This asset is slightly better than UDS for way more money. Great video but I'd definitely recommend UDS over it
for the price yeah.. UDS should be the one you get as a hobbyist. Dont even bother with Sky Creator.

I make 3D musical videos since 2015 and UDS is too heavy for my PC... 😯😯
I think when you’re doing a review on a plugin that has a price this high, I think it should be mentioned in the review, that’s just my opinion! That price makes all the difference! It’s a great plugin no question, but I think the developer would do better by lowering the price and maybe charging more for some upgrades!
Are you delusional? He has no obligation to tell you the price or anything else. The sense of entitlement these days is insane. Years ago we payed thousands of dollars for much less before subscription models came around. If you can't afford it and want the plugin... play a little less video games and save some money. I’ve watched another vid after that concerning lightening. Those do look better than what I’ve seen off UDS. 150 US$. If it goes on sale some day could be a very nice alternative via plugin. I would like to see more in debt comparison specifically compared to UDS in configurations, realism of weather for example.

Are you able to save your own presets too? That's something I use a lot with UDS and would probably be a deal breaker for me. Although the weather in SC looks nuts!

why does my fps always tank when using this ? my i'm using an RTX 3090 24GB
It would be nice if these weather setups automatically added the needed nodes to the materials automatically. Like select the objects you want to be influenced, click a button, done. A guy can dream, right? :)
i have both of them , some reason uds client side flickering, but this badboy slaps
Is this Better than ultra Dynamic sky? I bought It couple weeks ago & i think i like the results so far
It has more features and I think the presets look better out of the box than UDS

UDS is the best weather asset for UE and it costs 100$ less than this one !
It is possible to add animation to some of these parameters, for example. make clouds appear or disappear? or change the state from a rainy sky to a clear one?
I have not tried but I read you can to some of the parameters, not sure about the clouds specifically

loll ..not for $150 my dude. UDS is way cheaper, is tried and true, can do all the same things and has a large discord group where people are constantly asking questions, chiming in with new ideas for the next iteration. The price to value alone makes the choice easy: UDS all day! You don't feel the $150 because you were sent the plugin.

Just starting with UE5 , so this plugin is too costly for a newbie like me, UDS is priced much better

@@3dchick Oh yes, I think it was , but still UDS was like about than one-third its price and the features difference is not that much , I ended up buying UDS when it was discounted, but unless the creator drops his price and makes it competitive with UDS, I think most people would just opt for UDS
