Meet Carrie, a soft and subtle Type 2 woman. As a former professional woman, Throughout her life, Carrie had learned to over-ride her true nature. As a child, she took on the belief that she needed to keep-the-peace by being "fun" and buffering friendships. This desire to connect people and create peace and comfort was actually true to her Type 2 nature, but she was doing it in a way that was opposed to her natural movement.
As she began to feel the physical effects of years of living in overdrive and moved from career to stay-at-home-mom she knew she needed a change. No one looks as good in type 2 colors, like a 2! I am consistently amazed at how they shine in the seemingly most subdued gray-toned colors. It's like magic on them.

When she came out afterwards, I began crying!! Her transformation is just incredible. I see so much of herself in me. I didn’t type myself as a 2 at first, I thought I was a 1 or 4. I tried to take on a different energy in order to keep peace in the home as a child. It became more and more exhausting to play those roles as an adult, trying to mimic another energy movement. I did not feel peaceful, and I’m so thankful now to feel validated that a gentle, nurturing spirit is not “weak”. I feel empowered as a woman in my own femininity and I saw that take place in her!
Her previous ensemble just “buzzed” at me, like Carol said, she wasn’t “clear”, her hair and clothes and jewelry distracted from her beauty and hid her. She just glows now 🥰

Same here! And in the before picture she looks so unstable the way she’s standing, and in the after picture she looks more grounded, more sure and stable. Beautiful! I’m crying, too. 💜✨😊
Wow! After the reveal it was like her before was a young girl playing dress up...trying on clothes that just didn’t express who she is. So lovely!

I'm not exactly sure why this particular video helped me today, but I felt a shift. I've been DYT for several years and am still constantly having to stop myself from "toning down", as I'm type 1. I can suddenly see why. Having a natural shyness, I haven't wanted to stand out in a crowd. But by toning it down with my clothing, I only made it worse because I was so uncomfortable, I would stick out like a "sore thumb"! This is going to help me look for more lightness and brightness. ❤ Thank you!

She looks like a whole other person. Like yes she was beautiful before but it is so much more pronounced now. She was practically glowing when she stepped out with the makeover. She went from just another simply beautiful woman to being stunning, eye-catching, pick her out of a crowd because she exudes this glowing *something* else. Wow.

I watch things like this that say, "see, you are a type two." Some people think I'm a 1-or 3, occasionally a 4. A few people pay attention to my initial approach to new situations.
My mom just passed away after two weeks of doctors pushing for decisions. While I was trying to take care of other more urgent decisions.
People are sad that we have to wait almost two weeks for services. (Grateful we can have anything right now.) I am so grateful that we are waiting for my brother. I need the time.
I have had so much to do, on my own. I get so tired because I have to push because there are timelines. "Adrenal Fatigue" symptoms are flaring. I just need time to process. Need longer timelines. Even with more time, I put pressure on myself. My body is responding.

It was truly incredible how she emerged - became "clear" as Carol said. It was like she stepped out of a tunnel into the light. Moving and amazing - I love the magic of DYT!

I can’t help but think about how her life must have changed from this moment; how her family and friends reacted to her transformation. @@CarolTuttleVideos thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I believe that I am a type 1 and I have the style kit which is such a lovely resource. I keep the small cards in my purse and to refer to whenever I shop. I used them recently and choose a new diary with a cover that matched my style card. I usually find decisions like that really hard to make because, for example, I will be using the diary for the whole year and I like to feel sure that I will love the cover as much on day 365 as I do on day 1. Also I keep my diaries to remind me of all the things I did each year. Anything that helps me make good decisions quicker is really appreciated. Thank you again.
That was phenomenal! You're right, there is more clarity. She has appeared whereas before it was like her hair was a set of curtains for her to hide behind. I LOVE the transformation!
I'm really grateful for finding out I'm a type 2, to find out I'm enough, that my gracefulness and flow is as important as a type 3's ability to push forward. I've recently realized that I will feel even better if I pull less from my secondary 1 than I have the past year since I realized my type. It wasn't an easy journey to find out I was a 2. I started there, and then did the loop of types. I didn't feel comfortable being myself because I had a lot of messages from toxic relationships telling me I wasn't enough, I wasn't fast enough, I was too "weepy". I even thought my face was wrong because of how my mom put down a lady in at church when I was growing up because her features her a downward turn. It made me self-critical. She always wanted me to be a copy of her so she would feel validated and looked-up to. But I'd rather be me. I was also afraid of the grey because it makes me fear depression for some reason. Maybe I can get clear on that and not be afraid of it. I have just a couple of pieces of grey clothing, but people always say I look good in it. It's been so exhausting living with the idea that I had to be bold and open and assertive and greet everyone and I tried so hard to impress other people and thought I had to. I know where those false beliefs came from, so now I can release them. I like the real me, and I'm finding more of me everyday. I think I want to just do a semi-minimalist wardrobe capsule now of pretty much type 2 only (there's my type 1 secondary sneaking in), and let my type 1 fly in the living room decor and the bathroom. I think it will bring me healing and peace. I think it will also reinforce that I am enough as just me. I don't have to take on characteristics of anyone else to be worthy. I can just quietly shimmer in my corner and be enough.
I think this is my favorite transformation of a type 2 woman ❤❤

This makes me so sad. The original outfit is the exact thing I would have chosen...& actually own. Im a type 2. I hate the washed out, muted colors in her 2nd outfit & would NEVER choose them. But Carol is exactly right, she disappeared in the original outfit & looks stunning, glowing in the 2nd outfit. Her face is what you see first now & she is truly lovely. I don't know how to dress like this and hate the grayish colors. 😔
Hi Antonia, I'm also type 2 and didn't like the greys either. However it's surprising how comfortable and real I feel in them. I'd say try them and see how you feel. You don't have to change your whole wardrobe at once.
If you look at that style card, there are also darker colors on there, and was also wearing a more intense sort of burgundy which I find very pretty. I think there’s quite a bit of mix-and-match possible… 💜❤️ And like Anne was saying, you will discover your version of a type two style, based on the basic elements.
I was thinking the same fir my bokd T4 colours ( like she wore before). How can I wear those??? Its so much easier ti be in grays 😂😂.
It just goes to show it's not about a person's hair or skin colour - it's their energy profile!

I loved this video for Type 2. I would like to see more Type 2 / 1 videos. However, I am still confused. This girl looks a lot like the girl which is Type 1. I can see that this girl has Type 2 qualities however, her features look Type 1 to me. Also, she looks like she has a warm undertone and would look great in gold accessories. Can you please explain features and undertones when categorizing the types. Thanks. And, I love the outfit that Anne selected. I would totally wear that.
