1200 calories is starving, unless perhaps you're a child. I used a 1200 calorie rule a long time ago and dropped a lot of weight in a short period of time but it was unhealthy. I would suggest you look into reverse dieting as it has helped me eat 1600-1800 cal a day and still lose weight without feeling hungry. :) Also involves weight training and adding protein.

Im also still eating a high protein diet and focusing on strength training and staying active during this time.☺️ Im definitely very conscious that these things can be unhealthy if they’re not done right and am doing this in a way that’s comfortable for me, which some days is eating more if needed. 💓

Many health/medical websites state that it is okay for women to consume this little and many weight loss apps recommend around 1200 calories daily. On average, women tend to burn 1,600-1,950 calories daily. So you need a calorie deficiency depending on your weight and height and sex. There's no standard.
