You are by far the most amazing stylist and educator on this platform. I really appreciate how articulate, detailed, thorough, creative, artistic, dedicated and perfectionistic you are. The fact that you address nearly every concern by anticipating questions and illustrating not only why you make the choices you do but also outlining other options and potential outcomes is very instructive. No need to apologize for your long videos; your commentary is so informative and useful. You cover each topic expertly. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for videos!!!! I appreciate that you show the whole process of application and explain what you are doing and why!!! So many great techniques, tips, and tricks! Can’t wait to try it all behind the chair!!!!
Wonderful! Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoy utilizing everything you've learned!
I love your honesty you are an amazing educator
Oh wow! Thank you, I never would call myself an educator! I appreciate the compliment!
I’ve been a stylist 33 years and I love the way you did the money piece and the side slices
Wow never thought to add the higher volume towards the end to bump up the level! Great idea!!
Oh yeah! Especially if it's just the last little stage of brassiness to bust thru. Should only take like 10 extra mintues ♥️
Not a stylist. Just here because I'm about to get my hair done since forever. You're awesome. I wish I could go to you💜👍
Amazing technique and artistry, really enjoy watching your videos! Plus I love your sense of humor😂
Oh thank you! ❤️❤️
Hello from Bonney Lake, WA.👋 Going to try BlondeMe next time I retouch my daughter’s foil. Beautiful end result. 🥰
Oh hello! Fellow washingtonian! Definitely try it! Know that it swells, I just water it down a bit. Thank you for watching!
It’s so beautiful 😻 ! Now give me my million dollar i watch whole video without fast forward 😂😂
😂😂😂💸💸💸💸💸💲💲💲💰💰💰
TA DAR! 🤣 your just so Talented and also very Funny😃 you just cheer me up with every watch and fabulous tutorial 👏🏼 loving your head "bobbing client" I felt your pain🙄 I have many of those too😳 perhaps hard clamps would be the way forward 😉🤣 Kristi, I love and always use the blonde me 20 vol and don't add olaplex and have to say I've never had any issues with swelling😊 just a thought 🤔 do you think possibly adding olaplex in may be the reason it swells🤔 just a thought. You could use a mannequin head perhaps to try and see and the condition is always great for me👍 I have used olaplex actually in joico blonde life that actually says you don't need to but I have and that was wonderful but just had none left with the blonde me and had such amazing results never felt the need to add😊 anyway I'm Waffling on now 🙄 so thank you a million as always your truly such a breath of fresh air and Love it when I get a notification it's you 💋X
Oh thank you! You're always so sweet! I feel like I had issues before when I wasn't using olaplex so that's interesting.... I've heard from so many other stylists they have the same issue, so I wonder if it's user error or something going on......
Thank you as always for watching!
Wow. Just beautiful. I wish you were closer to Missouri cause I'd love to get my hair done by you. 😍
Always a good time for a road trip!
I love your work. I need to know how long it takes you from start to finish for a full foil and root smudge?pleaseand ty. I take entirely too long 😩. I need to get my speed up.!! I'm curious how far off on my timing iam on theses..ty❤😊I'd appreciate it. You're AMAZING and I'm truly learning so much from you...
Subscribed. Love your personality and your work!
Thank you! That means so much!
You are amazinggg😍 I’m a new stylist and I finished school during the COVID shutdown and I love that you are so detailed with the video because it honestly makes me more comfortable. Definitely subscribing❤️
Thank you so much for watching and also subscribing! Means so much!
Kristi, on your darker haired clients, how long would you say you process them with the 20 vol? I’m a natural level 3/4, and I’m going to have my stylist take me from all over highlights to full blonde with the 20v and blondeme instead of 40 because I want to avoid breakage, so I wanted to know how long these clients usually process.
Oh man it really varies. The biggest thing is small sections and heavy saturation. Ive had bleach stay on for hours. Just not on scalp for hours
@@hairbykristijennings6648 Why would you leave it on for hours? The hair lightener quits lifting after an hour.
Love, love it!! Beautiful!!!!
Thank you!
I more than appreciate these videos, I struggle with the brassy blondes.
Girl your salon is possessed!
Elaborate! 😱😱😱

Ewwwwww! There's totally an Asian boy stuck in my dryer! 😱😱😱😫😫😫🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I always have a heck of a time combing out backcombing. You should talk about that if you haven’t. Because it stresses me out. I feel like my client is like wtf..?
