Looking forward to meeting the Dice Tower gang at Gen Con. No candy for Tom, though! (And no -- it is definitely not to meant to encourage or glorify drug use!)

I preordered this while we were at Dice Tower East. The Devir lady sold me and hen I was sad it wasn't available there. I love how 2 of my favorite things are merging here - I'm so looking forward to this!

Thank you thank you thank you for talking about the games that you've seen already. So many channels are just skipping over games they've seen and it doesn't help at all in prioritizing what I might want to look at

Got Harvest recently and it is definitely a game of game actions now to set myself up for a big action later. You can't waste your turns and the game plays very quickly. I have quite enjoyed it.

I strongly suggest that you give Cascadia Rolling another look
First off, they are both very similar. A few different abilities, but you can combine them for up to 8 players.
But aside from that, they are a really fun roll and write games. If you enjoy Cascadia and enjoy roll and writes, they are good. The maps all play differently and the “card river” is a fun mechanic.

Great preview, I adored Arcs when i played a few weeks ago. Lots of tight decisions. I can't wait to pick up Windmill Valley, the Expansion for Forest Shuffle, Pirates of Maracaibo, Cities, so many great games coming out. I'm gonna be at GenCon and I'll make some time to stop by and say hello.

The other thing about Wild Bill's (at least at Pax-U), is the line to get refills is long, so you don't want to waste all that time waiting in line in the middle of gaming. Also, last year they had a problem with stuff running out by early evening.

Just a heads up on the local game store question. Moonshot no longer has the Mass Ave location. Just Noblesville 😢

The flavor of Wild Bill sodas is pretty good, but for me, I wish it was less sweet. Also, most of the time, it feels like you waste so much time waiting in line for refills. The double-walled mugs are nice to use at home, but they are pricey, but I like the special PAX edition mugs I have. That said, I don't bring them to conventions usually because, as I mentioned, it takes up a lot of time, and also, as Tom mentioned, I don't actually want to drink enough soda to make it worth the price

@@marianmcbrine8980 Prob the last time I’ll support a Keymaster kickstarter. They bungled the stretch goals from the beginning, they changed a bunch of stuff without telling backers after the campaign ended hoping backers wouldn’t notice, many people’s stuff is coming damaged, and retail/non backers got the game before backers. Bad campaign.

So, is Essen worth going to? Are there any games in English for sale?
Pagan is a game designed by Danes, so you are looking for a publisher from Scandinavia, or an EU publisher. The names of the designers are a dead giveaway for me, since I live in Denmark. I have never heard of this game, and I have a friend who is probably up to 80 games in his collection. Maybe I will head to Bastard Cafe, in Copenhagen tomorrow and see about its publisher. Funny it is followed by Swedish designers

You guys seemed to have forgotten because I know you addressed in past Gen Con previews, but Devir goes out of their way to have people thumb their games. I'm sure Hard Rock is a great game but they're all artificially inflated - Arcs clearly has the most hype going into the con
