  • Welcome to part one of my Overlanding the Oregon Owyhees in my Bronco series. This day was heavy one the driving, so I wasn't able to explore the area a ton. But I decided I would take the time and show you how I setup my Bronco for this trip. Hope you enjoy, and stick around because there are 3 more videos coming your way of Overlanding the Oregon Owyhees!

I've got the trailrax TRMRR rack for my bronco as well. You can buy extra cross member extrusions and add them to the rack to fit the Roam box mounts or any other items that don't perfectly line up with the fixed locations of the cross members. They fit into the long slots on the main support beams. I was going to do that for my traction board mounts but ended up coming with a solution that I didn't need to spend the 50 bucks on another extrusion. I may go with a roam box for some recovery gear but I'll end up mounting it front to back if I do.

    Great video!
Took my family up to Lost Lake by Snoqualmie Pass last Saturday. The lake was nice, we stopped there for lunch. We tried to continue on around the loop on the west side of the lake, but got stopped by what looked like an old avalanche that hadn't melted yet (blocked the road), we did add some nice trail tattoo to the side of our vehicle though (road got really narrow with bushes on both sides). Then tried the route up the east side of the lake towards Mirror Lake, but beyond the mirror lake trailhead the road gets really bad and we don't have out lift yet, so decided to stop there.
We live just off hwy 18 in east auburn on the hill, your video shows you driving right past where we live. :) We are trying to go out as much as possible right now before the fire/smoke season sets in.

Interesting thing is that of all the off roading videos I watch, non use tire chains except for 1 time a rancher used them on a Powerwagon.

I like your channel I see you as a minimalist on camping , you don’t have that big gladiator on 40’s with that giant foot print and weight that literally destroys the environment…

You have enough flipping filler shots? You want to actually show us the actual road or the trail? It’s cool that you’re sponsored or whatever but I tried to watch this series to learn about the actual trail to see if I wanted to travel on it. You talked more about your bronco than anything else. I don’t even want to watch any of your other videos cuz you’re obviously not about the travel; you’re clickbait. All you do is push your sponsors for extra cash. And talk about your bronco. It’s disappointing.

Well this was the first video of the series. I had to drive 11 hours just to get off road so there wasn’t much exploring, I wanted to do a walk around for those interested in my setup. Day 2 is different but not sure you’d be a welcome addition to the channel anyways
