Funny story about this song and this band...I was in a club in 05 for a COLD/Smile Empty Soul concert and Flyleaf was opening for them.....just bought a Jack n Coke and wasnt paying attention to Flyleaf.....this was the first song they played....my jack and coke went flying when she screamed....needless to say I was paying attention after that....
It was so cute how big you smiled when you saw Lacey lol. Flyleaf is an amazing Christian rock band. She has I think a 4 part series on here how she went from being an Atheist to Christian and how it lead her on this path, give it a listen I think you'll enjoy it! I went to high school with these guys. My band used to play shows with them back when they were called “Passerby”. I still see them on some holidays. Pat, the bassist is a monster. His sister was my sisters best friend in high school. And me and their guitarist Jared Hartman sat next to each other in web mastering class. His sister Tafin, is my barber to this day! I love these guy but IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY BAND!!! Lol.

I saw Fly Leaf at the Family Values Tour in 2007. Sadly Lacy didn't do her growls 😢. They actually blew out the PA, which delayed the following acts. Well, Amy Lee from Evanescence decided to drink with guys from Hellyeah since her set was one of the band's delayed and uh, it was obvious when she finally came on. She did her whole set pretty lit but still delivered. Good times.

But the singer, Lacey Sturm left the band a few years back and went on to start her own band called Lacey Sturm. They have one album right now called Life Screams and it has a lot of good songs! I'd recommend Vanity and Rot (they go together), Impossible or I'm Not Laughing!