🤣🤣💯💯 for real! I feel like that's normal, or my clients are usually like, sorry my hair tangles so much and I'm like oh no, it's from the back comb.... Paul Mitchell super skinny serum after towel drying to comb out, it's a 10 spray really helps too.
When u add the 30 are you mixing it with lightener or just by itself? Great tip! 💛💛
Hello! With bleach too.
Love your work!! 💖
Thank you! ♥️♥️
Love watching you !! Do you ever do any root shadows on shorter hair?? I would love to see you do something like that! 🤔
Thank you! I don't know that I have, maybe like shoulder length, but not much shorter. I will keep that in mind!
Yaaass please!
Maybe for a long pixie style ❤️
Beautiful work 😍
Thank you!
Great video! Which developer did you mix with The Demi permanent color?
Thank you! The processing solution....
Beautiful ❤... can I ask how long it takes you to foil this?? Just curious on hair times... wondering if I'm really slow lol 😆
Oh geez.... I'm slow. A couple hours. And don't feel bad about it. I was told im too slow and no one will want to come to me. It's detailed and meticulous. Blonde takes time, ashy blonde on dark takes even longer. Just make sure your charging your worth!
Love love love ❤️ it
Thank you!
Looks gorgeous! Just curious, how much would you charge for this service?
Hello! Her services are $250-320 usually
If I wanted to achieve this same toner, root shadow and glaze ) in redkens Shade, what would you use? I have a client that wants this same toner
Oh man..... I don't really use redken so I would have no idea... go on Instagram and follow redken page, they should have suggestions
Another question.. what do you use for a root shadow on grey coverage??
Hi kristy genning can you do tutorial her color from from blond to black and what bleach you us what developer you us what tonur you us yes or no
Hi. I have a question but why does blonde hair need refill with orange/red before going brown but with root shadows it doesn't?
I personally think it’s because the hair has been processed so many times thru the ends vs the roots freshly lightened once so there’s still more structure to the hair. The ends has been lifted so many times that it’s more hollow and needs to be filled…. That’s just my take.
@@hairbykristijennings6648 ohh thank you!!! This is very helpful i bleached my roots last night and they are sort of yellowish, between level 8and 9 and I was afraid of doing root retouch with a 6n cause I was like... What if I turn out green LOLOLOL please don't 🤣 I had to ask cause a friend of mine dyed her hair w color box level 6 and her ends were like yellowish and turned kinda greenish. So I had to do her like a quick clear with red to turn down the green. And im afraid mines gonna go the same path but I have alfaparf 6 colorwear tone on tone and I trust the brand but never used this dark I only use 10.21on my ends
@@hairbykristijennings6648 thanks Kristi i love your videos I'm fangirlobg over her ehehhe
Hi kristy genning can you do tutorial hear color fromblack to blond or from black to red strip mak sur what bleach you us what developer you us what tonur you us answer my question can you do if possible
Beautiful job! I wonder how some clients can go with such a dark root for so long? 🤨 I see 2 inches & immediately do a base bump 😒 I can’t stand dark and grown out roots. But that’s just me 😁
Hi kristy genning you hav to show how you put developer on from dark hear to blond you havto show what developer you put you skip
Hi kristy genning can you do gunkey blond highlight to color brown and blond and what developer you us what bleach you us and complet hear color lik april lol
Hi kristy gen ing can you do her color brown and blond and what bleach you put what developer you us what tonyr you us mak sur andwer my question brown and blond iam no you can do her color to color brown and blond if possible
Hi kristy genning can you do hear color to color gunkeh blond highlight brown andblond what bleach you us what developer you us mak shur yes or no
It is amazing as per usual. No body want to be dark brunette like me. 😔 oohhh did anyone ever want darkish red toned highlights? I’m curious.
Every now and then! But right now mostly ashy tones.
Stick to your gut on the olaplex thing. I also use Schwarzkopf lightener and olaplex every time because the one day I ran out of olaplex I had a client who I totally compromised her ends. This never happened to me before but also she had previously lightened it on her own and also had old box dye on there…
How long was root shadow on?
Usually 15 minutes roughly
Did you spray the Schwartzkopf with water this time? …"she has dark hair”
Wrong technique you need to dying first the hair and then do the highlights. So you would avoid the darkness in highlights .
We wanted the root shadow, that’s why we did the dark after. That was our intention.
