As an official, what I have to constantly deal with are coaches screaming “double!” because they see spin on the ball but the same coaches are silent when their own setters have spin. Very good video and reminder!
I was an official a few years back and I would talk with the coaches before every match and show them the rule and tell them how I would be determining a double violation. Its also been my experience as both coach and an official that the majority of coaches have never even read the rule book and don’t know what the rules actually are. It’s funny because us coaches will scream bloody murder if the other teams set has spin but be completely silent when it’s our team.
I just had this very thing happen in a tournament today! I coach a girls 15's club team and our setter had a set that obviously did not have a double contact but the ref felt that there was too much spin. The funny thing is, when you ask them how much spin is too much. They never have an answer. So there is no definitive rule, just personal opinion that changes from referee to referee.

Can you do a video where just because the ball goes below the chin when setting its not an automatic carry/lift?
Example #4 is questionable because it entered your hands at different times. But probably wouldn't have noticeable if it was played at normal speed.
