I think part of being a successful offliner is definitely having a full life. Things like work you’re doing, church, friends, etc. If you don’t have some of these things, it would be hard to stay offline 😅 I have some of these things, but I definitely want more. I’d like to fill my life up with things so the need to be online isn’t as constant. Thank you for the lovely video Ezinne. ❤

I reason with you. Without all of these factors in place, life would almost be boring offline
Try reading,start reading books
If you're Christian then listening to sermons to grow your faith ,journaling and tbh just living in the moment
Be quiet,look around, Observe things...I promise you,you'd notice alot more things around you than you ever have
Also,you can add working out😊I hv a full day without social media

I took a few months off, I was able to study the scriptures like I never did before, changed my life ❤
I remember the first time I took 7 months off social media in 2020, my life has never remained the same😂😂. Now I’m not a fan of Social media,I take more breaks,when God would have me. If I had the choice I’d stay off permanently 😂.
I realized,during that time that there’s life to actually be lived,I started taking more pictures and videos but not to post, to appreciate the special moments that God has graced me to live,above all I learned to appreciate the beauty and serenity of a quiet life.
Thank you for always making ‘normal’ look beautiful. I had the constant pressure to show up too because of what God has led me to start but seeing you take your time has inspired me to find my pace,one that’s healthy for my soul-as led by God ofcourse 😂🤲🏽.

Social media breaks are so refreshing. I’ve never been off as long as you have but I do well to take short ones intermittently. I look forward to when I can take long breaks without worrying about work.

I love the idea of a long social media break because one of the most direct effects is a rich fellowship with the Lord, the distractions are almost zeroed out. It’s also very healthy. I think it should be a regular one. It also elevates the quality of a persons life, somehow life suddenly has more meaning offline. Thanks for uploading this video! Love you. ❤

As a student, it's quite hard to take breaks off social media. I have been considering doing this for a while but then.... having to stay updated with school activities is something. (Not even Unilagggg)😅😅

I had 9 months off last year and it was so liberating. I sense another coming soon. I don’t mind at all
I enjoyed this. Whenever I am overwhelmed or I have a lot of things to do offline, I just leave social media. The last time I left social media, though, wasn't intentional. My brand new phone got bad, and I unavoidably went offline, but I became used to it that even after I got my phone I didn't want to come online until my friends and people started calling to ask if I'm OK. Another thing I find funny is that some people just assume that you are not doing OK once you are offline. We still have real lives offline. I would love to see the real estate video .

Thank you for sharing this Ezinne. Well-done on the Hallelujah & Documentary projects 😍I took a social media break sometime last year for up to 5 months, and just like you said, it was liberating. It made me realise I had a silly urge of wanting things I saw, not because I needed them but because they were constantly in my face (I dare say I am naturally contented, thanks to my upbringing. So it was weird & I knew there was a problem somewhere). The break also took away some sort of cramped noise / informations off my head. It was totally worth it. I plan to take another break soon.

I remember talking a 7day social media break. Indirectly a break from my phone. Honestly, it is so rejuvenating.
However, I wish that time I meet more people. But it was mainly for refreshing myself of which it accomplished. I am hoping to take one again soon.

Im 3years off instagram&snapchat and 6months off twitter😂...i check my friends up with my sisters' pages once in a while, but its been peaceful not having the distraction and excess dopamine from social media in general.😅
I have taken some weeks, ( I think 3 weeks) off SM. Trust me, it helped made me less concern with the happenings around the world as against before the break.

I always take at least 2 weeks off social media every December... Most times i do it more frequently- every 3 or 6 months I go 1-2 weeks completely off every SM... Last year, went over 4weeks off social media at the end of the year and it was quite liberating 😊

I took a break from social media for 90 days around January to April and now I know that social media isn’t all about life. Also I now allow myself to take breaks more often and now I know how to make money off social media.
Taking a break at first especially when it’s your source of income is scary but when you do, you won’t remain the same
