Jillee, I've been reading your blog and using your tips and ideas for quite awhile. Thank you so much for introducing me to Carol Tuttle's ideas for Dressing Your Truth. I've been reading about it all day and watching the videos. I have ordered her book Its Just My Nature. Thanks again.
Sure the black outfit with the red and white blouse IS a sharp outfit; however, the new change with the mint colored dress seems to suit her face better. It accentuates her facial coloring and makes her features 'pop'.
I'm a type 1 also and LOVE everything Dressing Your Truth has done for me. It's taken some time to figure out the closet after I went through it, but I have EASILY saved the money spent on the course in clothes that I no longer buy and don't wear. Hands down one of the best investments I've ever made in myself. = D
You look fantastic, so light and bright! So great to see you through this change. It is a blast to be a T1 and I've wondered for years what your look would be like if you discovered DYT. I'm so happy for you!
I am so glad to hear you are a type 1! I was having a gut wrenching time watching you in the black :P I am also a 1 who used to wear a lot of black. I think it may have matched my secondary 4 that I lived in mainly for 37 years :'( My cuteness was hidden or looked wrong in my "still" clothes. You are jaw droppingly fresh and cute!
I think you've always looked fabulous, regardless, but your style has fitted you very well (with your signature hair pulled to one side). I will have to say that I think she kind of turned you into a "Martha Stewart" look alike... I personally like your style, and they way you present yourself.
Tangerine Sky333 are you a secondary 2? I know what you mean, I’m much more into something with a bit more edge. I’m a 1/4 (well that’s my current mindset!) but love more boho style too. And I’m not ‘cute’! 🤩
Love the color on her but don't like the jacket she puts on everyone...so dated...a cute white shrug or shorter jacket would've looked better...also, I'm a type 3 with a secondary of four and I live in black...doesn't look or feel heavy on me..in fact when I wear a lot of color, it feels so off to me...I have to throw on something black or navy..must be my 4 coming out!! I actually think she looks good in black as well as the pretty dress at the end...
Interesting! I agree with you re: black. I think that I'm a 3/4, and I don't feel that black is heavy. I did fall into the trap of wearing too much black, and that didn't feel 100% honest to me either. I love some colour (tan, mint, peach, rust, and olive green), but black feels ok to me. The other primary colours do not. Leopard print feels like a neutral to me. I don't mind the jacket, but whoa... most of the hair transformations (especially for type 3s) don't appeal to me. I don't like those chunky highlights at all.

Very nice. The colors of the dress is so beautiful. Suits you perfectly.
She looks great in the type 1 outfit. All the black looked harsh on her. I love how soft and pretty she looks now! What a transformation

Erika Belliston yeah, I used to dress in my secondary 4 instead of my bright natural 1ness! Heavy.
Wow! Beautiful! I am a Type 1 aswell and I Love It!
Wow amazing she's gorgeous!
Great changes. Very adorable.
Wonderful Awesome Transformation!

Wow! We see your beautiful face instead of being distracted by the black!
Holy Shit !! That is AMAZING !! I wish Carol could do that for men !! - John
Just beautiful in your #1 truth!!
I think you pull off both looks quite well.
Can anyone explain to me the difference between "star points" vs "angular/triangles" in the DYT system? Thanks!
You look fabulous!
Jillee are you a secondary 4?
Beautiful x
The black looks chic, the pastel is church lady, which is great if you're a church lady!

but I like black (though I don't wear it often because it gets so hot where I live).
Love your dress.
