus an additional four : Metallic, Specular, Emissive Color, and Ambient Occlusion. I’ve tried both leaving these four inputs in place, and breaking their links to the Master. Either way the outcome is bad. Please advise. Thanks
I got stuck at 12:40. If I need to add Metallic to Wet_Weather_Effect, where should I connect it? Then I need to connect Wet_Weather_Effect to MF_ObjAdjustments - metallic. But Wet_Weather_Effect doesn't have a pin for Metallic. How can I do this please? Thank you.

Can the drip effect be applied to materials that are on moving objects? I've tried but the drips seem to move independently from the mesh. Is there a way to have it move relavant to the positoon of the material on a character? Thanks!!
Yes, this is what the inputs on the function for controlling the drips UVs are for. There's a boolean for mapping the drips in world space. If that's false, the input for custom drip UVs will be used.

This is a feature already. It's "Close Thunder Delay Per KM" in the Sound Effects category. You can turn it up to a full speed of sound delay.

It's just a constant float. The shortcut to add one is to hold the 1 key and click in the graph.

Yeah, by in game I typically just mean effects that happen at runtime, so they could be present during a movie render as well, yes.

It would be controlled by the Speed Up and Speed Down exposure settings on a post process volume. Not something UDS takes control of itself.

SOLVED! I'm stupid. You just need to uncheck "Randomize Cloud Formation on Run". It's that easy LMAO!

No, spherical levels and seamless transition from ground to space isn't something UDS is built for. It's just beyond the scope of the asset.

By default, the sky colors will come from the settings in the Sky Atmosphere category.
